Dr. Jett was great. Went on the groupon he had up earlier this year. Was having some moderate upper back pain and he did some adjustments that helped temporarily and lots of exercises/habit recommendations that I've been using and I rarely ever have those pains anymore now! If I still lived in the area, I would definitely go see him on a regular basis, he doesn't take my insurance (but not many do, damn you Tricare) however, his prices are very reasonable even without it. The massage part of the groupon was another story entirely. Came in on a separate visit for the massage portion. This was NOT with Dr. Jett, so I'm only taking off 1 star from his review even though this was a 1 star experience. The massage lasted less than 30 mins rather than the 60 mins paid for(but it was a groupon so I didn't complain). The experience was awkward and uncomfortable, the massage was mediocre at best, and my neck actually hurt more afterword than it did before. Blah. Dr. Jett, your practice has great potential, but get a new massage therapist. read more

Dr Jett is a true healer, concerned with your physical and emotional well being. Upon telling him my knee went out after dancing at a party he was able to show me my ACL was severely damaged. Had ACL replacement surgery at the beginning of 2019 and feel like my life is beginning again. Upon telling him my vertigo was flaring up he did the quick vertigo test and ruled that out, did an adrenal gland test and recommended supplements: dizziness went away with a few days and again he prompted me to go to my GP for further tests. So, recently, I hurt myself at the gym, where I overstretched the muscles in my right leg. The pain went on for two months, and that was when I decided to go to a chiropractor. I saw the reviews on here for Dr. Jett and since it was relatively near where I live, I went on their website and scheduled an appointment. The place is relatively small and private, with two doctors on staff at all times, during the time I was there. They do take insurance, so don't hesitate asking them about it! I saw Dr. Jett and he patiently listened to my description of the symptoms and how the injury came about. After some stretches and pinpointing the pain, he quickly diagnosed what was the cause. His explanation was in-depth and straightforward, and I had no problem understanding what happened and what needs to be done to heal. For the following visits, he answered any questions I had, as well as questions concerning how adjustments were made and what he looked for when he did them. We also spoke about weight loss and he introduced some core exercises I could do at home. He also lent me a book to read about effective weight loss, which was very informative. While the book was based on a weight loss program that he partook in, he never pressed the program on to me. Instead, he took the approach of informing me of its existence where it was my choice if I ever want to join it. Overall, I had a very positive experience at Jett Chiropractic. The staff were friendly and helpful and I would definitely recommend it to my friends and family. read more

I had to take two stars off. The massage therapist Laura is not that great. She played with her phone with one hand and massaged me with the other hand. One handed massage..great! She also claimed she didn't want to hurt me by going too deep..but her massages were just rubs. She also ran out to feed money in the meters..cutting into my time. So instead of a 30 minute massage..it was twenty minutes. I tipped her thinking that you had to but I wish i kept my money. All the knots are still there. I'm sticking with Dr. Jett only! read more

I've been seeing Dr. Jett for a couple of years. Every once in a while, I pull or injure something and need to be adjusted. So far, he's been able to fix me up in just one visit every time (usually giving me some exercises to do on my own.) He's an amazing diagnostician -- he can usually find the exact source of the problem within a couple of minutes (and he will tell ME how it hurts, when it hurts and why it hurts!) I'm a terrible patient and ordinarily don't seek help until I have no choice. For two weeks I was having trouble with my lower back and hip (I don't think I'm nearly old enough to think about hips) till it got so bad I could hardly walk. I was referred to dr. Jett many years ago by my boss. Its now been the doctor i go to for my back, digestion and just for a friendly hello! When i started with dr. Jett, i could barely feel my lower back unless touched and then i would howl with pain. Working with dr. Jett, im happy to say my back is stronger than ever. He showed me practical stretches that i could do and still do! At first i was a bit skeptical of the whole chiro industry but now i understand that doctors like michael jett who treat their patients holistically first, are more and more hard to find. After a few visits dr. J noticed my weak spots in my back and we discussed nutrition. Really, this doctor sat and talked to me for nearly an hour! What i take from this experience, After 10+years, hes still my goto doctor with any pain. When i began i saw him once a week. After a couple months 2x a month and now just about quarterly. I had a very disappointing experience with Dr. Jett. I was a new patient and he didn't take my insurance so I was told that the fee would be $130 cash for the first visit. At 35+ weeks pregnant I was suffering from very bad back pain and he had been referred by a friend who had seen him when pregnant. While waiting for my appointment, a man came to the entrance, which was locked, and I limped over to unlock the door for him. As soon as Dr. Jett stepped out of his room, it was obvious that the man and Dr. Jett knew each other. The man who had clearly seen that I was heavily pregnant and in a lot of pain, and despite arriving after me, asked Dr. Jett, "am I next?" to which the doctor responded "I'm going to take you next because I need to spend more time with her." He didn't ask me if that was acceptable to me and he didn't care that my appointment was before this man's. He just treated a new patient who happened to be a heavily pregnant woman like she was invisible. I cannot imagine arriving after someone and essentially asking to cut that person, and especially not a visibly pregnant woman who is in visible pain, but some people feel more entitled than others. Regardless, the doctor was 100% in the wrong to not, at the very least, ask me if that was ok with me. I would have left but I was in so much pain that I did not want to wait to see a chiropractor and I wanted to give the doctor the benefit of the doubt as it was our first encounter. My appointment, obviously, started late. I paid for my treatment in full and in cash as requested. I realized later that a receipt for my payment was not provided so I called Dr. Jett letting him know this. His response was, again, not apologetic, but instead he aggressively asked if I would be returning, which seemed to imply that I would not get a receipt unless I returned. Confused, I asked whether that meant that I would only get a receipt if I returned and he proceeded to tell me about his rather odd practice of not providing a receipt until the end of the year because typically patients return to complete their "treatment plan." I found this strange because one usually provides a receipt once services are rendered and not contingent on someone returning and paying for additional services. Also, it was particularly odd since we did not discuss a "treatment plan." I spoke with the friend who recommended Dr. Jett to me and she said that she got a receipt at every appointment and if she didn't get one then he would mail her one. In my phone conversation, he never offered to mail the receipt. The difference between me and my friend is that she was only paying a small co-pay and Dr. Jett billed her insurance for the rest. She also said that she never got an itemized receipt at the end of the year and that they never discussed a "treatment plan" either. I can only assume that Dr. Jett has a reason for treating all-cash paying clients differently from those whose insurance he bills. When I picked up the receipt, Dr. Jett handed it to me and said "here you go." He did not apologize for the inconvenience or the miscommunication. He made zero effort to smooth things over. Since I have manners I thanked him and walked out, feeling again mistreated by this person for no reason. I cannot recommend Dr. Jett for his poor customer service, curious business practices and downright rudeness to me, but I also cannot recommend him as a chiropractor. He only treats the place where you're feeling pain unless you ask him to adjust elsewhere, which is completely contrary to my experiences with previous chiropractors. My understanding is that pain in one spot can be coming from a misalignment elsewhere. All in all, it was a very upsetting and bizarre experience and certainly not worth $130. read more

Dr. Jett is truly a professional and caring individual. I have been to other chiropractors, and never came out feeling better. Unlike others in the field, he does not manipulate your bones and instead uses something called an activator. He listens to your concerns carefully and explains what is wrong. He has equipment that can help ease the pain and it's included with the visit. He tells you the type of after-care that will help your situation whether it be a particular exercise, massage, or telling you to get it checked by an orthopedist. He doesn't lie to his patients and if he can't fix it, he will tell you. But I have found his diagnosis spot on. I think all these positive reviews speak for themselves.
