I was always impressed with the professionalism and convenience of the Broad St location, but my last few visits have shown me that they are seriously understaffed. At one point, I had to pick up my car because they were unable to get to it. One lady had been waiting several hours for an oil change. The phone was left to ring incessantly. I only went here because I have a tire protection plan through them. When I got a flat tire earlier this year, they didn't put my spare back, which I discovered when I got a flat a month ago and had no spare to put on. I had to get towed to their store for a new tire and to request that they give me a spare since they forgot it during my previous service. Over 24 hours after leaving my car for a tire change and replacement of a misplaced spare, I call to ask if my car is ready since I haven't heard anything from them and I'm told it is. I get there and my car is sitting there with a donut on it - no new tire despite having a protection plan with them. So then I have to wait until the next day for a new tire since their staff never called to get the proper tire from their supplier. And then they damaged an item in the back of my car at some point during the process, but hey, at least I finally have a new tire and a spare, right?! :/ It's been over a month since my last visit, and despite claiming they would replace my damaged item, I've received nothing and even the main customer support for the company has failed to offer a solution since the store failed to replace the item in reasonable time. I have called and emailed a few times over the past five/ six weeks and still no resolution. TL; DR sloppy work and shitty customer service. Spend your money elsewhere. read more

Today was the worst experience from Delta world tires. I took my car in at 7:30 told I will get a call when got off work at 5 o'clock never received a call. I got a ride to the location on Broad Street in New Orleans and the guy told me he forgot to pick up my Therefore it was never replaced. No one called me all day to tell me anything. I received service from them for tires on two other occasions where I waited and it literally took me five or six hours to wait on one tire to be replaced each visit. I will never go to Delta world tires again. read more

While visiting New Orleans in March 2025 I needed an oil change with my Enterprise rental car. I spoke with Chris and despite being over-booked and understaffed, he agreed to squeeze me into his schedule. I waited in their lobby and overheard several conversations with customers and realized Chris is going to make EVERY effort to insure the customer is dealt with fairly and the work completed correctly. I found Chris to be friendly and straight-forward and feel very comfortable recommending this location (not a bright, shiny, high overhead business. Just a get it done attitude.) Chris the manager was amazing. Initially I went in for a weird sound coming from my wheels. They checked it out and said my wheels and suspension looked fine. He walked me through some serious issues with my old tires and told me he would have me back complimentary to look at the car if the sound continued after the tires were changed. They also went above and beyond by fixing my splash guard under my car as it was dragging when I drove. Will be back for any car problems I may have in the future and will send my friends. Do not do business with them- I took my car to get a tire patched and when I picked it up the rear panel was scratched and dented. When I asked the manager about it he said, "we definitely didn't hit the wall" then proceeded to explain to me that if a car has body damage they always take pics so no one can blame it on them but they didn't this time (because the damage wasn't there) I gave the manager or owner/ (Matt?) every opportunity to make it right but he refused This is a very minor scrape but the car is new to me and I know the damage was not there when I left it at their shop. 10 years later and a 3rd review. I've been getting my tires from DWT for my last 3 cars. They've also done some mechanic work for me. AND fixed so many stupid tires. I've always found them to be professional and their prices comparable. The waiting room is comfortable... until the old dude next to you decides to play candy crush (or whatever) at full volume. Luckily they are across the street from the Broad Whole Foods so you can always go wait over there. Good product, good communication, fair prices. What else could I ask for? read more

Delta was recommended to me by another shop. Costco tire told me that I had a cross threaded stud and it needed to be replaced. I drove in to Delta and they fit me in right away. Delta found that the stud wasn't cross threaded, Costco was just using a bad lug nut. They charged me a pittance to change the Lug nut. They could have charged me for the stud replacement. These guys are honest. Highly recommend. read more

Came here for a wheel alignment because they have some of the best reviews in auto care but I cannot, in good faith give them anything more than the one star they deserve - which is extremely generous. Apparently they are short staffed but failed to to give me the option to leave or stay. I got here at 7:30am and at 9:45am my truck was still sitting where I parked it. At 8:30, I was asked which vehicle did I have, I told them and I sat another hour. I decided to get up to see how much longer it would be and I'm told, "we only have three guys working today." Okay, so why didn't someone explain that to me (perhaps when I was asked my vehicle type), that it would be longer than usual due to being short staffed? I have more things to do with my life than giving it to their wait room for free. My time is just as valuable as theirs and making a decision for me was completely unacceptable. Do better! read more

After I paid for my tires and alignment, I saw they had charged me for road hazard protection. Nobody asked me if I wanted this when I dropped off or before I paid. This took some time to get refunded, and the employee checking me out refused to put on a mask. We are under a citywide mask mandate. Management wouldn't help. I wish I could've packed up my mechanic from Kansas City and moved them down here with me; I hated giving up a shop I had trusted for years. Hopefully though, I've found one in Delta World Tire. My first encounter was a low tire pressure light. I dropped my car off first thing in the morning, and they had it fixed in a couple of hours even though I didn't wait on it (5-block walk from my house, another big plus!). Next was an oil change and tire rotation, again dropped off at 7am, done two hours before I asked to have it. Their prices for both services seem reasonable. Next, I called them about an idling issue with my 10-year-old hybrid. After listening to my description, he told me that it's probably a computer problem that a dealer would have to fix. I appreciate that he didn't tell me to bring it in, just so they could charge me to find a problem he knew they couldn't fix. That's why I'll go back again. read more

Tremendous service from caring, personable people. Took care of my tire, and when I drove away everything was great. Within 30 minutes I hit a very deep pothole, and the car started metal-on-metal clunking. I took it back, and they fixed it on the spot! They did advise me the fix might not last because of the pothole damage, but if it needs repair, Delta is definitely where I will go. read more

Delta World Tire came through for me again. It had been years since I did business with the shop (I live in Washington, DC now), but I found them to be just as professional and reliable. I had the shop practically rebuild my old car's (1991 Buick) front end. Mr. Equine Reynolds was my technician and, under the direction of Michael, DWT's service manager on N. Broad St., he replaced the car's lower ball joints, control arms, inner and outer tie rods, and front struts with parts I provided. The work was done expertly, and my 1,100 mile return trip to DC was considerably more comfortable than the drive to New Orleans two weeks before. Last week when the temperature dropped my car started telling me that my tire pressure was low. This is a fairly new car to me (got it last June) and I didn't realize that my car had this neat feature. Another feature of my 'new' car is that it came with nitrogen in the tires instead of just plain old tire air. I called Delta World Tire to see if they could help me with this problem and they said they indeed had the Nitrofill, and that they had no one in line, so I could basically get instant service. I raced over to the shop on N. Broad. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes with happy tires. Good people, great service. Thank YOU!! read more
