Have dealt with Brian Benson for decades from when he owned Bennys Sunoco. As the owner he drove a…read morehard bargain, was a man of few words, gruff but professional and imo a master mechanic my dad says he's the best he's ever known. As I drove for a living was my go-to for all repairs, inspections etc and frequent towing plus yanking me out of snow and always came quickly all hours of day and night and did a great job. When he and wife Kim ran the show was a great place she was a stabilizing influence but have seen little by little it's taken a slow-mo nosedive. The new owner or manager Mark? Is very dishonest. Took vehicle in to have brakes done less than ten years or so ago was charged over $300. Had battery changed was charged more than price quoted never gave me the core credit. Needed oil changed and brought own filter bc I only use Fram. He said it didn't fit so I said I would go home and get another one only live a couple of mi away. After the other repairs said it fit afterall. But charged full filter price for oil change. Was quietly furious but still friendly couldn't wait to get outta there paid bill and left vowing never to return. A sad ending to a once pretty good all-around shop *facepalm*

The most run-down store in Ludlow. Always dirty, gas pumps…read morethat don't work right, air pump that takes your $1.50 only to find that it is broken - and worst of all it has a tiny, single outdoor restroom that is filthy & used as a smoking lounge. Within shouting distance of 2 other, nicer places & a totally new place is 1/2 mile further - all with nice, clean restrooms. PS: Don't dare to try & tell them about something bad as they will just chase you off the premises - I've seen it happen about the filthy restroom.

There are about 4 pumps total and space was a bit tight. Also, if you are exiting to the east (to the left if you are facing the street) after filling up, traffic can be a bit difficult. It is much easier to access this station going west. They had pay at the pump. I think their receipt printer actually worked at the pump, which is becoming something I appreciate more.

I'm allergic to gluten which often makes eating out of town/while traveling difficult. We were able to shop enough for a couple nights to cook at our place of lodging. Staff was friendly as well.
