The rental itself went smoothly, and the vehicle was returned on time and inspected by an employee who confirmed everything was fine at check-in. There were no issues raised at the time of return. 7 Weeks later long after I had returned the car I received a damage claim alleging that there was damage to the vehicle along with administrative fees, and additional charges in the amount of over $1500. The funny part is that the inspection that was performed 7 week after I had returned the vehicle and 800 miles away from my return location. This has to be the biggest scam ever, think about how many customers they do this to. Sure they offer low rental fees but now I see why, as a customer, this is extremely concerning. Once I returned the car and it was inspected and accepted at return, I reasonably expect the transaction to be finished. Receiving a significant bill 7 weeks later, is just unacceptable. I strongly recommend that anyone renting from Sixth rental car, also if you do rent, make sure to document the vehicle carefully at pickup and return and make sure they sign that there was no damages to the vehicle., also take photos and video, and keep all records even after the rental is closed. Would be zero stars if Yelp allowed it.

    Forgot to write a review until now. We rented a car in June. I rented through Capital One Venture…read more website and accidentally booked a full electric vehicle, not a Tesla. Their other shitty one where you can't find a compatible charger- the Kia. It was my mistake. We immediately saw the car and went back to the front desk to ask for another car. They said it was an "upgrade" and they'll credit what we paid for the electric vehicle to another gas car. There wasn't any credit and we saw that we just paid full car rental price, which was a rip off, extra $50 on top of what we already paid. I checked online and should have just booked online and gotten a refund for current booking. They totally rip you off at the front if you want to change cars or rent a car. Better to do it through a third party vendor. We made sure to return with full gas and took pictures of everything.

I would strongly caution anyone who is relying on a specific vehicle type to think carefully before booking here. We reserved a 4-wheel-drive vehicle several months in advance because it was essential for our trip. Despite having a confirmed reservation, upon arrival we were told there were no vehicles available and that our booking would not be honored. The desk agent, Alejandro, stated they were fully booked and could not provide the class of vehicle we had reserved. We spent several hours waiting at the counter trying to resolve the situation. When we finally spoke with a manager, the response was the same: the reserved vehicle was "not available". At no point did we feel there was any real effort to prioritize or rectify a reservation that had been made well in advance. In the end, we were given a lower-class vehicle that did not meet our needs, and we were forced to disrupt our trip later to exchange it for an appropriate one. This resulted in a significant loss of time at the start of our trip and added unnecessary stress and inconvenience. A confirmed reservation should mean something. In this case, it did not. The lack of accountability, poor communication, and failure to provide even a comparable alternative at the outset reflects a serious breakdown in basic customer service.     Rating: 1 out of 5 Stars…read more A family member purchased a used car from this dealership in San Jose on 11/11. It was advertised as a "clean clean" vehicle that "only needed an alignment." The price was $4,000 cash, not including taxes and fees. THE FRAUD & SAFETY ISSUE: Immediately after purchase, I took the car to an independent mechanic for the alignment. The mechanic found the vehicle to be unsafe and unroadworthy, requiring over $6,000 in safety-critical repairs, including: Three wheels were severely bent/warped. All tires needed immediate replacement. The front struts were blown out. The engine had a serious oil leak. THE DEALERSHIP'S RESPONSE: When I presented Lux Auto Sales with the detailed, written repair estimate, they refused to take the car back. They claimed the vehicle was sold "AS IS," ignoring the fact that California law prohibits licensed dealers from knowingly misrepresenting a vehicle's condition or selling an unsafe vehicle (Vehicle Code § 24007). Their only offer was a suspicious $1,700 repair through their own shop, which does not even cover the cost of the necessary safety parts. ACTION TAKEN: As a result of this fraudulent misrepresentation, I have taken the following official actions: A formal demand for rescission of the contract and a full $4,000 refund has been asked of management. A formal complaint has been filed with the California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) Investigations Division regarding dealer fraud. A complaint has been filed with the Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR). I am currently filing a lawsuit in Santa Clara County Small Claims Court to recover the full purchase price and costs. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP. They misrepresented the condition of an unsafe vehicle and refused to resolve the matter legally. They count on buyers not knowing their rights.

My company provided janitorial services and they owe me for 5 months of service and breaking the contract early. Everything is documented and have all legal proof. I hope you see this Travis and the suit I'm filing by Friday April 3rd if you don't reach out the pay what you legally owe. Also look at section 7 of the contract where you will be responsible for all my legal costs and damages as well.
