It's been a while since we ordered from Jilliano's Pizzeria, and we chose them last evening. How pleasantly surprised to find the same great products. We started with Antipasto, it was fantastic, the three of us devoured it with pleasure! My wife thoroughly enjoyed her Seafood pizza that has won an award for Jilliano's. Still excellent choice if Seafood is your desire. Highly recommended! My son and I tried the Tropical Chicken BBQ for the first time. What a pleasant surprise we enjoyed. It has Grilled Chicken Breast, Pineapple, Banana Peppers, with a hint of Cinnamon. I enjoyed this minus the Banana Peppers, and my son enjoyed the Banana Peppers. To me was so good, refreshing change from the standard old pizza. It's really worthy of a try by anyone that loves these ingredients. One last word on the ingredients, it's very easy to tell making our purchase from a small independently owned pizza shop that our dinner was made with care, nobody weighing out each ingredient so as not to put too much to save a penny for corporate. Jilliano's is in business to simply give you a great product for dinner. Even though they do not deliver to my area, it's worthy of my drive for such great service, and pizza and no doubt in my mind everything else you would choose to enjoy from them. Went into Jilliano's tonight to pick up pizzas that we had ordered. I was completely shocked to see that the lady preparing the pizzas was not only not wearing gloves but also no face mask. The sign on the door stated masks must be worn to enter but she was not wearing one. The young boy working the counter was wearing a mask but he took payment at counter and then also assisted in finishing the toppings for my Taco Pizza without changing his gloves. I love to support small businesses but if this is how Jilliano's staff and owners handle cleanliness and especially during a pandemic, I will not give them my support. read more

Waited two hours because the driver got lost. Told the girl on the phone when I called that i was concerned about it being hot/fresh. She said it would be fine. She lied. It was neither hot or fresh. The breading on thr mozzarella sticks was mush, the cheese was hard, the pizza was room temperature. The driver finally arrived only gave me half my order and I had to ask for the other half. They didn't charge me, but honestly, I would have rather paid for pizza that was actually hot and good. read more

I last reviewed Jilliano's 2 years ago. We haven't ordered it as much the last year or so because of the Marco's PTO nights. We ordered a few months ago and I didn't really like it but my husband still did. We ordered again last night and something seemed different, even my husband didn't like it. Usually I just stick with the cheesy bread because the pizza sauce is too sweet for me but even that tasted different. Like they started using cheaper ingredients or something. It just didn't taste very good and it's the most expensive pizza place we go to. Think we'll be moving on. 3 stars because my kids ate it and no one got sick so that's positive! Lastly, and I hate to judge a restaurants food by their staff, but every time I've ever ordered, whoever answers the phone and takes the order sounds as if I'm ruining their day. We moved to Lorain about 5 years ago. We have tried a number of Pizza places with mediocre to average selections. Yesterday (11/2) we finally made it to Jullianos. What a pleasant surprise. Ordered a large Signature crust with onions, banana peppers, and sausage. The crust was exceptional, the pizza itself was quite large excellent flavor and enough for two meals. I had to write a review based off the current 1 star that Jo P. felt the need to leave. Jo P, why don't you pretend you're a man and actually SPEAK to the employee if you want something. Way to be passive in life then go and write a bad review on a good business because you can't vocalize your request at a PIZZERIA. Now for the review.... If you live in this area you know there are not many good places to get Pizza. There's mostly just chains, which aren't necessarily bad, the local Domino's actually isn't bad, but that's about where it ends. As far as this area is concerned, Jilliano's is really only 2nd place to Lorenzo's in Oberlin. The staff is friendly and family owned, and I've gotten delivery about a dozen times and it's always timely, about 30 minutes which is fine as I'm about 10 minutes away to start with. They've never forgotten anything (which I can't say for the chains... mostly they always forget the 2L. or sauce(s)) which is a huge plus. Admittedly we've only ever gotten Pizza, wings and salad. All of which were very good and like I said, if you've ever had Lorenzo's you'll know what I'm talking about. The sauce is very good and a little sweet (but not Romeo's sweet, [Read: pure sugar]) and the pizza is always the same quality, which also reminds me of Lorenzo's. So the quality is always the same, it doesn't vary like some chains, where it's a roll of the dice if you're gonna get a different tasting pizza each time. So in the end, I would give the taste of the food 4 stars, the delivery 5 stars, the consistency of quality/taste 5 stars. It's better tasting Pizza than any of the local Pizza Hut's, Domino's, East of Chicago. Like I said, it's really only 2nd to Lorenzo's, but they vary in quality sometimes and I've gotten a few Pizza's that weren't up to normal standard from there.
