ENGAGEMENT RING SETTING I bought a diamond online and needed to find a place to create the setting and set the stone. I went to the Woodbridge Jewelry exchange first (don't waste your time), I did not have the intention of buying my setting from there, just wanted some inspiration. I then perused a bunch of places, read yelp review, google reviews, ext. Tried a bunch of places in the area. It was not until a few failed attempts that I landed at the Jewelry Design Gallery. THIS IS WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW: No place in the area can match this place in quality, price, overall great customer service, and HONESTY. Quality. I saw countless settings and no workmanship came close to the setting they designed and created. (even the paper they print their receipts on is quality). I got a very thin french pave setting and the diamonds on the band are all brilliant cut and sparkle like crazy. Price. The price they gave me was cheaper than any price i got at the woodbridge jewlery exchange and could easily compete with online prices. Customer Service. I worked with Tyler in designing my ring, he was patient, knowledgeable and just overall a nice person. Honesty. Once we decided on a setting, Tyler said he would send me some computer generate designs of the setting with small variations to ensure I got exactly what I wanted. They gave me a price, which I thought was a VERY good price for what I was purchasing. I was sold. Thereafter, I got the email for Tyler with the three variations in design and he also said "sorry, I misquoted you" the boss "thought you were getting 2 pointers instead of 1 pointer side diamonds, so the price is actually [cheaper]..." HOLY COW. I was sold on the slightly higher price and thought it was a bargain and he corrected and gave me a lower price--absolutely outstanding! They sent it out to their Master Repair person... I paid $48.00 to have it repaired... I wore it twice & the Winder fell off once again... I wrote to them & they never returned my email... I just picked up my wedding band which needed to be resized. This was a very delicate given to my grandmother 80 years ago. It was very important to me that my grandparents initials and marriage date not be affected by the ring sizing. I cannot explain how absolutely thrilled I am with the job they did. My ring looks perfect and I am very happy to see that my grandparents information wasn't disturbed. If I could give 10 stars I would I highly recommend this business. Will update to say about a month after this a stone fell out of my ring, which I think was a direct result of having the ring resized. Like I said it was an 80 year old ring. Next, we designed the engagement ring from start to finish, with every detail being personalized and customized. Jeweler Design Gallery helped make the perfect ring for my fiancé. From the moment I stepped into the store Drew Tyler and Al went over the top to make sure this was a fluid process and to ensure our dream ring became a reality. On my first visit I sat down with Drew and showed him pictures of rings I had seen and liked. He was extremely patient, taking as much time as I needed to show me similar rings, enhance my ideas and provide further design options. We ended up going with an oval stone, single halo and a very elaborate gallery (something I had never seen before). They then created a digital design of the ring and showed me a picture of what it would look like. Then they did a 3D print of the design so I was able to hold the designed rings and see exactly what I would be getting from all angles. I actually broke the 3D printed ring and they whooped up a new one in a day with no questions asked. They've been in constant contact with me throughout the process emailing me updates regularly. When I was called in to pick out a diamond, they had 12 that matched the weight and quality I requested. Drew explained what to look for in a diamond and allowed me to scrutinize each diamond to my liking. We discussed how much I was able to spend and Drew helped maximize the value of the ring (we even stayed under budget!) When I received the finished ring I was blown away, it exceeded my expectations. The 3D print and digital picture couldn't even do it justice. My fiancé still can't believe how amazing the ring turned out. We continue to get compliments every day, her friends are in awe over the ring. Drew is the man! I was so nervous going in to buy my fiancé her ring. Drew reassured me he could create the ring of my choosing. I remember her seeing a ring from Tiffany (naturally overpriced) that she fell in love with. Coming in with a photo of the style ring he informed me he can make it look exact. Not only did he make it look exact, I explained some things I wanted different and he made it better than the photo sent ! He also kept me in on the whole process , emailing me photos of updates. I brought my Tiffany watch in for a battery they charged $80 because they said it needed to be water sealed, a month later the watch stopped working so I brought it out to Tiffany in Red Bank, they had to send it out because they couldn't open the watch because of the way it had been sealed, I got it back and Tiffany put in a new battery because the battery was obviously not replaced with a new one even though I paid $80. Tiffany usually charges only $35 for a battery but didn't charge me a cent because they have great customer service. I also brought a ring in here that was a gift to be sized and the sales man told me it was a cheap ring. It was a gift who says that. I'll never go in here again. read more

We met Al and Tyler who were both warm, personable and very professional. They made us so comfortable during our first experience, that we decided to give them a try with making a Diamond engagement ring into a pendant as well modify a heart pendant and chain. Al, Tyler and the team did an awesome job on both pieces! Such a good job, I decided to have them make a custom LOVE lariat necklace for my "Love" for Christmas. Tyler took a photo I gave him and sample costume piece during a very busy Holiday season and delivered again! They did a great job! We love this place, it is warm, they offer snacks :) while you wait and browse, they are exemplary professionals and genuinely nice people who do honest great work.
