She wants to take the same test that I already took again just waiting time and money I requested another appointment with the same doctor I saw in the beginning she ignored that and only gave me a visit to take a blood work and other exams that that I already took an extra exams and did not listen to my request of seeing the same doctor that I seen in the beginning. They are absolutely the best, like family members that you love. From the front desk all the way throughout the building, every single person cares about your family member that is there. My mom has some special needs that I needed to discuss with the staff, we came away from our meeting feeling confident that I was heard and my mom would get the care that she needs. My mom's room is nice and spacious, compared to what I've seen at other places. The entire facility is clean, and well taken care of. I would highly recommend doing what we did, taking the time to research and speak with the people at LCCA if you have someone that needs long-term skilled nursing. I'd give the staff ten stars! !

The living conditions have been unacceptable at best. The wheel chair that they used to transport him to his room was covered with slimmy ooze, the floors are so sticky that my mom almost fell from her shoes sticking to the floor/carpet. The staff only offer a shower 2 times a week and didn't even think to clean him in between showers. My father is pre-diabetic and the staff gave him nothing more than pudding for dinner one night, which is absolutely unacceptable! When he rang his buzzer to ask for assistance, the staff doesn't respond. He ended up having to get out of bed and walk himself to the bathroom which was highly dangerous for him, but he was desperate. We are looking to move him from this place ASAP!!! This is clearly some place you send someone to die, not to get better.

The room was clean and tidy. The assistant and/or nurse that brought us back (even tho scared of my service dog) brought us large tub of water for her and an oxygen tank for me, so I could save battery on my portable for drive home. Yesterday, we met with Pre Procedure Services and the NP was thorough, went through all of my medications, reviewed my providers and finally, EKG. She did a great job and I was surprised to see that the patient room was tidy and clean (first) for me. Of course, we walked so much, I couldn't breathe, barely catching my breath, used rescue inhaler and finally, could breathe. We live about 25 miles away, its rush hour traffic, due to timing so it takes little over an hour (one way) to get home.

I read with interest the reviews from patients who had adverse experiences, some similar to mine,…read moreand saw that they were referred to a patient representative with an offer to hear concerns. In my experience, this route goes nowhere. I have gone through the proper channels to raise concerns that represent systemic issues at Anschutz, with no answer, no response, or a call from someone saying she would "look into it" and call me back in a day or two. Never heard from her again. My time there is past, and I will never return for care, after my long wait for a second opinion elsewhere who actually treated me, after my documented neurological deterioration went unaddressed at Anschutz. However, my continuing concern lies with other patients there who are subject to the same systemic practices that I was, including, but not limited to: copy forward errors throughout my chart which misled downstream clinicians, lacking fund of medical knowledge among attendings and fellows - fellows who served as gatekeepers for care denial based on lack of knowledge, claims of accreditation yet operating against published directions by the accrediting agency without explanation or documentation, refusal to answer patient questions, non-escalation of treatment in a patient known to be worsening, dismissiveness/minimization, and worst of all, records falsification. Nurses, MA's, and front desk staff were always kind and responsive. The physicians I encountered, as a group in one particular department (Neurology) were not. What is allowed will continue, so: Knowing that systemic issues have been identified by more than one patient, are you willing to address them seriously, or simply continue to refer patients to a number or email that goes unanswered? Thank you for your kind attention to this matter. Edit: from your response below, you have confirmed that you're not interested in permitting patients to make contact in order that their concerns be heard. Thank you. This review and other others like it have now become a cautionary tale for other patients.

I have had major withdrawals from not being able to get my medicine each month. I've missed a ton of work and missed out on big family events due to not being able to get them .Because it's a controlled substance they only give me one mo th at a time. I always gI've them 10 days notice when I'm going to run out. I leave messages, I talk to people at the front desk directly and It still doesn't get called into the pharmacy. This most recent time , I left a voicemail 10 days before my prescription ran out. Then I left another voicemail a few days later. this past Monday I called and spoke to someone at the desk. still nothing. I called again today and the lady says I need to be seen every 6 months to follow up on these meds . No one has ever told me that. It has been 6.5 months since my last visit . All the times I've called over the past 2 weeks and I'm just now hearing this? No call back, nothing. Keep in mind this is for narcolepsy and my follow up appointments take about 2 min because they have no idea what I've been through the past 10 years with this diagnosis. they aren't trained for sleep disorders. They charge an arm and a leg to say " how's it working" I tell them "great" and then it's over. $$$$$$ out the door for absolutely no reason. Do not go here. The lack of care for the individual patient is ridiculous. I shouldn't have to go without meds because they don't do their job correctly.

She is down to earth, patient, has a great bedside manner, and tells it to you straight. She was the only one who could help me at the hospital when I had some weird pregnancy complications. Clinic wise, the front desk staff at this location is friendly. In all my visits (there were probably close to 30) I only had a long wait one time and it was because the doctor got caught up with a complicated case. Front desk staff I have never had to wait to check in. Never had any issues with billing here. Nurses are great here. Would love to also switch to getting my PCP here but as with all practices the wait time for new patients is months out.
