I do not recommend. He swindled both me and my 19-year-old daughter. He overcharged me for the work…read moreon my truck; gave no receipt or written estimate, and never completed the job. After he worked on mine, I had several new issues: eval leaks, battery voltage problems, and a coolant sensor issue. The truck kept not starting sometimes or it would take a few min to. None of these problems existed before he worked on it. The engine light came back on after he worked on it, and he claimed it was my gas cap. I don't have a gas cap. Then he worked on my daughter's truck twice. The first time was before he worked on mine. After the first time, she gave him a $500 deposit. She paid $100 for towing, totaling $1000 for the job. He was paid on a Wednesday, $500 upfront, with the rest to be paid after he did the job. The parts arrived on Thursday, then he lied for the next six days straight, saying he was getting her truck with his car dolly, then he said he was coming to tow it with a rope and his mom was helping. The next day, he said the tow company was coming by 5 pm, then claimed they charged him but didn't show up. He didn't know why and didn't know they didn't come because he moved off the property. Then he claimed he would be taking her truck to his shop. Every day from Wednesday to Monday, he had a new excuse daily. My daughter asked for the parts and the $500 back within a couple of days of the truck still sitting at her house, but he refused, saying it doesn't work that way. When he finally picked it up, on Monday, she was stuck because he wouldn't refund the money. The timing chain was supposedly bad, according to two shops. I told him to check the valves, and if they were bad, we'd get a new motor; if not, we'd do the timing chain. He agreed but then claimed he didn't check the valves because he doesn't do free work, even though we agreed he would ch the valves first. Instead, he supposedly changed the timing chain and water pump, knowing the valves were bad. We never wanted the water pump changed, but he insisted we purchase the timing chain that came with a water pump. After six days of lies, he towed the truck to his mom's house using a rope, with his mom steering. hOn Sunday, He claimed his shop was closed on weekends and he would be there Monday. He has no shop. It's his mom's front yard. This was 6 days since he was supposed to have towed her truck. Once he finally got the truck to his mom's house, he changed the timing chain and water pump, knowing that wasn't the issue. He told me I need to understand this is how he makes his living. My daughter is out almost $1500 and still has no running vehicle. We went to his mom's house to check the vehicle, and the motor was still taken apart. We had to wait until Friday to get the non-working vehicle and rented a car dolly for another $50. He had the nerve to say he'd charge us $40 a day for storage if we didn't get it by 5 pm Friday. When we arrived, the motor was still not put together. The battery was working when we put it on the dolly, but when we went to unload it the battery was completely dead. I videotaped our last interaction with him and my husband asked him to put it back together. We waited until he did that, and then he lied to my husband, stating my daughter ran it without oil twice. This was the first he had ever said anything about the oil. It was also a false statement. He also claimed he took it apart to check the Valves after he did the work. Makes NO sense. We paid him the remaining $500 to get her keys and truck. It was $900 for his services and $100 to tow it to his shop (his mom's). Altogether, We gave him around $3,600.. for all Services and it ended up costing me more money by the end.. Unfortunately, I just figured him out after the fact.. Don't make the same mistake. Don't take a chance with Waters Mobile Mechanics.. I will be reporting him because he is not a certified mechanic, as he claimed to be. He doesn't have a shop, as he stated he did. I'm also reporting him for Fraudulent work, and filing a small claims against him. The so called owner with no business license is mad that I put the review so he commented on my review after i posted it. I'm now updating this review. Nothing he commented is True. our relationship was business ONlY. have 4 daughters. No Sons!!! No women of my stature would dare be interested in him. However, he has shown his true character by making such horrible false claims and lies, SO Now I will be adding defamation of character and violating my first amendment, right to his lawsuit. I've already took a screenshot of his comment...In my opinion is He is a Very dishonest. Please safe your self from dealing with a person like this. He is only mad that he scammed the wrong person!! Have a blessed day. I have added some keys screenshots that show it was business ONLY and he knew I was married, he met my Husband a couple hours before his comment: In my opinion i highly recommend do not use him.

He quoted me $500 to tow the truck and that he would have everything done by the next day. It would only take him about four or five hours to complete. He held onto my truck for over two weeks without doing any work on the car Then finally started working on the vehicle and saying that it took four or five hours just to get the bolts off. He then stated that the hose was missing for the clutch to the transmission and then I had to order the part from the dealership to get it to Welchs Automotive since he said he couldn't find it. I did this to help him out when that should've been his responsibility. He then stated that the job would be done the following day all together he had the car for almost a month. I had to call him every couple of days to get a status on the vehicle with his excuses of somebody being sick or not showing up for work and that they hadn't even started working on the vehicle. I also had to call to find out that they didn't even have a hose. He held the car for two more days without telling me that they were having complications without having a hose. So I found it at the dealership, ordered it and sent it directly to him to get the job done faster. I also went and got two used tires from another place since I kept asking them to give me a quote on tires and never got back with me so I got it from somewhere else brought the tires up to them to have the two back tires replaced. After I confirmed that he had all the parts that he needed. He said he would have the job done the next day. I called after lunch to see if I could go ahead and pay for the truck over the phone so that we could pick it up in the evening and he now is stating that he's going up on the price of the vehicle another $500 for $1000 which was never discussed with me. He then told me to F off when I called on the phone saying that I wanted to talk to him because I had a problem with the price. And then turned around and said that he was taking the truck out of the bay and putting it to the street and I could come and get it and not owe him a dime. I would highly recommend that you not take your vehicle here this is the worst service I have ever dealt with in my life. And really who tells a woman to F off? No wonder you have such a horrible reputation! I was warned by several people that you have done people dirty in this area...I took my chance and even said if this works out I have more work to do on other vehicles...you proved to me you are exactly what people warned me about. Shame on you!!! And still the work was never completed. Took the truck off the property and he cut the hydraulic line I just bought and cut the exhaust in two pieces causing more damage.

During the initial diagnostic visit, the entire time the technician was more concerned about making…read moreYouTube videos on rv repairs than actually working to find the issues. The technician finished looking around and came to explain that he knew exactly what needed to be done in order to fix all of our issues. He explained that there would be a cheaper option and a very expensive option to get our AC units up and working again, he knew all the parts needed to get us back up and running again. So after All the diagnostic was done we were told that we would get our diagnostic bill and as soon as it was paid, we would get a list by end of day for parts that were needed to fix our issues and quote to do the work, at the time of deposit we would also get an idea of when to schedule for them to come out and finish with repairs. Then I had to reach out to them in the middle of the next day because I still had not heard from them, they threw together a parts list that was not completed compared to what the technician had explained to us. When I responded and said that parts were missing, I was told that additional diagnostic was needed. But would not be charged additional diagnostic, Neither would any additional service call fees for any additional visits. So I reluctantly paid the deposit for parts. I was sent a receipt for parts, but no additional communication on estimated time of arrival for parts or communication on when they would possibly be out depending on parts arrival, Nothing. In my history of dealing with contractors, that's sketchy, Not hearing from them at all after paying for parts. During this time I had reached out and informed them that I had a family member pass away and was working on funeral arrangements as well as needing to travel out of state for another dire family situation so I needed them to keep up with me so I knew what was going on and keep my schedule on track. And I was met with no communication until I called and left an irate voicemail about customer service and communication, and how I felt I was being scammed out of my money. Only then did I get response on an approximation on when parts would arrive, and it would be two weeks and a day later. They were 45 minutes late for appointment, showed up, no word to my wife or myself and just switch off our power. The propane part was incorrectly installed in 15 minutes, but the original technician that came during diagnostic visit was back STILL FOCUSED ON MAKING YOUTUBE VIDEOS FOR the whole 30 mins he was here. Came in, told us EXACTLY what he told us the first time, packed up and left, still with no AC and 10 minutes later I got a labor bill sent to me for $500! At this point, I had had enough with the games. I reached out again and explained that I was not paying $500 for them to be 45 minutes late for a 30 minute job where, the communication sucked, and nothing was fixed properly, was just given the same information as the diagnostic visit, and yet they still needed extra parts that we're supposed to be ordered the first time around. I went back-and-forth with their customer service representative most of the day until they got snippy and said that they would reach out to the owner to figure out what they could do.... The next day I was told that what I signed for was completed and that I would need more parts in order to finish the job where I was then sent another quote for an additional $1200 in parts and labor service call fee. The best thing that they could do for us would be to credit us an hour of labor for all of our troubles. Which I still had to go in and have them change three times because the credit wasn't added on the quote properly.... The numbers just kept going up, after the third time of correcting them I noticed they were still trying to charge that service call fee even after saying they wouldn't for additional visits. Month and half later, I have had a different technician company Fix their mess with far better communication and customer service, and confirmed the parts ordered initially for our Ac unit was not needed, and if they would have done the repairs to our third ac unit that they planned on doing it would have caused a fire because the unit was in far worse condition than they lead us to believe!
