Horrible Airline Ever !!!
JetStar parent company (Qantas) rescheduled my flights from LOs Angeles to Brisbane 4 times 3 hours before departure and every time I had to call in to figure out the new departures time cuz their text and my online account wouldn't show the new scheduled. 30 min before landing in Brisbane water started leaking from the airplane sealing and dripping on my shoulder for 30 mins so had to hold my pillow against the sealing to avoid getting wet. When I told the crew after landing, they treated the matter like its normal (" oh, probably something froze in there and started melting before landing").
This was not the end of it. I booked a flight with Qantas' domestic airline (JetStar) to go to Sydney. While on the road to the airport at 5:30 AM and 1.5 hour before the departure got a text saying that my flight got canceled due to crew requirement!!! It seems that they don't have enough crew so when someone can't show up to work for the first flight in the morning, they will cancel the flight instead of delaying it. Now on the phone waiting for a live person for the past hour so I can reschedule to another of their flights or Qantas. No wondering the locals call this airline ShitStar. Hope I can find a flight otherwise have to cancel my trip Sydney.
Australia is a beautiful country; however, if Qantas is the only way to come here and go around, I suggest going to Hawaii. Shorter trip, probably cost way cheaper cuz it is really expensive in Australia, and most important airlines are safer and more reliable in U.S.
