Everything from plants, to fruits and veggies, to water features, sculptures, and more! There is a wonderful gift shop with anything you could want for your garden to help plants grow or keep animals away. They have all kinds of fun gifts and trinkets for the garden and around the house! I wrote a nice review about this place after the first time I went several years ago, but it undoubtedly deserves an update. I have been several times since my first visit, and love it every time! The owner, Gustavo, is a true gem. He is friendly, knowledgeable, hardworking, and an overall joy to interact with. He greets everyone with a huge smile, and is always happy to answer questions and help. He works seven days a week most weeks, and is truly passionate about what he does. This past weekend, they hosted their 17th Annual Christmas Open House. This event features live music, local wine, hot chocolate and cider, and homemade pastries by Gustavo's wife herself! They transform the gift shop into a winter wonderland, featuring around a dozen decorated Christmas trees among other festive decorations! People are encouraged to bring pastries to share, and they definitely did! There was a huge table with cookies, cakes, pies, and more! They also help collect donations for the local food bank by offering a discount on your purchase if you bring a bag of canned or non-perishables. We attended this event on Friday the 6th, and it was a lovely experience! The vibes were amazing, sipping wine and cider listening to live music by some fire pits. However, I want to assure anyone looking for a solid family-run and ethical jeweler that Jeff and Yvonne are the most genuine couple I've ever met. It's been an absolute pleasure to work with them each time we've visited. As an Elite member, we have a duty to be unbiased, which means we should always say it as it is. My son called me yesterday (Sunday) to tell me that my daughter-in-law, Marisol, had appendicitis…read moreand had had an appendectomy on Saturday (11/04/23). We had heard from Jim the week before (10/28) when communicating by e-mail and he had mentioned that she had had food poisoning that week from a taco . . . but when he called us yesterday, apparently it was not food poisoning but appendicitis! So it was really bad to go on so long but thank goodness she got to the hospital (Watsonville Community Hospital) and we understand they are taking excellent care of her as she recuperates after that emergency surgery, although she spoke to me for a moment on the phone and did say she felt like she had been run over by a truck. With all that happening to the poor girl, I hoped I could get some flowers to her hospital room to cheer her up a little bit. Looking up florists in the area, my daughter Susan and I found "Flowers by Toshi" in Watsonville and I called their number and spoke with Ryoko. As it turned out, I decided to send an orchid plant. Ryoko said it would be at the hospital before 1:00 this afternoon. I spoke with my son a while ago and he said the plant arrived this morning while he was visiting Marisol and "they were beautiful" so that made me really happy - that they were beautiful and apparently there well before 1:00! I strongly recommend Ryoko and "Flowers by Toshi" if you are someone who is also out-of-town wanting to send flowers to someone in Watsonville! I wanted to cheer up my dear daughter-in-law who is the sweetest girl!
