Ordered some bread sticks for carry out. This place is downtown Amherst at 5 points. The order was ready on time and service was great. The inside it tastefully decorated. Get the twist.

I ate here one afternoon with my friend for the first time and the service was fast and friendly. They even gave us a fairly large and great tasting pizza-like appetizer which was awesome. Prices are a bit on the higher end only because it is a small business, but I would (and will) visit again. -Ariana

Such a great experience! Brought my family here for something a bit different (we usually get takeout). The server was awesome and the food was amazing! I highly recommend the stuffed crust!

I thought the pizza was just ok. I was not liking the price. $18.99 was a little steep in my book. I just don't see myself being a regular

Good pizza and wings. Pizza dough is always fresh and their pizzas are always consistently good. A little pricy but good.

Even though they took it off their menu, they have the best veggie sub I have found after moving down to this area 3 years ago.

It wasn't busy this Friday night, before 6p; only 2 tables were occupied when I arrived. But during my wait, two more tables came in, plus a doordasher. I ordered the fried polenta, chicken parm, and cacio e pepe. The polenta was pretty tasty! My husband enjoyed the chicken parm. The chicken was thick and very large. My cacio e pepe was just OK. I would return and try something else on the menu. I saw a bunch of butternut squash in the display case, but when I asked what they were used for, the employee said that was still TBD.

I have eaten in Rome and Florence, so I am picky with Italian food and this one is amazing. We started with iced tea and basil lemonade. Although that sounds simple, it was perfect. We had the soft and crispy focaccia with oil dipping sauce followed by a salad with romaine with pepper dressing and shaved Parmesan. Then we had arancini for an appetizer and my husband was sold! He had chicken Parmesan and it was wonderful. The best lasagna I have probably ever had. You have no doubt those pasta sheets are fresh and homemade. Here's my tip.., come early or get a reservation.

The service was attentive, and several people checked on us throughout our meal. I ordered the lobster ravioli, and my daughter ordered the pesto pasta and added chicken. Both dishes were excellent. The lobster ravioli was extremely flavorful, and my daughter really enjoyed the chicken with her pesto. This was some of the best Italian food I've had. This might not be saying a lot because I am from L.A. and we are not known for our Italian food. My only complaint was the bread. Most Italian restaurants offer complimentary bread for the table, but Mia Bella charges extra for it. That wouldn't bother me as much if the bread were something special, but it was extremely ordinary. It was warm, but otherwise pretty tasteless; no garlic, garlic butter, herbs, or anything else to make it memorable. I'd definitely skip the bread and order a legitimate appetizer instead. All in all, the experience was very strong, and I would definitely return.

We had the ricotta & honey crostini, which I'd quite literally rate a 10/10 and I am a strict grader. It was absolutely the best appetizer I've ever had at a restaurant and possibly the best bread I've ever had. The entrees were fantastic, despite a small portion for my ravioli and meatballs. I had some of my parents dishes too which were quite good. Overall I'd rate this place a 9.7/10 and will certainly be bringing my business back in the future!

I ordered the fettuccine Alfredo, became extremely sick after eating it, then ate the leftovers the next day and became sick again. I obviously cannot medically prove what caused it, but getting sick twice immediately after eating the same meal is extremely concerning and something the restaurant should take seriously. What made the experience even worse was the atmosphere. While I was sitting at my table having a normal phone conversation, a waitress came over and told me there had been complaints about me being on the phone. I was not yelling, causing a scene, or disturbing anyone. I was simply speaking on the phone at a normal volume. That is ridiculous. A restaurant is a public social environment. There is no meaningful difference between quietly talking to someone sitting across from you and quietly talking to someone on the phone. If management wants to create an environment where customers are policed for ordinary, non-disruptive behavior because somebody else happens not to like it, that is their choice. But it is also my choice not to spend my money there. Businesses should be focused on serving good, safe food and treating paying customers reasonably--not enforcing outdated social preferences on people who are doing absolutely nothing wrong. Between becoming sick after the meal and then being confronted over an ordinary phone conversation, this was an extremely disappointing experience. I hope Nino's takes a serious look at both the food-quality concerns and the kind of atmosphere they are creating, because this is not how you keep customers coming back.

Under new management, the place has continued the Martello family tradition of great, handcrafted food in a hometown setting, but with a bit of an updated vibe. First, they do a fantastic job with gluten free options, and the chef's specials are phenomenal, also often with a GF capability. They have an artisan pizza crust,; tortellini; penne; and a Parmesan cream sauce -- all GF! The pizza crust is really terrific - much more like a "real" crust (which, their regular pizza is something I miss!) and they provide you with topping options that go from routine to delectably less common. I highly recommend their specials -- the chef is super talented; I love the steak tips; chicken Marsala; and fennel sausage (when they have it). Gluten not an issue -- try everything!! The Caesar salad is quite good, and the house Italian dressing a tradition. Their staff is friendly (shout out to Christina and Kate, and my beautiful friend Angie) the bar staff (the awesome Staci and Diann) who are consistently rated best in the area; and upbeat manager Hailey is a delightful presence. We hosted approximately 40 guests in one of their private event spaces, which included a beautiful patio and provided the perfect setting for our family and friends to come together. The private room gave us the opportunity to share toasts, speeches, memories, and support one another in a comfortable and intimate atmosphere. The food was absolutely outstanding. We selected a variety of appetizers along with an open bar, and every item was delicious. Our guests couldn't stop talking about how wonderful everything was. A special thank you goes to Erin, the manager, who was exceptional from start to finish. She promptly returned calls and emails, met with me personally at the restaurant, and was present throughout the entire event to ensure everything ran smoothly. Her professionalism, compassion, and attention to detail made a difficult time much easier for our family. The staff was equally impressive. Our bartenders were friendly, attentive, and fantastic throughout the evening. As an added touch, the team even packed individual containers of leftover food for guests to take home, which was greatly appreciated. I cannot recommend Antica highly enough. Whether you're planning a celebration, shower, family gathering, or memorial reception, their food, service, and hospitality are truly exceptional. They folks were treated like KINGS - I saw her bring them bread, with oil Twice, they had their glasses refilled, the server kept checking on them and I overheard them talking about their desserts being "comped" Meanwhile, I had to walk to the bar to get a water refill, and when I asked about bread the server said "so sorry, the kitchen is really backed up" (amazing that it wasn't so backed up to get the other table bread twice, and every table in our room had bread, and the kitchen was able to get our food out, but couldn't get us a couple slices of bread over the hour were were sitting there!!!!
