Oil spilled all over engine. Broke lug nuts when rotating tires . Fluids not checked- brake fluid filthy. Tire icon came on after going home. Either broke sensor or did not notice it was not working. Paid $ 185 for nothing but trouble. My vehicle is now with a mechanic to correct these problems. read more

I went to Jiffy Lube on Vets. They had 2 new people working there. I asked if they put fluid in my windshield and I was told by Cee they did. That was not true! I didn't find that out until I tried to use the wipers. She didn't replace the mileage sticker in the window so, I will know when to return for a oil change. If and when I go back. I will NOT take my car in the shop if the same 2 individuals are working. I have been going to this same jiffy lube for the 8yrs I have been here in the city. I have always been satisfied with the service until now. Not only that. She wanted to charge me over $100 for my oil change and I told her that was NOT going to happen!!! Moving from California, there are a number of chains that I miss from there that are unavailable in the Gulf, Jiffy Lube being one of them. I typically always take my car to Jiffy Lube for their standard service. Imagine my excitement then when I found out there was a single Jiffy Lube located in the New Orleans area. It's kind of a trek to drive out to from New Orleans though. It's pretty standard, although the lot is a tad small so I can't imagine where you might park if they are busy. But one nice thing about this place is that there are cameras in the work area, so while you're sitting in the waiting area, you can see the mechanics servicing your car. Generally I'm usually able to negotiate a discount of some sort. Although I'm still on the fence about whether it's worth driving all the way out to Metarie for an oil change. But overall, I'm satisfied with the service. read more

I have been coming here since I moved to Louisiana in December 2016 and until recently have had good experiences. My last two experiences here where very concerning and are what prompted this poor review. I brought my wife's car in 2 months ago and they had one bay blocked off causing long delays. The staff vented their problems to me sighting staffing problems as the reason and seemed irritated that I was there. I brought my car in today and it was the straw that broke the camel's back. The last time I was in with this vehicle (roughly 3 months ago) they were amazing and even zip tied my muffler up to stop it from shaking. I returned today to ask them what they recommend I do and get my oil changed and they were very combative stating there was no way they touched my muffler and that they didn't even have zip ties. When I tried to tell them they actually did and that I appreciate it they basically shook their head at each other and made me feel like an idiot. Needless to say I drove away and will not be returning to this location. Their shop was empty and they were all sitting around on their phones. These negative attitudes and poor customer experiences may be why.... read more

''Attention" To all ladies' please listen to what I'm about to share with you about Jiffy lube oil change on Veterans Hwy. I had an oil change in June, 2021 at Good year, my mileage at the time was 114,000. I went to jiffy lube in September,2021and had oil change they recorded I had 110,000 miles on my car and put the sticker in my window with the inappropriate mileages on it. I called the corporate office to report this matter, and was told to contact the the manager at the jiffy lube after speaking with the manager and showing him the paperwork he would not admit to the mistakes, Instead he wanted to blame it on Good Year. I explain to him Good Year, didn't make this mistake and I need you to correct this error because I have an extended warranty on my vehicle and my service log is something they have on file, In order to get my vehicle fixed I need you admit there was an error on you'll side, the warranty company ask if you'll can acknowledge this error in order to have the car repaired. The Manager stated he wasn't signing nothing,What jiffy lube failed to realized is when I purchased the extended warranty I already had 109,000 miles on the vehicle already. I'm asking you ladies to pay attention to them and asked questions don't let them rush you check your oil change sticker to make sure it the correct date. In addition to that ,pay attention to everything they are doing, this coming from a woman that has plenty of experience when it comes to dealing with unethical people with unethical experiences, Just because you are a woman they think you don't know rights, are have any experiences in voicing your opinion, Let me say this I have contacted an attorney, because that's falsifying information in order to get paid, I will never go there and will tell every woman that l know to stay the hell away from a company like jiffy lube, Ms. Motley. read more

I came to get an oil change and decided on the more expensive full synthetic oil but when tax was added I was short like $5 so I let the staff know and they bumped off the extra $5 rather than making me go with the cheaper half-synthetic which was awesome read more

I came in there to get an oil changed and I noticed they sold brake tags as well so I asked to get one early even though mine wasn't expired yet. The oil change guy named Kirby was who I dealt with. I assume he is part owner or his parents own the business because he was the only one allowed to do vehicle inspections and I've seen him there over ten years ago and couldn't forget that name. He kept trying to selling me things I didn't want and when I said no he would roll his eyes with a snarky attitude. He asked if I wanted an air filter and I said no and then he rolled his eyes. He asked if I wanted new windshield wiper blades and I said no thanks and he rolled his eyes again. He then failed my vehicle for old wiper blades because he conveniently sold them and could force me to buy them. I told him to cancel the oil change and went down the street where the employees saw the failed inspection sticker for wiper blades and laughed. I'm glad they didn't sell tires or else he would of tried to fail my vehicle inspection for that too. What he's doing is illegal and they should be shut down read more

I called jiffy lube this morning to see if I could get an oil change. The guy on the phone was so nice and polite he told me to come right in they didn't have any wait. When I got here I was greeted right away. Everyone was wearing masks but I still saw the smiles on all their faces. The attendant Nick was so nice and informative about my vehicle. He serviced my car very quickly and any questions I had he answered them right away. This was a last minute oil change and they took care of me without any wait. I'll definitely be back here to get my car serviced and I recommend this place to everyone who wants to receive excellent customer service. Love this place. Will definitely be back. read more

Stopped by this location before a long road trip, and had excellent service! Evan helped us out and made sure I understood everything I was getting done to my car. We didn't even have to leave the car, and it took under 30 minutes to get an oil change, air filter changed, and tires filled! This was originally a 5 Star review, because the service was great. However, once things went wrong, the tides changed. Originally when my oil change was done, they had also "topped off my engine coolant." Well today on the interstate the car overheated because the surge cap had not been secured back properly. Over the two weeks of driving the car they had serviced, the coolant had been making its way out. Today once it had finally become about a gallon low, the car overheated an hour a way from home on the side of the highway. I had to leave home with 30 bucks worth of coolant to rescue my wife. Time, energy, and money wasted due to negligence. I called the business to tell them my story, and they seemed more anxious to debate my claim rather than make it right. Although he did say he would be happy to look into it, he presented no definitive as far as what he would offer me or that he would make the wrong right...The only definitive things I was being told was that it's not likely it would overheat on the highway, and that it would normally happen at idle. Well not this time, buddy!!! Very bummed out. It seems like it would be a lot of headache to get compensated for the stress of today. Just gotta know how to cut your losses sometimes. read more

Nick went above and beyond to come help me out. He met me in the Home Depot parking lot where I was stuck to take a look. I called and they said I had to come in and get it looked at, and then I had to hassle with the manager to get them to give me a refund. I'm taking my car to a trustworthy mechanic (see: Kehoe automotive) and hopefully won't have to go to commercial auto shops ever again. read more

My husband brought my car here for an oil change last night. This morning on my commute there was a loud rattling noise, my car is usually very quiet. I looked under the car when I arrived at work and the guard underneath was hanging down on the front passenger side. I work at a high school and the resource officer and welding teacher were kind enough to put a tie where one of the bolts was missing so I could drive home. My husband returned to this Jiffy Lube so they could fix the problem and refund our money. They fixed it but refused to refund the money saying I had hit something based on the amount of damage underneath. I did not hit anything but I did drive 20 miles on the interstate going 60-70 mph...with a hanging guard the whole way. Very disappointed. Will NOT return. read more

Do not come here for a state inspection sticker renewal. Failed me for "too much window tinting" on a Toyota RAV4 (aka: soccer mom car) that I bought new from the dealership 8 years ago, never been told I had tinting on, and have never had issues getting renewals before. Law is 40% visibility, they claimed mine had 26% visibility. I find it hard to believe that my tinting is that dark...especially since I've never even known I had tinting, and I've passed 8 other inspections with no comment of having tint at all. I think this place cares more about their money than their customers. Wish I would have known before they made me remove all the tint (extra cost). read more

Will try to make a long story short. Went in for oil change on 8/24/2019. When paying bill didn't add up but not big deal. Weather real bad. Got car drove home not more then 1/4 mile from shop bad noise from underneath. Stopped and waited for rain to stop saw skid plate was hanging on ground. Drove back to the shop. They heard noise as I drove up. they went below and called me to show me that all the screws were missing from holding skid plate on but that it wasn't them because they didn't remove the plate. Changed story several times from it came in that way or they saw it as I left but didn't inform me. I keep my cars in excellent condition and I knew this was wrong. Also knew skid plate had to be removed to change oil (later verified by VW). The manager actually wrote on my receipt all of the lies and signed it. Also no one knew the DM's name or phone number. Went on line and could only file complaint on line. Did 3x finally got someone who assured me someone would call. Never did. Few weeks later called and held on finally got an agent. She told me that the company called "me" the day before and offered to refund the charge. I told her no one called me that is why I called her. Would not give me any other number and said to go to Small Claims Court. Sent letters to Corporate office, local office and went to Court. Too much b... to file suit and they know it. Also on bill they decided I wanted to make a donation to some charity which was an extra 8 bucks. Bottom line they did not put all the screws back in the skid plate and that what caused problem. Will only spend anymore time on this other than letting everyone know they are lying thieves and don't care about customers. read more

The oil change itself was good; fast, easy, and well done. however, the two star rating is due to the fact that i was relentlessly hit on by one of the mechanics while i was trapped in my vehicle for the duration of the service. the man asked for my ID a second time after putting my information into their system, and i gave it to him without hesitation, thinking he might've needed my license for further information regarding my customer file. but he informed me that he only asked for it again just to see how old i was before trying to make several moves on me after handing my ID back to me with a smirk. this struck me as a gross invasion of privacy. i'm an independent woman that would love nothing more than to tend to my vehicles needs in peace without being harassed with multiple unwanted advances. i was stuck in my car the entire time of the oil change, so it's not like i could just walk away from him. i rebuffed his gestures multiple times but he didn't seem to get the message, even asking me to roll down my window AGAIN after i was driving away following my service to try and come onto me even further. this whole experience struck me as unprofessional and an abuse of position of power, mechanic to customer, and i will not be returning, at least not alone. i'll make sure to bring my boyfriend with me next time. maybe then he would've gotten the hint that i wasn't interested in the slightest, because men seem to always respect women more whenever they are accompanied by another man. read more

This is Part 2 of my earlier experience with this location and Jiffy Lube in general. After filing my first Yelp review, I received an email from their corporate office saying the District Manager would be in touch with me. Took him over a week to do that simple task. He calls and leaves a voicemail saying that he spoke with the location and that they would refund my oil change. He said bring in the receipt and they will "refund" you. I called him to confirm this. I go in today to get my refund. The guy running the place says no, they would only pay for the broken CD and that "it had to go through the mail". He called the DM who claimed he never said he would refund the oil change (even though the voicemail does say this). He claimed his wife was next to him on the phone when he said this. I will swear he never once uttered the word "CD" or "Broken CD". Those words never left his mouth. On another note, the DM explained that the reason the employee was going through my glove box was to show me the filter. But that had already been done. And why would someone want to show me a filter AFTER the oil change and car had been serviced? Very suspicious. I'll never go to another JL again. And I'll be filing a BBB report as well. read more

Brought my 2011 in two weeks ago for an oil change started seeing oil spots on my driveway went back yesterday they checked it and said there was oil on the engine shield dripping went home put a pice of plywood ran several errands parked over the wood each time there was a new spot each time went back today they showed me the leak coming from the drain plug had to get them to drain the pan change the gasket which the SHOULD have and COULD have done yesterday don't recommend going there unless you like having to go back more then once read more
