Wait in your vehicle while the job is getting done :)

AMAZING customer service. Samuel and his crew are fast, efficient and FRIENDLY! Prices are great! Next door at "Take 5" they were rude and demanding- Samuel made sure to change my day around and made this a great experience, thank you! Love this staff.

Why is a two year old oil filter on our car when this Jiffy Lube performed service on it 9 months ago?
    Robert O.

"Time will tell" is an oft-used phrase that proves to be entirely true for better or worse. I took our 2017 Kia Sorrento to this Jiffy Lube location April 30, 2022 for an oil change and paid $75 for synthetic oil and oil filter replacement. The invoice reflects both were changed and I took it upon faith that the work was executed professionally. As our car doesn't get heavy mileage put on it and we work from home, our vehicle can go many months before a subsequent oil change is needed. Or, in our case, before a check engine light comes on and when checking the dipstick to find out there was no oil at all registering on the dipstick on a drive home from taking our family to a Christmas break activity. The horror that can go through one's mind when that dreaded check engine light comes on is enough to make anyone cringe and become instantly worried about a repair bill spiraling out of control. A blown engine, a recently paid off vehicle being damaged beyond repair, the headache of new car shopping in a dealer-friendly market, rising interest rates for new auto financing... the mind wanders off to dark places when that light comes on. So when you check the engine oil and it's virtually non-existent, you make an emergency late-night trip to Walmart and top off the oil hoping you car can limp home long enough to assess the damage filled with worry and concern and those overwhelming negative emotions creep in one wave after another. And then you make it home. And you feel only a slight amount of relief you arrived but you automatically enter fact-finding mode. Oil leaks? None found. Not from the filter, not from the plug, nowhere to be seen. No leak is no leak, right? But what does that mean? Is the engine burning oil? Did that Jiffy Lube you took your car to many months ago actually put oil in your car? Did they do the job right? Then you find the oil filter on your car has a date stamp on it from 09/07/2020. No branding anywhere to be found, the filter is black and the only identifiable mark is that 2+year old manufacturing code. Then you compare the filter to the oil filter Jiffy Lube claims to have used, and the two look absolutely nothing alike at all. Suddenly you realize you paid Jiffy Lube $75 for an oil and filter change they didn't actually perform and in fact straight up lied to your face about doing. It's in black and white on the receipt you have on your invoice. You were suckered. Then you call up and speak to the manager of the Jiffy Lube and he says "no one who worked here in April still works here, even I am new and the old manager is long gone." and you don't care about that, because service should have been done right and if your car is beyond repair then who's going to accept responsibility for this fraud? The new manager, Carlos, tells you that you can call the corporate number on the back of the receipt but "good luck with that" because also on the back of the receipt is their policy that warranties the service they performed for no more than 3,000 miles or 3 months after service, whichever comes first. And he adds insult to injury and says "Corporate is not going to do anything to help you but you can call anyway." And that is that. A company that won't stand by its work, that doesn't care what happens after they take your money and that performs poor if not downright negligent service, and whose corporate number on the back of the receipt never actually rings anyway when you try to call and is stuck in a permahell busy signal loop. Don't do business with ANY Jiffy Lube at all, and especially not with this location. Lord have mercy on you if you do. But for goodness sakes, if you do, at least make them prove they actually did the work they claim to AT THE TIME OF SERVICE. Don't even leave the parking lot until you can verify the work was completed properly. Otherwise, you'll be the one on the hook when your car's check engine light comes on. These guys don't have any accountability nor sense of responsibility.

You can see in the red circle where oil spilled and you can also see where it spilled off the side.

Came here for an oil change. I was told I have a small coolant leak, but it wasn't that big of a deal. I took my vehicle home and noticed I did have a small leak, but it didn't look like coolant or oil, most likely from the condensation of the A/C, the next morning I took my vehicle to work and noticed smoke coming from under my hood. Oil was EVERYWHERE including on the side of my car from driving. I later contacted jiffy lube at this location and they did come to my work and looked at my vehicle. The manager filled it with oil and had me drive it back to jiffy lube from eloy to casa grande to have their "certified mechanic" look at it. The "certified mechanic" plugged in a type of Obd2 scanner and he said that my oil pump broke and needed to be replaced. I was estimated $1000.00 more or less.. I took my vehicle to a mechanic I trusted and the issue was a broken valve gasket that only cost me $25 for the part and $150for labor and cleaning supplies. He even cleaned all of the oil from the engine and side of the car. The oil pump was just fine. I was saved from spending $1000 on something I didn't even need in the first place. I'm giving a bad review for the dishonesty.

I want to preface by saying that the staff was very congenial. That is why they have two stars…read more I took my vehicle in for an overall inspection. It had an oil leak and the a/c needed Freon. I am an Arizona newbie and wanted to make sure that everything was in tiptop shape. The first bill came in at around $400 and I was ecstatic. But the next day I still had an oil leak and the a/c was marginal at best. I returned to the shop and mentioned that these problems still existed and expressed my disappointment. I reiterated that I wanted a thorough inspection of my 2005 Cadillac De Ville. A different person assessed the vehicle and came up with a new quote. It was. $3k+. I agreed to the repair that included front brakes. $4k later and my engine is idling so rough that it will barely stay running when I start it up. Lucas octane boost has helped a tiny bit. But not enough to clear out the injectors or smooth out the rough idle. I called the shop back and the response was, "Bring it in and we'll give you a cost estimate." Cost estimate?? Are they kidding? $4k should have covered front brakes and a tune up don't you think? Let me conclude by saying my father bought this Caddie brand new and always took brilliant care of it. I inherited it when he passed. It had 56k miles on it when I acquired it a few years ago. I want to take care of it with the same conscientiousness that he did. I've never had such an enormous repair bill in my life and perhaps I could have lived with it if my car ran smoothly. But it doesn't. It's a good thing I can drive a stick because I've had to drive this car slightly pushing the accelerator with my left foot on the brake at red lights just to keep it running. It has always been a lovely, dependable vehicle. I want to hear it running smoothly once again but on a fixed income further financial investment seems crazy and they didn't offer to correct the problem at no charge. In my opinion, $4k should have been enough to cover an inspection, front brakes and a tune up successfully.

Man I usually don't rant about things like this, but something has to be said. So here I am a man…read morein his 30's with a wife and 4 kids and right now we only have our one vehicle. Our vehicle has a TRANMISSION issue (that word will be important just stick with me here). So I go over to the Discount Brake, Tune & Lube here in Casa Grande right off of Florence right? Usually these guys are pretty straight forward and let you know what's going on and are on their A-Game! Well I was completely wrong. Now with my job I'm usually working anywhere between 12-17 hour days depending on the situation at hand. Now with that being said my wife called to see if we can schedule an appointment for the TRANSMISSION to have it looked at. The gentlemen my wife spoke with "yes no problem just go ahead and bring it over Wednesday at 3pm!" Okay that is no issue. However we run into an issue with our vehicle going in reverse no issue, but stalling going forward and I discovered this leaving my place of business and ended up right outside my work broken down. I called Monsoon Towing company (which they are amazing highly recommend them) and they come get me within the hour as they promised. So I drop the car off here at Discount last night. Come in this morning after having to walk here with my wife (mind you again this is our only transportation right now) and we speak The General Manager: Joe, Which I have dealt with this gentlemen before and usually is pretty straight forward guy and I tend to not have an issue with him. Today marked a different day and I don't know what to feel about this. So I said "hey sir so my wife called with a gentlemen yesterday and informed him that it seems like a transmission issue." Joe says to me: "we can do the inspection on the vehicle for $150, but if it is a transmission issue we do not fix transmission issues anymore." So I said to him: "Look tensions are high and I'm pretty livid myself, but right now I'm chill talking to you like a man and all I'm saying is why would you have us come this way if it is something you folks don't fix, I mean is there any way you can rectify this?" Joe losing his composure putting his glasses down on the counter, as the General Manager by the way, says to me: "Look your car broken down out there is NOT MY PROBLEM! And there is NOTHING I CAN DO TO RECTIFY THIS!" So the general manager cannot take responsibility and at least say "hey we're sorry for the misconception and confusion" but instead would berate his customers or not even take responsibility for not keeping up with his workers and making sure they are all on the same page. Shoot I'm not even asking for a free diagnosis I'm just saying "train your people and hose that attitude of yours especially when you know you are in the wrong." I honestly haven't been in a situation like that with a person of management and I as well have been in management multiple times dealing with irrate or just frustrated people and finding a way to de-escalate situations. I don't even want to mention how he threw in the: "well I've been a mechanic for 30 years" because my rhetoric back was "my wife's father was a mechanic for 30+ years, but I'm not even trying to pull rank here." I mean I just wanted someone to not come at people so harsh and aggressively and just be straight forward from the beginning is all so we are not just running in circles. So now Monsoon is coming and they will charge $95 this time and problem is today I had to call off work to make sure this is all taken care of so now at this point I'm losing more money than I could've earned. Rant over. Thank you for tuning in.
