I have been seeing Jennifer for many years and then Covid hit and you all know the story! Well...it took me up until last week to get back on track with my self-care routine that I've done for years. My facials were neglected and needless to say, I knew it was time to see Jennifer. No matter how well I thought I was taking care of my skin, it slowly began to show it wasn't responding well to what I was doing. I kept looking in the mirror thinking "I look tired" or "I need a mask" or "I need a facial scrub". I think you get my drift! Not that I wasn't planning on getting back on track, but I didn't make the time to take care of "me". My daughter gave me a gift certificate for Christmas and off I went! Important note here: Part of my skin looking awful was because I started getting red patches, itchy, dry and of course I chalked it up to "eh.....it is what it is!". But NO!! It isn't "is what it is", it was NEGLECT!! Ladies and gentlemen, when I showed up for my appointment, Jennifer was waiting for me like a hungry wolf. She couldn't wait to dermaplane that nastiness right off my face followed by a chemical peel and all of the other steps she does that WOKE my skin up! My skin literally was glowing by the time I left. No lie! She sent me home with the proper products for my condition. She told me if it didn't improve by my next appointment, she was going to suggest a dermatologist. Well, guess what? After the facial and using the products she recommended to correct my skin's condition, within one day I saw a HUGE improvement. I am back on track with my monthly appointments and plan to keep going. Taking care of myself because nobody else will. An important bit of information about Jennifer: prior to doing what she does today, she worked in the burn unit of a hospital so she goes after your skin based upon what she sees going on. I just had my first appointment with Jennifer and she is amazing! I met Jennifer a couple of years ago through our children and knew she was an esthetician, but because I had been going somewhere else, was hesitant to make an appointment with her out of loyalty to "my other girl"!! I finally decided to give Jennifer a try after speaking with her and realizing she was not just "another esthetician".
