She keeps notes on her customers so she knows your history should you want to retain a color or style. Laura is really good at looking at photos and duplicating styles. She is not afraid to say 'your hair is too thin or too curly so it won't look like that...but we could do X instead...'. She also was the stylist for my son's wedding. All looked amazing. She even worked with each of us during regular appointments to try out different styles for the big day. I highly recommend her work. I was extremely needy when making my appointment. I contacted them both on the phone multiple times and through Facebook. I rescheduled my appointment about three times. Every time I spoke with them, they were courteous, respectful and accommodating. I finally went and got my hair done today and Natalie was great. She began my appointment with asking what I was thinking I wanted and then we talked about what was possible with the way my hair currently was, keeping it as healthy as possible in the process. While it's not as light as I initially wanted, it looks great and I love the resulting color. Natalie was a great conversationalist, and much better at small talk than I am. As someone who doesn't get my hair done I went for a blonde balayage and was pleased with it until it looked yellow and brassy in every other light. I used purple shampoo as directed by the stylist and wasn't able to fix it so they made another appointment for me so they could fix it. The second time I visited the salon for the toning of the problem they fixed, the staff was nice until I showed them the picture we had used as a reference and then they were basically rushing me out. The stylist only half dried my hair after and left clumps of product in it. My hair is now a grey/purple and I will not be returning. They followed that by trying to make me pay for them having to fix it. Absolutely ridiculous. After getting a passive aggressive reply I would like to clear things up. I did get toner on my first visit, we even had a conversation about the smell of it. The object of "my mom not giving me enough money" was never an issue considering it was something I paid for. I did have money the second visit as well I just shouldn't need to pay for something getting fixed.
