Always have loved Joe the owner's upfront pricing and quality work. Also always explains all the work to be done upfront and no surprises at the end. Have been to him a few times over the years. Stuff I have had done includes brakes rotors on a Camry. Full a/c work with compressor on a Chevy trailblazer and recently inner rotor and arms etc on a Chevy Silverado including entire transmission flush and some other work. While my truck was at his shop. My battery died. He even gave me a loaner battery for a few days. So I could change mine out. Great work all around. What kind people! I was driving from Phoenix to Tucson and unexpectedly ran over a 5 gallon plastic bucket on the freeway. It ended of damaging the undercar engine shield cover. The cover was unhinged on one side and was just dragging on the ground as I drove. I found Lopez Advanced Automotive by luck, and they took me in immediately and said they would find a way to connect it so it would not drag. Since they are not a body shop, they normally would not even attempt. They recognized my dilemma and found a temporary fix for me AND they did not even charge me one penny! Someone asked me the other day about this shop. I did go back after posting my initial review and the reason I went back was to give a chance to fix the truck so my son had a way to get to work. I did pay more money to the shop for "parts" The Dodge Ram truck never got on the road again. My son had to get rid of it. The amount of money and time that was wasted by this shop. Last week I had my car serviced by Lopez Advanced Automotive for a diagnostic look at the air conditioner that had stopped working in my car. I had it to another repair shop several months prior but afterwards it only intermittently worked and then eventually not at all. With temps in the 100's and rising it was time to readdress. I carefully searched for a reputable business for help and chose Lopez Advanced Automotive after seeing their great reviews! Fortunately I found them to be very thorough not only with the issue of my air conditioner but what they found beyond that problem that could create a big expense if left unchecked as well as a safety issue while driving my car. This was done while explaining what work was done and also showing me the warn out parts. There aren't enough stars on the page. I was visiting Casa Grande when my car wouldn't start. I called several local auto repair facilities and no one had availability to take my car on short notice. I called Lopez Advanced Automotive, Joe answered and stated they could fit me in. I had my car towed to the facilities and they got me in and out. The service was outstanding. The were very welcoming. It made me feel like family. The shop manager Craig, came and introduced himself to me. I was introduced to the technician servicing my vehicle, Bradley. They explained everything that was needed thoroughly. The completed the work quickly and efficiently. My phone died while I was there, Joe even gave me a charger. Lynn and I would like to tell you about the outstanding experience we had with Lopez Advanced Automotive in Casa Grande, AZ. On our way from Yuma to Tucson, AZ we blew the upper radiator hose in our '04 Tracker. Lynn changed the radiator hose, but the car wouldn't start. After night in a local hotel and an early morning call to Joe and Rachel, we had the car towed to Lopez Advanced Automotive's shop. As soon as we got the car to the shop, Joe jumped into action and diagnosed the problem quickly. The blown hose had allowed all of the coolant to escape while we were traveling down I8 at 75 MPH in 110 degree heat. There was no hope for our aluminum engine. After his inspection, Joe relayed what had happened and what it would take to get our beloved Tracker back on the road in a clear and concise manner. Joe recommended that we replace our engine with a used one from a junked car as remanufactured engines were not available. Joe said that he had located an engine on the East Coast. As Trackers have not been produced for over eleven years, that appeared to be our best option given our time constraints. Oh, Joe's estimate seemed reasonable too. We are full time RVers and our 'home' was parked in Tucson. Rachel volunteered to drive us back to Tucson where we would wait the week it would take to get the replacement engine. While inspecting the replacement engine, Joe noticed a 2 inch hole in the oil pan. The engine supplier agreed to replace the pan, but it would take another week in transit. Joe worked late the day before we were to pick up our car. As our luck would have it, when Joe started the replacement engine, it sounded like marbles were bouncing around inside the engine. Joe would not accept that and we were out of time! We had a trip to Europe planned and due to other obligations we had no way to get those things done before we flew out. Joe volunteered to loan us a car, which was amazing in itself. Anyway, we got things done and made our flight. Joe said not to worry, he would have our car running when we returned three weeks later. He runs an "old school" place that does VERY quality work, provides excellent service to customers, charges fair and reasonable rates and simply put, makes a customer want to return when the need arises. I took my 2001 Infiniti I30 to Joe for the last several major repairs, the car has 227,800 miles on it and today was yet another positive experience with a smart, dedicated mechanic, and all-around nice guy.
