Went there and picked out what I thought was a decent tire for 50 bucks. I was having this put on in St. Louis when I got my new tires put on. After I paid and before leaving I noticed the rubber around the rim area was damaged and decided that I did not want to get a used tire. I pointed out the damaged area and said I want my money back. I explained I am getting this put on in St. Louis and if there is an issue as it is damaged, I'm out the money. They would not refund my money. First they told me you can't get a refund...and I was like I have not left the shop. The tire is right there. They then said that they don't know how to do a refund and I have to pick a different used tire. I was like no I want a refund, I don't want a used tire as they seem damaged. They called the owner and then told me nope no refund pick a different tire. Well I picked what looked like the best one(only had 2 left to pick from for the size) and was like this is not ok. So had my new tires put on in STL and they guy at Walmart said I can't put this on your car/spare as it is dry rotted and not a viable tire. So 50 bucks for a tire I did not want because they wouldn't give me a refund and it's a dry rotted tire. Will be going back to demand my money back again.

The end result was mediocre, noted that he only had a cellphone light. Would be helpful to equip your business with adequate lightning to inspect your work. One car still had dog slobber all over the back windows. If you are going to charge someone extra, please reflect that quality of work in your detailing. Edit: Owner calls and leave voicemail about my review. He does not agree that he needed to have a flashlight when there is one on his cellphone. I apologize, in the future I hope I can provide a more well lit space for this service. Owner offered to comeback and clean windows, however I have no desire of receive additional services from this company. Just please stop calling me.

I like many others I suspect today, am a very busy individual. Which is likely the reason many of us just do not find the time to write a review when it is positive. It is far easier to take the time to write about a negative experience. Well today I am taking of my very limited time and writing a positive review. Especially, as it is so richly deserved. The team at Bear and Son Automotive Repair located at 2612 S. Springfield in Bolivar are top notch and without question a cut above! They might not be one of the big companies out there but I promise you what they will do in so far as quality of service, full in complete communication and total customer satisfaction is GIGANTIC! And yet, it is readily identifiable that their intent and desire IS NOT to charge as much as is humanly possible. Like we were recently experiencing elsewhere. Quite the opposite. It really all starts with Kandis. She is at the front desk when you enter their office. I believe she wakes up every day with the goal of making a difference with anyone in need of their services. I know that is exactly what she did for us! They do not just quote a cost for something but they actually provided us with pictures as to why the cost. Something I will never forget is at the end of everything as I was complimenting them, Kandis saying "We always take care of our customers." It wasn't calculated or simply stated. I could tell it was heartfelt and obviously something they all make every possible attempt to accomplish. I just can not say enough about Bear and Son Automotive Repair.
