She also identified an additional concern and walked me through my service options without any pressure. My wife and I spent days talking to a salesman through text messages and emails to get questions answered. We were shown pictures and given the "out the door" price on a 2026 Equinox. We told the salesman that we were coming from two hours away. We arrived and were told our salesman left for a funeral. A different salesman told us the person taking pictures made a mistake and would lose their job. The car was not there and the car did not exist and was not made with the options we were told that was on the car. We were shown two different cars that were much more expensive. The salesman said his manager was going take a loss on one of the cars shown "to make it right". We asked for the manager and was told he was in the restroom. After more than 20 minutes, the manager showed up. He told us that the other "wrong car that did not exist" had been loaned out to the disabled brother of the service manager and could be brought back if we waited. No one could explain how or why cars depicted and listed on the website didn't exist and were not made with the advertised option package. This was a scam from the start and everyone at the dealership was lying. As for the car we wanted, it was made with the options we were seeking. We have bought over four vehicles from this place! We have enjoyed the service from them! We always purchased a five year warranty for any vehicle we purchase. I questioned our warranty in July because I knew that it was 107,000 miles but no one said oh... It's just for three years. So our AC went out and I took it in and I was dumbfounded to find out that the warranty was up because it was only for three years. I am not happy and I feel like communication should have been made from The company to let us know that it was expiring. They will tell you their bending over backwards to get you a deal, but any rebates they give you will be nullified by extra fees and you'll pay way more than the actual retail price. I had previously left a review with 2 Stars due to the experience I had and with the text messages received instead of phone calls from Finance Manager Faith. After posting my review I was given the GMs number, after speaking with Billy Caperton I was given the option to either have the motor covers ordered and the undercarriage sprayed with black clear coat to cover up the paint that splashed after previous owner ran over paint bucket, or I could come and do an exchange on another vehicle or if I wanted to cancel all together. I went over yesterday, and test drove a couple vehicles. I decided to go with a Nissan Rogue they had since I believe in loyalty and him caring enough about a customer to do what is right. I am not sure why last week when I went that I wasn't shown this particular Rogue when I was shown another. Would definitely have saved time and probably a bad review to start. As well as another Hard Hit on my credit report, which I really don't understand since I had already been preapproved and made a purchase and was simply trading out. I was treated fairly on the price and enjoyed the Salesperson who was by far more knowledgeable than the first. She had no issue taking as much time as I needed to make the right decision. When purchasing Vehicle, 2016 Silverado 2500HD Duramax, Jim Norton had begun their Family Plan Free Oil Changes for life. This was mentioned several times by the salesman, it was reiterated as a point of savings in ownership costs by the sale manager and again by the Finance Manager. Though we remember signing paperwork to that effect, that piece of paper is missing from our copies. When picking up the vehicle we were surprised to see a charge for this service. The cashier explained that the free service did not apply to Diesel Trucks and called the Service Manager, who went to see our Sales Manager. Though the Sales Manager, Bryant Valencia, was in the Managers Office, we were told he was no longer a manager and could not approve the charges. He refused to speak to us. I feel we were purposely mislead, the reaction in service was not one of surprise but one of; 'Here's another one.' Service department is one of the biggest jokes I've ever seen in my life. I go in with a check engine light to replace the 02 sensor. They had told me it would be $500 to fix this. Their "expert" tells me that it's just resetting of the EOS system and charged me $180. Check engine light comes back on with the same code 02 sensor and they tell me now it would be $800. The quote they had given me previously from their "expert" he states was for a C6 and not a C7 Corvette. Basically lured me in with a cheaper price came up with some stupid diagnosis of resetting the system to get an extra $180 and then charge me $800. "I'll call you in about ten minutes" has turned into over four hours with me leaving messages. They clearly do/did not care about me and my needs. They need to take customer service lessons from their service department. For used cars, they are definitely not on the level of other dealerships. The day after the fiasco, my wife had her car serviced there. I did not but from them. They tried to use intimidation tactics with my wife to get me to buy the car. I had a cleaning crew that worked in many Tulsa area dealerships for years and my workers would always tell me that they overheard conversations at the dealers while working. They said only Jim Norton salesmen treated all of their customers respectfully and honestly. So I went there to buy my last truck. I was treated great, paid more for my trade in than I had been offered elsewhere and everyone was very friendly. When I got home I noticed something was not correct. The vin # on my truck pulled up a different model package than what was advertised on their website. I was having huge buyer remorse as I realized I paid too much for my new (used) truck! I drove back to the dealer expecting the worst. But they listened to me, then looked everything up and discovered the truck had been listed with the wrong description. The experience as the driver of an auto accident had never been known to me. But, after an auto accident back in early November, 2018, it was shocking to learn how things play out. Three weeks after a lady failed to yield and made a left hand turn in front of me, it was a process I was forced to learn. With my insurance check in my hand I sought to buy a car. This was to be another first: solo buyer. Big mistake to go to a car lot alone. I will spare you the fine details. This review was delayed so not to be to emotional and filter my words. I was dealing with my injuries and the injuries of my 12 year old, my elderly father was just hospitalized and had to drive my disabled mother back and forth to see him each day and had been given my insurance check so late, I was paying the daily car rental fee out of my own pocket. My mission was to own a truck. Well, it was just a silly dream, I just need to be given a reality check by someone who knew cars! Silly me. I requested to see three cars after being told no way would I ever afford a truck. It was disappointing to know the check I had was only half of the amount of what I paid for my now wrecked and totaled, fully loaded Highlander! Now I had to step over my hopes of owning a truck. I was literally laughed at by the salesman. I was given the opportunity to drive only two of the three cars I asked to test drive. He had reason to believed it would waste his time, because he seemed to know better than I did as to what I would like and what I would be buying. Wrong. After what seemed like an hour of telling him no I am not buying a car that night, I drove the vehicles home. It was against his wish and it upset him. After all, he said his wife owed the same car, so of course, he just knew I would love it. No! And, there were obvious reasons the car should have never been an option to buy in the first place. I brought it back and asked to work with someone else. This time I drove the second car home for a test drive. Again, I was feeling pressure and when I asked about the service light being on he said not to worry his guys would take car of it. I was spending time with doctors and my parents to see past the beauty of this fine ride. Finally, I got the check to Will, who is a nice man. Due to my timing they would not be able to cut me a check for the difference. In fact it would take a week since after the weekend there was Thanksgiving. I understood. What has me upset is the "Service Engine Soon" light came on after I put fuel in the car. It's apparent no one at this business repaired the issue as to why it was on as I was told. ANOTHER disappointment and VERY LOW THING, the vehicle came with two name brand headsets to match the speakers in the car. Me, my daughter and a few friends saw them. When I was given to key and a few days had past, I discovered the torn plastic baggie of cheap plastic headsets in the console where the nice pairs had been during the test drive. How can a company get by with such false representation? When it came time to receive the cash back and the amount for the tag, title and tax, it was a bit of an ordeal. I was told they didn't know what I was talking about at first. Then I was hung up on because the call wouldn't transfer. Then when I spoke to the lady upstairs I was made to feel like I was bothering or interrupting her day. Unfortunately, that small amount of left over money now goes to a shop for repairs. Also, I am stuck with cheap headsets that were not what I was lead to believe I would own. But the worst pain from the experience.... only one key. And with now some time on my hands here I finally pull out this here review draft I have been wanting to complete. I am stuck home now because I lost the only key I was given. I am without a spare. It will cost over $400 to get one made. So many hard life lessons at once for this single mom. I'm in tears being stuck and having missed an important doctor appointment and school meeting knowing I can't know when to reschedule because I don't have the money to fix my only means of transportation! read more

I took my truck in on 4-24-2018 for the 5000 mile oil change and tire rotation. I also wanted them to investigate a driveline clunking noise I have been experiencing. I bought the truck used. It's a 2012 Sliverado LS 2WD. After almost 3 hours in their real nice waiting area the Service advisor came out to speak with me. He goes into this elaborate explanation of how they pulled the driveshaft , checked all the components of the driveline then hands me a bullitin dated 3-29-2017 (a month after I purchased this truck) that states "Dealers are discouraged from attempting to repair driveline clunk conditions" then he proceeds to tell me all of my fluids need to be replaced because of leaks that are starting to form at the bare bones cost of over $1000.00. There is nothing leaking on my truck. I have only put a little over 9,000 miles since I bought this truck 15 months ago. I asked to give me detailed info about these repairs and I'll get back with them at a later date. Meanwhile it appears this clunk sound is a design flaw that Chevrolet/GM can't or won't fix. The internet is full of stories like mine dating back to 2007. I see a new Nissan or Toyota truck in my near future. read more

My recent encounter with Jim Norton Chevrolet appears to have been a "bait and switch" sales ploy. They baited me by saying they would pay $5,000 for a trade-in, but after driving 2 hours to this dealership, they switched their offer to only a $2,500 trade-in. I contacted Jim Norton Chevrolet in Broken Arrow, OK on the evening of Friday, April 28, 2017 after close of business. Suzy from Jim Norton Chevrolet contacted me the next morning in the same form that I had contacted them, text message. I was interested in purchasing a red Nissan Versa Note SL they had listed for $12,500 and asked if they would accept $5000 off if I used my in-laws 2002 convertible Pontiac Firebird with ~100,000 miles, to which they agreed. I sent the VIN number to them on Saturday, April 29, 2017 and I discussed $5000 as a trade in on the Firebird with Courtney Clark, the sale associate who said she confirmed it with her manager. Because of this agreement, I agreed to a $500 non-refundable deposit to secure the Nissan. After this, I was informed about documentation fees of $409 and explained that this was over my budget, as the car was already $1500 over my intended budget. Scott asked if I was paying with cash or a loan, and I told him that I could pay either way, whichever was best for the dealership. I told Scott that if he could waive the fees then he could charge the deposit to my credit card, if he could not, then I did not authorize the deposit. He indicated that they would waive the fees if I paid cash, so I agreed to pay cash for the remainder of the vehicle. My credit card was run for the amount of $500, and I assumed the fees were waived, and this was confirmed to me by the sales representative, Courtney, on Monday, May 1, 2017. We made arrangements to meet the next day. The Firebird has been garage kept under a cover for the majority of its life, and had been sitting for a while due to my in-laws not driving it (it is my in-laws car that they no longer wanted). When we uncovered the car, the back glass slipped out of the convertible top, but it did not break. My in-laws and I discussed the repair and then contacted Courtney to inform her of the dislodged window and that we would fix it before we brought it. Courtney said that she showed the pictures that I sent her to her manager and she told me that since it was an easy fix and they were planning on sending the car to auction anyway, it would not affect the $5000 trade-in that they had agreed to. With that, we had the title notarized, I acquired a babysitter for my children, and I drove 2 hours on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 (my only day off) to Broken Arrow from Norman. Once I arrived at the dealership, I alerted Courtney that the left tail light was out, but I had picked up the bulb so it just needed to be installed and that the car drove great on the journey. They took the Firebird in to check it was indeed what I had agreed to bring. Next I was informed that my Firebird had a "dirty Carfax" and they would only give me $2500 for it. Please remember, they had the VIN and a picture of the green title on Saturday and prior to me placing a deposit. Courtney told me that she had prepared the documentation for a $5000 trade-in value. Courtney showed me that NADA appraised it for $2550-5825, but that they could only give me $2500 for it. We have been trying to privately sell the Firebird for $5000 and recently received offers in the $3500-4000 range. Courtney also reminded me that I had placed a non-refundable deposit on the Nissan when I did not agree to pay them the difference. Only after I showed her the text message that said they had agreed to $5000 trade on the Firebird, did they begrudgingly refunded my deposit and filled my Firebird with gas. Courtney apologized for the inconvenience, and agreed that I tried to be as upfront and honest with them as I possibly could, which makes me feel as though this was a bait and switch technique. I understand that business is business, and that they have to make money, but I am a busy professional who would not have made the 2 hour drive had we not had an agreement already in place. Had they been honest with me about what they wanted for the Firebird as a trade-in value we could've come up with a mutually beneficial solution and I would've purchase the Nissan. Less than 12 hours of me leaving the dealership and on Wednesday, May 3, 2017, I have been additionally contacted by Courtney at Jim Norton Chevrolet to inform me that they have dropped the price of the Nissan to $11,800.
