The only reason I was late was due to massive construction at USU (where I worked, which I warned her of), which you could not predict, and I was only 10 minutes late both times. She claims I was 15+ minutes late but I was not. In any case, she had time to do them, but refused stating she had another customer coming too soon. (She had always done my nails in slightly over an hour, she had time. And she never would've booked someone that quick after me, there wasn't time even if I was on time.) Plus, I rearranged my schedule, often last minute, for her trips and family stuff. This was 2 days before leaving for my 20th anniversary trip to Turks & Caicos, which she knew! This place is right next to Angie's diner and the parking is located in the back. I called on Monday midday and had an appointment for a trim with Deyanira on Wednesday. After my trim and our conversation I decided to book another appointment to get some highlights to hide my grey/white. I was able to make an appointment for Friday and it was nothing but enjoyable. I LOVE my artist and she really listed to what I wanted and made it happen. The shop is nice as well and they have complementary water and coffee out in the open in front. As soon as I entered, I was greeted, and offered a drink as I was picking out a color. I think that they have read everyone's reviews and have made a conscious effort to step up their customer service game. WAN did AMAZING. He took his time getting the perfect shape of my nails. He helped address my concerns of my nails growing out crooked and even built them back up in a way so that they looked straight. Not too thin, not too thick, perfect acrylic application. He took his time to build up the apex, making sure I didn't get the dreaded flat acrylic nails. I believe I paid about 50 dollars after a tip, which I think is fair considering the quality service I received. I will definitely be coming back!! Give La Nails a chance and don't let bad reviews from 6 years ago scare you away!!
