Their specialist said it was not the battery the watch needed to be overhauled and would cost $1000 which didn't make sense since that was the original cost of the watch. They said if not it is just an expensive paper weight. A friend recommended John at Wayzata jewelers. Instead, he explained simply and clearly that gold mixed in the UK has different properties which make its color slightly different from US gold. He then offered to custom mix the gold for my ring and make enough to create my husband's ring, too - thus making a standard gold band something special. My husband and I are thrilled with the outcome of Brian's work. I have gotten so many compliments on the ingenuity of the design and the beautiful simplicity of its shape.
