Do not go here if you need an X-ray. My trip there was a waste of time and money. The people are nice, but they use Health Images for their X-rays. Health images takes 3-5 business days for their X-rays. I had to go to a different urgent care and pay out of pocket so I could get my X-rays faster (10 minutes compared to 3-5 business days). 2 stars for nice staff. read more

I scheduled an appointment three days ago. I verified the appointment. I did the paperwork online. I checked in online before the appointment time. I even got the notification texts saying I was all checked in and would be seen soon. NOBODY WAS IN THE OFFICE! I was there 15 minutes before the appointment. The appointment was at 10am. The door says they're open 8am to 8pm. I knocked on the door. No answer. I called 8 times. The line was never picked up. I looked at the online "active wait time," which said that nobody had walked in, and I was the only one scheduled for an appointment. It said there should be no wait time. I waited for more than an hour, and none of the employees showed up. I watched at least 7 other people attempt to get in, and end up having to drive away. This was a time-sensitive, WORKERS COMP appointment, which was scheduled DAYS IN ADVANCE. Now, I have to try to get in somewhere else, in order to be rechecked to see if I'm cleared to go back to work. This was a horrible waste of time, gas, and energy, and I will be notifying the insurance company, willing to provide photographic evidence that I did not miss this appointment intentionally if Next Care Urgent Care tries to charge them for a missed appointment! read more

We came to this urgent care, as our preferred one was closed. What a Run Around. They took our money, just to refer us to another place where we had to spend more money. The company we were referred to for X-rays sent them the report, and instead of emailing us the report and referral to an orthopedic, said we had to physically come pick it up, citing we did not give them a email address, even though we did, and I have proof, because I received a spam email from them today thanking me for our visit! To top it off, when we went to get the report so we could go to an orthopedic, they stopped us, saying they splint the injury wrong and re-splint it. I will never go back here. I visited NextCare on E Hampden Ave in Aurora, CO today (3-26-23) at 3:10 pm. I let the receptionist know that I had a possible UTI. She asked if I had an appointment. I said I did not knowing that this site advertised "walk ins accepted". She informed me that I would not be able to see a practitioner because I did not have an appointment. The site does not close until 4:00. There were no patients in the waiting area at this time. I asked again and and she again said no. I have used this location on other occasions with no issue. I am so disappointed and annoyed by the refusal of services! What is the point of advertising walk ins at an urgent care facility if they won't accept patients with urgent medical needs that do not warrant a trip to the emergency room?? read more

I went in on 1/31 for a nasty cold and ear ache. I told them I tested negative for Covid at home, so they felt no need to retest, which I realized they should have done after I read more about testing. Antigen/at home tests provide false results way more than a PCR/in office test. Additionally, they only tested me for strep, no flu test or anything when I'm showing clear symptoms of the flu. They didn't even send my strep test for a culture, which I've never seen an office do. I've had strep a ton in my life and it is ALWAYS sent for a culture by my other doctors. Will not be returning as I was rushed out of there and felt as though the care was extremely lacking compared to other urgent cares in the area. read more

NextCare Urgent Care is or place of choice. ++ Everyone is so incredibly nice and friendly from the techs to the doctors. ++ They accept many different insurance plans! Plus they bill them directly and just collect your patient portion. ++ Wait times can vary, but we've never waited over and hour to be seen. ++ Weekday hours from 8am to 8pm and weekend hours from 9am to 4pm give plenty of time for emergency non-life-threatening issues to be looked at. While I never wish for an urgent care visit, I rest easy knowing we have NextCare Urgent Care nearby. read more

So i called next care before making an appointment to tell them what was going on and i had told them i had a cyst somewhere you needed an ultrasound machine (which i didn't know they didn't have), the lady and i were going back forward she was explaining to me that they can drain the cyst etc etc well the day comes up for my appointment i go in i get seen by the nurse very basic things asked and then i see the doctor the doctor also asked me very few question about my cyst pressed on my stomach asked if hurts that took her about like maybe 3 min then she says well if you have a cyst we would not be able to check here because we don't have a ultrasound! I was baffled! She then proceeds to go get a paper with other places i could go to, whole time im thinking in my head why didn't the lady i called on the phone tell me that they wouldn't be able to check if i had a cyst because they didn't have an ultrasound.... so i go up to the front desk and the girl tells me i have to pay 300! Dollars for basically walking around their office and being asked questions i tried to explain to her why I shouldn't pay that because I called ahead of time and asked about the cyst where I need a ultrasound and why nobody told me to go somewhere else first and then come to nextcare for it to be drained. I told her I couldn't pay today and she made me sign a paper that won't let me get treatment anywhere else until I pay them!! ... Anyways, I am just so frustrated with this office because it felt like I was being scammed!!! read more

This is the second time I've tried to get an appointment on a Saturday. The first Saturday, I was able to check-in online however when I showed up nobody was there and the facility seemed to be shut down. The second Saturday, I booked an appointment 8 hrs in advance online and was confirmed to come in. Only to find out they had no doctor available and I would need to do an online visit. Was not notified before showing up that my appointment would need to be rescheduled and they couldn't see me for certain issues. Terrible customer service and no courtesy for people who are in pain. I should have read the reviews first. 1.5 Stars, you know this place is not good. I thought it was odd the place could get me right in with no other patients. There was only one patient in the office, me. This place was a ghost town probably because of the service others have received in the past. They will never go back. Save yourself the wasted time and visit WebMD with your symptoms, and you will get a better analysis of your issue. I recommend finding a place with a real doctor and getting care, not just bad advice. After here, I went to a real doctor, and the analysis was completely different from this terrible office. When you respond with some form letter comment stating: "I'm sorry to hear about your negative experience at our clinic. We strive to provide exceptional service to all patients, and I'm disappointed you left unsatisfied. Please know that we value your feedback and will use it to better our services. I went with a complaint of severe pain on the right side of entire head. The provider said "I think it's a sinus infection" and prescribed an antibiotic. The "think" did not leave me with a warm fuzzy and I thought it strange to affect only one side. After a couple days, my right eyelid began to swell. I called the facility back and I asked if I should come in and was told they instead would just call in a different antibiotic to my pharmacy. The next day the right side of my face had a rash. I went to a different urgent care and was told I have a severe case of shingles. Having had shingles on my side before which was immediately diagnosed and treated as such, it was cured before a rash even developed. read more

If I could give this place negative stars I would. Do not come here! This place is absolutely awful. If you must go to an urgent care, make the extra drive and go anywhere else. When I arrived, I was greeted with a sneer and then complete disregard. The receptionist was unfriendly and unwelcoming. I work in healthcare so I know the routine and had my ID and insurance card ready and I stood there for 10 minutes before she even acknowledged that I was standing right in front of her. I waited about 30 minutes before I was taken back as there was another patient ahead of me. When I was taken back the MA seemed new but she was by far the most pleasant of everyone and that's not saying a lot. After she asked the basic questions and took my vitals she took me to my exam room which I waited another 15 minutes in. Meanwhile I heard everything that was going on in the workroom and the other exam rooms. The doctor was short and lacked bedside manner. He did not seem to care about his patients at all and treated their concerns as though they were just being dramatic. What really disgusted me was the comment he made to the MA when he was in the work room. He said "Did you gag them? I hope you gagged them real good." Referring to streptococcus swabs. The way he said it sounded like some young frat boy in the locker room with his buddies. Afterwards he entered my exam room and he was definitely too old to be acting like that and a person in that profession definitely should never behave that way at work or otherwise. I wish I had walked out from the moment I heard him make that comment because he gave me the creepiest vibe. He didn't care about why I was there, could not diagnose my problem, honestly I doubted he could, I just needed the test to be done, then he sent me on my way with no solution. The doctor should have his license revoked and he should have to attend classes on proper workplace behavior. I was completely disgusted with the whole experience. I will never go back to this urgent care ever again. A waste of money and time. read more

Let me start from the beginning. I made an online appt, and my listed reason for my visit was incredibly embarrassing and personal. When I got there the woman at the front desk asked me out loud in front of the entire lobby what I was going to be tested for. Clearly ashamed she thought it would be better to pull me behind the door and ask me. Then she pulled a male nurse aside during our conversation to ask about the cost and how the procedure went. I filled out my paperwork and was taken back. When I was seen by the Dr, Rahal Gebremeskel she was moving 1000 miles a second and barely let me get a word in. She didnt spend anytime letting me explain the symptoms I was experiencing or the pain I was in. She consistently was running in and out of the room and her procedure was totally unorganized. At one point she told me to pull my pants down and roll over so she could inspect my privates and during the process brought a male nurse into the room. Why was he even there??? She spent all of 2 seconds examining the area, just to tell me she couldn't identify the symptom I was experiencing. If she had spent ANY time with me trying to understand my symptoms she would have known they weren't visible at first glance. She ran out of the room after this and ran back in to check my breathing. She asked that I take a few deep breaths, and after having taken a half a breath she had moved on to shining a light in my eyes. It took them 20 minutes to figure out my discharge information while I waited in the exam room. They left the door open while I waited, occasionally asking me questions from out in the hallway. Eventually they moved me back up front to continue waiting for my discharge information. It was unprofessional, impersonal, rushed, and I cannot reccomend anyone go here after this. For the amount of pain I was in and severeness of my symptoms, I cannot believe I actually paid for this experience. read more

Its not easy for him to just jump in the car and go, he has had quadruple bypass, a few stents, added to this, but he went. They had told him to just text when he arrived, which he did. They did not respond to his text, when he called they did not pick up, he texted numerous times. He's not the first person I've heard address concerns about this location. Went there for an injured knee. The only people on site were a Physician assistant and a receptionist. Neither of which could provide any assistance other than to charge me for a visit just like the Physician was actually there and saw me. All I got was a referral to another place for an X-ray. I have never had such horrible care or been so disappointed in a medical care situation. We drove over an hour to get rapid results for a covid-19 test. After two weeks we still do not have the written results. I asked for them to be emailed but since it is not possible I was asking for it to be faxed to the primary care dr and the woman on the line spoke over and said my line was crackling and she wouldn't answer me and hung up. I called the next day to ask for it to be faxed to primary care dr and they said they would when they were able to in a few days. A week later we still don't have the results and now they are saying that the dr office needs to fax a request. I called to speak to the customer liaison and you have to leave a message and get a call back up to three days later. It is ridiculous. This is a horrible company and I would NEVER use them again. read more

I went in to the Tower and Hampden location, and Billiejean was awesomesauce at its finest!!! I fought a fence and cut my arm, and since I'm on blood thinners it would not stop bleeding. Billiejean cleaned me up, gave me some snacks to make me not so dizzy and sick to my stomach. She made me feel so comfortable while I was in so much pain. Xrays were painful, but she had me covered the whole time. I truly recommend that if you need urgent care, go to this location!!! Everyone is always friendly, professional, and make sure you understand what's happening. The totally rock!!! read more

If I could give negative stars, I would. I made an appointment for my son who is sick, last Thursday 3-23-2023. The earliest appointment for 4pm. I showed up at 4 pm and waited for about 20 mins to be seen. The receptionist then came out to inform us that the provider was running about 45 mins behind. About 20 more mins pass and she informs us again that the provider is unable to see any more patients for the entire day and that we just needed to come back tomorrow. She acted like it was no big deal and treated us as if we were all very unimportant ( there was 3 other patients waiting). I left and drove my son to Children's Hospital Emergency Room. He ended up being RSV positive and spent 2 of the 4 days he was in the hospital in the PICU. If we would have waited and "just came back tomorrow" as your receptionist said, who knows what would have happened. Your staff should be trained on how to talk to people like they are real humans and not just numbers in your system and also have a little bit of empathy when presenting bad news. She acted like she could have cared less. I will never return to your facility and I will make sure to let everyone who asks me know to stay far away from your "business". Also no need to respond with your very generic "we are sorry about your negative experience and always strive for exceptional service" spiel. Very robotic and again your lack of empathy continues throughout your entire organization. read more

Don't go to this urgent care because they will send you to an ER every single time. Our pediatrician has recommended this place twice. The first time for my son's seizure after effects (seizure had already passed) - that time they swore he was still having a seizure and sent us to the ER via ambulance. Bill was through the roof. This time we came in for my infant son to check a rash because again the pediatrician recommended this place. I was hesitant because of the last experience but the other location was over 20 miles away. I walk in and explain the situation and the front desk person goes to the back for less than 2 minutes and comes back and directs us to the ER.... FOR A RASH??!! WTH? I told her our pediatrician recommended an urgent care not an ER. She replies with a smart mouthed comeback - well my provider is a doctor and he said ER. So there you have it folks "her provider" is able to give a full diagnosis without even seeing the patient - regular Doctor Strange, Professor X skills straight out of the comic books. My advice? If you want to contribute to the money scam they have going on here - go for it you will end up in damn ER anyway even if it's a splinter. If you want true CARE from a physician who will actually look at you - go somewhere else. read more

I've had a horrible ear infection and they made sure I was okay. My doctor, Meredith is fantastic & called me back to make sure everything was okay. The antibiotics I got at first did not react well with me, so I called NextCare's general phone number (& yes, I did have to wait on hold for a while, but that's expected) & they got everything sorted out. Unfortunately, my primary care doctor did not have anything available until 3 weeks out, so I came to this Urgent Care. I've been to this place a few times in the past 3 years and I've never had any problems. This time my experience was different. I was denied care because I was not on Medicaid. They said they wouldn't see any other "kind of" patients until January. She said they might be able to make an exception if I schedule an appointment (next available time, two weeks out)! So if you are fortunate enough to be fully employed and have insurance through your employer you will NOT receive care at this location until January. Yes! That is correct. Thankfully, another urgent care took me in no problems! I will not be going back here anymore. It's absolutely horrible to feel so crappy and denied healthcare when you already pay skyrocket deductibles. read more

They took my blood for testing twice during one visit and never got back to me with the results. They never even gathered results or gave me a after care summary or chart notes which I requested twice through their hotline (since a direct number is not available). I still haven't received the requested visit notes. After calling them four or five times over the course of several days, they finally got back to me and said that they did the wrong test and because they put me on a certain prescription, I would have to stop taking it for two weeks in order to be able to test again, the correct way. Seen 8/13/22. Finally got a response 8/22/22 after I made three phone calls (just today) and left a voicemail (after demanding a direct phone number from the hotline to this location). Wrong test, unable to diagnose, now have to wait 2 weeks for a proper test when I should be diagnosed or have things ruled out by now.... Malpractice. They were incredibly understaffed, incompetent, and disorganized. If this location is so busy, then hire more staff. I hope this urgent care can pull themselves together, because they are fallen apart. read more

After being taken back for his initial vitals and being put in a room, the physician still didn't come after 30 minutes. When I asked a nurse how long it was it going to be, the physician was no where near down on a previous patient. I got a refund and left. I was told at 11am that I was 3rd in line, which I didn't think sounded like a long time. They take your payment when your arrive so, you're kinda stuck. I work during the day so, I thought signing in online would reduce the wait time, but apparently that's not the case. I would not recommend this facility to anyone. This is the worst urgent care! Extremely unpleasant staff (receptionist, medical assistants) the FNP Julie was the only pleasant one I have encountered. The wait time is long and unnecessary! I waited almost forty minutes to get taken to the back, where there was only 1 other patient. Once in the back I waited another 20 minutes to see an actual provider. Maybe they would be more efficient if they didn't stand around talking to one another The girl who just tested me for flu stabbed me in the nostril, 5 minutes later it still hurts on that side. The staff is uncompassionate, uncaring and flat out rude. I'm in health care and would never interact with patients with such a flat affect!!! With a dozen urgent care facilities in a few mile radius you would think they would need to compete to keep patients.
