The second best decision was to call Fesmire HVAC for installation! I called 2 other companies from Pueblo for estimates. One never returned my message and the other said they would be here w/in the next week for a bid and never showed up or called to reschedule. Fesmire was my top pick from the beginning but, I wanted three bids. Louis Fesmire IV made an appt for the next day for an estimate and showed up early. We scheduled within the coming month and I now am having the most pleasant summer in Pueblo in 35 years! Louis and his team were here right on schedule and the installation was completed within five hours. House was build in 1929 so, as you could imagine, not a simple install. The team was more then cordial and did an excellent job. The cost was very reasonable and I couldn't be more satisfied. My HVAC service will only be Fesmires from now on.

I saw that Alpha Air was rated pretty good and so I called Kyle Myers, the owner, and he came out that afternoon. He confirmed the problem and noted that the brand of heater that I had, had a recall on the heater for the very reason that cause the leak. That really didn't help me though because of the age of the heater, but he and I discussed various options that I had for my situation. The thing I noted was that several of his points he made contradicted what the previous estimator said. I dug into all of the issues and discovered that Kyle was correct about each of the differences and that the previous estimator wasn't note even going to install a more current, required pvc exhaust pipe, nor was he going to get the job permitted... something that Kyle said he insisted on. So, I went with Kyle and could not have been happier! He and his crew were incredibly knowledgeable, and certified in multiple areas, electrical, hvac, plumbing etc. His total price even came in less than the first quote I received. The job was inspected and passed with the inspector noting the quality. I highly recommend Alpa Air (Kyle Myers) to anyone needing work on or installing an hvac.

Jason Tse was my tech and he explained their down payment and charges. I was given 3 quotes each for the difficulty of the repair. I knew it was going to be expensive. I signed to continue the work. Who else could I get at 5pm on New Year's Eve? Jason went to work trying to locate the source. He checked the breaker box, voltage and nothing was pinpointing the cause. Jason really wanted to find and fix the problem before the night was out. And back to work Jason went. He isolated the problem around 8pm after checking the lines in the attic and each room. I told him I'd like to finish up by 9 and continue after New Year's Day. Jason wanted to work until everything was fixed.
