So twice we had to schedule and pay for an emergency trip even though it was their mistake. Now after we moved to a new (much better!) company we were given the final bill and even after many miscellaneous charges we were owed a refund. 6 months later the refund never came so I stopped in the office. I was told they would reprocess it and send to corporate. 3 more months later still no refund and I called and was told that corporate decided we are not owed a refund. I asked for a new itemized final bill that shows this change (of almost a thousand dollars) and was told it would be emailed immediately and I still haven't received. Anyway, moral of the story choose another company no matter what.

The first issue we had was a faulty gauge, which "sticks" so you think you have fuel until you run out. Then not only to they charge you for emergency fuel but instead of fixing the equipment they just turn the gauge sideways on the tank and say "read it like that.". B.S. right? On another occasion, was told they would come on Monday to bring fuel, our usual day is Wednesday but it was a holiday week so I figured that was the reason for Monday. Nope, surprise the driver shows up the Wednesday before Monday (we are c.o.d. so no check no fuel) driver flips out on me because they always come on Wednesday and he tells me I'm lying about the office telling me Monday. Meanwhile, remember c.o.d..... got billed twice, after I paid c.o.d. and check cleared bank. When I call to tell them I shouldn't have a bill they treat you like crap. Now last week called for fuel, was told Monday again, I said are you sure? She says let me ask Larry he's the manager. Yes Monday I'm told. It's Monday no fuel, I call to say hey could you fix this in your office? They put Larry on the phone and he instantly starts screaming at me! Really? This is the management? Seriously stay away they are incompetent, rude and unreliable.

BUT - this Tesoro gas station is completely opposite! There's candy, gum, sunglasses, medicine, coffee, cigarettes, cappuccino, ice cream treats, an auto section (perfect for unexpected break downs), a sitting area in the back, rentable movies, bread, donuts, milk/butter, and an entire wall of drinks to choose from. And that's not even the gist of it. They also have a medium sized liquor store connected to the building! The five-star review was truly earned when I was in witness to their food. Pizza, tacos, fried chicken, salads, nachos, Chinese food, different sorts of fried food, paninis, and even sub sandwiches! On weekdays, the day crew also makes cheeseburgers at times! These people have taken a gas station & they have made it into a subway, pizzahut, KFC, & a taco johns, all in one! I am awed at how the workers can do absolutely ALL OF THAT! You can order anything off their enormous menu over the phone & pick it up, or you can order it there and wait in the seating area (most items don't take the workers that long to make!) I definitely recommend the BBQ Chicken Pizza or the Seafood Sub. Overall, this place is an A+ to me. It's a clean store and the workers are happy to help you out.

The boat was pretty much a no frills 20' pontoon that worked very well and to be honest, had seen its fair share of time on the water. It operated flawlessly and handled very well. Because it wasn't in pristine condition I wasn't overly concerned about every little thing my kids did. Had it been a brand new boat I would have been nervous about anything that they did. We had a small issue with our swimming ladder for getting back onto the boat. We swung by the marina and they hooked us up with a ladder that worked much better. My family had a fantastic time on the boat, their staff was super helpful and friendly, and if we're back in the area again we would ABSOLUTELY rent from them again.

Renters BEWARE!!! Not an ethical business!!…read more Employee who clearly had limited training was left in charge of the business. The water crafts they rent have no safety gauges to include water depth-finder, fuel gauge, trim gaug. Then, they charge renters for chips/dings to props, because they can't effectively raise the trim based on water depth. They told us they intentionally disconnect all gauges because they drain the battery. Also, if you run out of gas (because you have no idea how much gas is even in the boat - no operable gauge), they charge $80-$120 service fee to come and put gas in the boat. Lastly, when we expressed concern about the lack of operable gauges, and safety concerns on our specific pontoon, the young man who was left in charge said he would process a specific refund amount. Instead he charged us an additional $118 For a gift card! What?!?! Then it took over an hour and a half for the owner to show up - after several calls, and the owner sending other young kids to try to help. He finally refunded the fraudulent charge for the gift card, and the refund, only to REVERSE both after we left, so we were being charged the full amount PLUS an additional $118 for a gift card purchase we never made and never received. Our credit card company confirmed the credit and refund were reversed. We tried to file a claim with the sheriffs office for fraudulent credit card activity. They told us they went out to the business and he showed them his system where he credited our account. The sheriff believed him and told us, if he doesn't refund the fraudulent charge, we need to hire an attorney and take him to small claims court. I wonder how many others he has done this to... look at the other reviews and find out.

Prices aren't unreasonable on there items either. Bathrooms are always clean. The car wash that is available is also really nice. Disappointing that the A&W that was in here closed down. We always liked to eat there.

You can't do that at McDonald's, unless you're in your truck at the drive through. It's a great place to eavesdrop on the conversations of local farmers and trades people, swapping stories of hunting dogs and honey-do chores abandoned for more noble pursuits, like fishing. In the height of summer, the folks from the Cities come to air out their $400,000 cabins, and they bring down the tone of the place with their dissolute teens staring glumly at their own knuckles as the adults discuss golf and office politics. For those of you roadtrippers looking for Minnesota adventure: go. Visit the giant foot statue, or the giant cockroach on a pliers statue. Or the green alien statue.
