Every time i've gone here i always leave with something missing or damaged. 1st visit for my tires i left without my valves and my sensors needing to be reset. Called about the valves SAME DAY and the guy said "we don't have any valves but you could buy some from us". 2nd visit for my A/C blowing hot ..left something hanging under my car. Didn't notice until i was home. 3rd visit (hubs took it this time) was an oil change and the light was on the day they did it and several days after... i wouldn't take a bicycle to them at this point. ‍ read more

Zero stars. Came in for an oil change. Left with a flooded ac blower motor. Their response..."Why didn't you bring it back?" Not that it mattered to them (or corporate), we had a family emergency and needed to get back to NH. Spoke to corporate and all they did was shift the blame and tell is that "if we take it to a reputable mechanic to diagnose the issue"...they will DISCUSS liability... Theres nothing to discuss. The ac was working before yall replaced the ac filter and now there's NO ac at all...due to a fried ac blower motor. I was dealing with someone we'll call 'Andrew G" from corporate and now his extension number has been removed from correspondence emails and no one is returning our calls. I was very nervous because of the other reviews. Although I've been here a few times the manager Cody always seems very honest. He doesn't try and upsell or up charge anything. He gives a professional opinion on how necessary the fixes are as well which I appreciate! He is the reason despite the reviews I decided to get a diagnostic ran on my car. I requested they check the air pressure in my tires, they checked one out of four. I requested the fuel filters be changed along with the oil change. I was assured they could perform this service. They did not change the fuel filters. They didn't tell me it wasn't done until I checked the receipt. At least they didn't charge me for it. read more

I had a clicking in my engine, got oil treatment and went in to an oil change and add my oil treatment. Also told him to use the synthetic oil. Left straight from there took it to my mechanic. Not only did my mechanic inform me that I had zero water as a result of a bad water pump, they also said one of my tires was almost flat, I had a nail in it! All of these things were checked off by jiffy lube as having been checked and we're fine. I could have cracked my engine driving it hot with no water... Have I not gone straight to my mechanic. I have been going to Jiffy Lube for years while traveling and generally have had a good experience until yesterday. My wife and I went to the Lake City location. We were gping to do a oil change and transmission flush. While they were doing the oil change I kept getting a bad feeling about the guys working on my truck. I decided not to have them do the transmission service and paid the bill. As soon as they pulled my truck out I immediately started going through everything in the cab to make sure nothing was missing. My center arm rest has a cover on it with pockets. A pocket knife that has been kept in the same place for over a year was missing. I immediately got the manager and told him. He said he would check the cameras and I told him I would search the truck thoroughly just in case it slipped out of the arm rest pocket. The place is sketchy so my wife wasnt comfortable with me emptying the contents of the cab of the truck onsite. We decided to do it down the road away from there. I was truly hoping I was mistaken but I wasnt. One of their employees snaked it. 20 minutes after we left I called Sean the manager and was told he was out to lunch and would get back to me as soon as he got back. I received no call. Two hours later I called again and he told me he would still check the cameras. Shortly later I received a call from a regional and was told they would check the cameras. Its now 32 hours later and still no answer. I should have called the cops while I was still there. To top it off later in the day I noticed my whole wheel well and oil filter was covered in oil. I borrowed a filter wrench and was able to easily tighten it up. Stay away from this location. Its completely shady. read more

Took my "22" kia rio to jiffylube lake city FL. Nov 7 for oil change. 2 days later noticed a notice. On Nov 14 checked my oil to make sure was OK. And surprised to see NO OIL on stick. Contacted them. And was told they would make it right. Today at 8 am contacted them to send someone to me and was told would get right on it. But man showed up around 2 and didn't even bring a jack. Then had to leave to get one. Came back and asked me what I wanted to do with the oil??? Lol it's now 6:06pm and he is still attempting to change my oil. By cleaning the used oil filter and putting it back onto my vehicle. This is unacceptable. I certainly hope nothing happens to my new car due to their ineptitude.​ read more

I brought one of my cars in there for an oil change after leaving notice oil all over the driveway, called the manager brought my car and they said it was leaking from my turbo lines never had a leak before that oil change I told my son please don't go there. What are you know he was in a rush. Ended up going there because kids don't listen and his truck has been at the shop for eight days waiting for an oil pan that they broke now the shop says his truck is ready to be picked up and they're not paying for the oil pan that they broke the shop that repair the damage they did is waiting for payment if you go to this place, you're making a big mistake it could be you next. read more

I've been to Jiffy Lube twice too many. Both times I had to wait for over 30 minutes and payed over 80$ for an oil change. Every time they open front and back doors and go through my whole vehicle "Vacuuming" all the while trying to find something else to charge me for. I usually use them for my oil changes on my F-250. They do let you know if wipers are shot or air filter is dirty. They have never tried to cheat or upsell. They do a quick professional job. I have never had a problem with them. read more

Unprofessional workers. Spilled oil all over my engine did not bother to try and clean it off car began smoking like crazy from under the hood soon after we pulled away. Said they filled all fluids but did not, I still have empty washer fluid reservoir. State they checked and added air to tires but again this was left undone.After spending$100 for a high mileage oil change all of this should have been done. I had my Jeep in for a routine oil change. After a quick shopping stop across the street and 3 miles later engine light comes on, oil pressure is almost nill. Checked the oil, none showing on the dip stick !! I took it back, they were closed due to change in hours. Was stranded 50 miles from home with no way to leave a message about why my Jeep was left out front. Called the next morning, no apology.."it happens". Spoke to the manager, offered a complimentary oil change.."um...thanks, but no!" Went to pick it up the next day, no apology, no explanation, nothing. "Here are your keys" is all I got. Did a poor job; oil dripping from the filter because they did not tighten properly . Stopped and checked 20 miles after change and saw oil dripping off the filter. They said they forgot to wipe off filter after installing . Did not seem to care that I had to return for the re do. Almost 50.00 for the basic oil change . Never again . read more

I got in the Jiffy Lube habit when I bought my latest car a bit more than a year ago. I have taken it there 3 times for the synthetic oil blend that the mfr recommends and I have been well taken care of each time. The last time I went, however, before I got completely signed in, they had removed both my engine air filter and cabin air filter and showed them to me for my inspection. I agreed that they both could stand replacement and I have to say I admired their salesmanship and how enthusiastic they were to upsell me. The mistake I made was not asking their price for the filters in advance. When I went to pick up the car, I was dismayed to learn that the charge for the cabin air filter was going to be $59.99. I sat in my car and searched the street price for a cabin filter and determined the price to put one in myself would be less than $15. I decided to talk it over with them before I drove away and let them know I felt I had been taken advantage of. They defended the cost first by saying they were simply charging according to their list prices and then pointed out the labor involved with replacing the cabin filter. Having replaced them before myself, I do not think they are any more labor intensive to replace than the engine air filter, for which they only charge $29.99. I drove away feeling like I had been taken for $30 more than a reasonable shop would have charged, and that they had just as much to lose as I did by not making sure I knew beforehand what the price was going to be. They traded my loyalty for a quick buck. Oh. And before I posted this public complaint, I tried to complain about it on Jiffy Lube's website, but I never received any acknowledgement that I had even lodged a complaint. Stay away! Too many stories of cracked oil pans!! I made the mistake of going here BEFORE my wife told me of a lot of friends who had been here and had similar stories. My car did not leak oil at all before visiting. I got an oil change and their up sold air filter. I saw oil on my driveway the next morning. I didn't believe it at first, and normally don't always believe the "everyone else has problems" types of statements. I had my mechanic check it out, and he confirmed the oil pan was cracked. I got the oil changed in my wife's vehicle. I usually use Gatorland Toyota, but I didn't 't have time to take it there. They were very professional, everything was very clean. The service was done very quickly. The only thing that concerned me was the price. It was about 15 dollars higher than the dealer, but that is because it is a convenience service, that only takes 15 minutes, as opposed to possible several hours. I have read the negative reviews on here, and the only thing I can say is, it seems like they have greatly improved since these reviews were written. I am sure I will use them again. read more

The men at this jiffy lube are as good as it gets! Me and my friend are traveling from Kentucky to Orlando for vacation when my car broke down. We were able to pull into the sherwin williams parking lot next door to jiffy lube. As I was scrambling the men came over to see if I needed help. They were able to locate the problem and fix it for me! They saved me so much money because I was going to have to get a tow truck and have my car sent to an auto-mechanic shop! Who know that jiffy lube can do this stuff too?!? High high praise for this place! read more
