His team showed up promptly and spent half a day cutting, chipping, stacking the logs neatly and cleaning up the entire work area. This was a major and risky 3 large tree removal job tight between two houses. They took amazing care of the properties and brought in significant equipment to make the job as easy as possible, for a not-easy job! They not only performed skillful and flawlessly, but they went as far as preserving very close ornamental trees! It top it off, they not only cleaned up all of the mess from both properties, including decks, etc. but they also blew all of the leaves from each yard and took it all away!! The first time was when I needed red oak floors toned down to match white oak floors in an adjoining room. Hermes used a specialty product that he custom formulates for your specific floors, and he gladly adjusted samples until I was completely satisfied. He created the perfect match, and more than four years later, my red oak floors still look amazing. I recently called Hermes again to correct a job done by my contractor's flooring sub. They had installed new white oak floors and refinished them, but the finished result was full of debris, bubbles, sander marks, and uneven wavy patterns that they blamed on "bad subflooring." I needed the floors redone properly, so I called Hermes for help. Within 36 hours, he had his crew here, and they corrected every single issue. The floors are now flawless -- smooth, clean, perfectly finished, and not a speck of debris anywhere. What impressed me even more was Hermes himself. Despite cleaning up another company's mistakes, he never said a single negative word about them. The only thing he said was, "We all have different ways of doing things." The house was left very clean. Most or all of the crew did not speak English, so they basically focused on their job. They were not unfriendly, they just could not communicate with me. They did have cell phones and if I had a question, they called the owner. It was finished in a timely manner and the end result was quite good.
