I have been here three times this week just trying to get a quick oil change. Yesterday they were short staffed I guess and today there are still only two. It's so disappointing to watch work waiting and a man taking his "office" duties to the maximum level. Come on dude you need to be out here helping like everyone else does here and move these cars out of here. I understand needing approvals but sitting in there for 30 minutes is insane. "Time will tell" is an oft-used phrase that proves to be entirely true for better or worse. I took our 2017 Kia Sorrento to this Jiffy Lube location April 30, 2022 for an oil change and paid $75 for synthetic oil and oil filter replacement. The invoice reflects both were changed and I took it upon faith that the work was executed professionally. As our car doesn't get heavy mileage put on it and we work from home, our vehicle can go many months before a subsequent oil change is needed. Or, in our case, before a check engine light comes on and when checking the dipstick to find out there was no oil at all registering on the dipstick on a drive home from taking our family to a Christmas break activity. The horror that can go through one's mind when that dreaded check engine light comes on is enough to make anyone cringe and become instantly worried about a repair bill spiraling out of control. A blown engine, a recently paid off vehicle being damaged beyond repair, the headache of new car shopping in a dealer-friendly market, rising interest rates for new auto financing... the mind wanders off to dark places when that light comes on. So when you check the engine oil and it's virtually non-existent, you make an emergency late-night trip to Walmart and top off the oil hoping you car can limp home long enough to assess the damage filled with worry and concern and those overwhelming negative emotions creep in one wave after another. And then you make it home. And you feel only a slight amount of relief you arrived but you automatically enter fact-finding mode. Oil leaks? None found. Not from the filter, not from the plug, nowhere to be seen. No leak is no leak, right? But what does that mean? Is the engine burning oil? Did that Jiffy Lube you took your car to many months ago actually put oil in your car? Did they do the job right? Then you find the oil filter on your car has a date stamp on it from 09/07/2020. No branding anywhere to be found, the filter is black and the only identifiable mark is that 2+year old manufacturing code. Then you compare the filter to the oil filter Jiffy Lube claims to have used, and the two look absolutely nothing alike at all. Suddenly you realize you paid Jiffy Lube $75 for an oil and filter change they didn't actually perform and in fact straight up lied to your face about doing. It's in black and white on the receipt you have on your invoice. You were suckered. Then you call up and speak to the manager of the Jiffy Lube and he says "no one who worked here in April still works here, even I am new and the old manager is long gone." and you don't care about that, because service should have been done right and if your car is beyond repair then who's going to accept responsibility for this fraud? The new manager, Carlos, tells you that you can call the corporate number on the back of the receipt but "good luck with that" because also on the back of the receipt is their policy that warranties the service they performed for no more than 3,000 miles or 3 months after service, whichever comes first. And he adds insult to injury and says "Corporate is not going to do anything to help you but you can call anyway." And that is that. A company that won't stand by its work, that doesn't care what happens after they take your money and that performs poor if not downright negligent service, and whose corporate number on the back of the receipt never actually rings anyway when you try to call and is stuck in a permahell busy signal loop. Don't do business with ANY Jiffy Lube at all, and especially not with this location. Lord have mercy on you if you do. But for goodness sakes, if you do, at least make them prove they actually did the work they claim to AT THE TIME OF SERVICE. Don't even leave the parking lot until you can verify the work was completed properly. Otherwise, you'll be the one on the hook when your car's check engine light comes on. These guys don't have any accountability nor sense of responsibility. read more

I am a firm believer in second chances, so I gave this Jiffy Lube another try. Tammy was very cordial and as she was taking my info I explained the bad review from my previous experience. She apologized and assured me that is not typical of the way they treat customers. She then proceeded to supervise my oil/filter change and as expected I received the service I had always had with Jiffy Lube. She made it right for me. Lesson learned. If you are unsatisfied with service from a service organization, let them know politely and chances are you will be, once again, a happy customer. I have been a customer with Jiffy Lube for several years and prefer using our local folks for any type of service. Two weeks ago I got a spark plug change, spent $190. My first road trip up to Phoenix, I got 33 MPG instead of the 39-41 MPG I usually get. I called the location that I have been going to for years and your folks gave me some BS about bad gas. Your folks didn't even say bring it in. Let us check it. Nothing, NADA. I am more than pissed off. I will never go to that location again. I called on a Friday to get my transmission fluid changed. They said the transmission guy was going home pretty soon so come in Monday. I had a friend get up at 7 am to follow me down to the store on Monday only to be told it's transmission guys day off, come back Tuesday. Had someone follow me down again Tuesday morning and left car. 30 minutes later I get a call telling me they can't change fluid because transmission guy can't find the tranny dipstick. It's hard to find in my 2014 Nissan Versa Note. I told them where it was and they asked me to come back down and show them. So I had friend drive me back down there and I pointed out where it is. You can't easily see the dipstick in the Versa Note. You need to remove a few things to be able to get to it. {There are several different ways to get to it involving moving different things for example the battery and battery holder } The tranny guy looked at it for a few minutes and said he did not want to do it. I was surprised as the charge was way over $300 to change it. I had told them to change my oil while they were working on car. They quoted me $65 for the oil change. When I went to pay for my oil change it cost $109. I looked at receipt and it showed $65 charge for oil change and a $45 dollar that only said " untaxable" as a reason for the charge. I was upset since they could not do my transmission and did not look at my receipt until I got home. I called and asked what the additional $45 dollar charge was for and was told I would have to call back the next day and have the manager explain it to me. What's that all about. I did not complain or anything I just asked what it was for. No one knew. I call the manager tomorrow. I would not take my car back there to even get something as simple as air in my tires. Terrible service, the people were friendly but not very knowledgable. They did not seem to want to help a customer very much. I told them my transmission was slipping and I really needed the fluid at least checked and could not get help. $109 oil change 3 trips down there having someone take me plus phone calls and I am back where I started. Came here for an oil change. I was told I have a small coolant leak, but it wasn't that big of a deal. I took my vehicle home and noticed I did have a small leak, but it didn't look like coolant or oil, most likely from the condensation of the A/C, the next morning I took my vehicle to work and noticed smoke coming from under my hood. Oil was EVERYWHERE including on the side of my car from driving. I later contacted jiffy lube at this location and they did come to my work and looked at my vehicle. The manager filled it with oil and had me drive it back to jiffy lube from eloy to casa grande to have their "certified mechanic" look at it. The "certified mechanic" plugged in a type of Obd2 scanner and he said that my oil pump broke and needed to be replaced. I was estimated $1000.00 more or less.. I took my vehicle to a mechanic I trusted and the issue was a broken valve gasket that only cost me $25 for the part and $150for labor and cleaning supplies. He even cleaned all of the oil from the engine and side of the car. The oil pump was just fine. I was saved from spending $1000 on something I didn't even need in the first place. It was that time again... oil change. As far as oil change places go... this one is ok. At Jiffy Lube they try to sell you everything under the sun, including $40 for a cabin air filter that I get at the auto parts store for less than half that. The greeting attendant said that it would only be 40-45 min, we were there for an hour and 15 min. It's not all bad though... the staff is friendly and they help out with coupons to save the customers money. UPDATE 11/20/2011: My most recent visit to this Jiffy Lube and to all Jiffy Lubes was my last. Jiffy Lube will take out your air filters to check to see if they need to be changed. It's not so bad, except one time I went here, they put my cabin air filter back in upside down, so when I turned on my AC I ended up getting a face full of the debris that had accumulated on the filter. Nice. So since then, I specifically tell the attendant, DO NOT TOUCH MY AIR FILTERS! I change them myself. What do they do? Pull them out. When we pulled in the air in my tires were fine... when we get back into our car, the TMPS light was on. After the oil change I went to go get a haircut (that's another review). After I get back out to my car, I realize that my tire is flat. What really pisses me off is that the attendant told me that my light was on after the oil change. He asked if I had had my tires rotated recently. No I hadn't. I had even gotten my tires checked recently at a very good tire place. It would have been nice if he had just admitted that he may had messed up my tire when he was checking the air. Needless to say that was my last visit to this or any Jiffy Lube. read more

This jiffy lube put the wrong oil in my hybrid vehicle and refused to refund me. They said they would drain the wrong oil and redo it, but I told them I had lost trust in their business and wanted a refund instead. They told me to get lost basically. Their mistake cost me close to $90. I suggest you do not go here if you value your car. Not saying all Jiffy Lubes are like this, but this one Update: I did eventually receive a refund in the mail. read more

I have been taking my car to this Jiffy Lube for quite a while. I drive a lot for work so I average more oil changes than the ordinary driver. Like most people, by the time I remember its time for the next oil change, I'm pressed for time and barely able to fit it in. I know when i bring my car in they will take care of business and get me back on the road quickly so I can start driving toward my next oil change. I've never had to wait longer than 30 minutes for an oil change and any additional services rendered have been quick and respectful of my time. I've never encountered an unfriendly or unpleasant employee at this Jiffy Lube either. Everyone has been extremely nice without any patronizing connotations that women usually get at car service places. Information on past services is computerized and I've never felt they tried to sell me something I didn't want or need. They present the information and let me as the customer decide. Coupons are welcome and to all my teacher friends, they will give you a $10 discount on an oil change just because you are a teacher. Great place, great service. read more
