I had went into this business Jiffy Pawn in Roosevelt, Utah and asked to borrow $50.00 on a $300…read moreFender guitar amp but was only told I could get $30.00 dollars due to them having to much inventory. This means they lent me 10% of its value and want 17% of the value of the loan to get it out. The item has been in the store before and was obtained in less than a month of it being used as collateral as well as another item with the same short return on the loan. The average percentage from researching online is 30% of the value of the item but this store only would go 10% and the cost of the loan is higher to me than the amount given in exchange for the service. I think it is a dishonest practice and this pawn shop gives other pawn shops a bad image.
