I spent months searching for a specific 2026 LC 500 with the Dynamic Handling Package--a vehicle hand-built by Takumi engineers. I thought buying from a reputable dealership like Lexus of Tulsa would guarantee professionalism. I was wrong. This was not a transaction; it was a masterclass in negligence and arrogance. If you are an out-of-state buyer considering shipping a vehicle from here, read this first. 1. The Financial Red Flags The lack of transparency started immediately. The finance department sent me wire instructions before even providing a Bill of Sale. When I requested an itemized Bill of Sale for my bank records, I was met with resistance and asked, "Why does the bank need it?" I was left waiting at my bank for a document they claimed was a "large file glitch," only to receive a simple one-page PDF after I wired the full MSRP. Once they had my money, communication regarding my specific requests virtually ceased. 2. Dangerous Shipping Practices I paid a $2,500 premium flat fee for what I was told would be professional, enclosed transport. Instead of using a reputable carrier, the dealership used a broker who subcontracted a carrier with a staggering 63.2% Driver Out-of-Service (OOS) rate--nearly 10 times the national average. They released my $111,000 vehicle with a BLANK Bill of Lading, failing to record the odometer mileage, stripping me of legal protection. I was denied the ability to arrange my own shipping because "this is what we do." 3. The "Rescue" Deception My car ended up stranded in Kansas on a "permanent police hold" due to the carrier's safety violations. The driver turned off the GPS tracking, leaving me in the dark. When I pressed the dealership for answers, I was told a "rescue driver" was coming and assured that the car would remain on the same trailer. This was false. The car was transferred to a different trailer in an unsupervised public parking lot--a critical risk for a low-clearance supercar. I only found out because I had to play detective myself. 4. Arrogant Leadership: When I escalated this to the General Manager, Timothy Williams, hoping for empathy or a solution, I was met with an egotistical and dismissive attitude. Instead of offering assurance or taking accountability for vetting a dangerous carrier, he simply told me he could turn the truck around if I didn't like it and give me a full refund back on my car. Sensing the lack of confidence from him, I took the offer. He treated a milestone life achievement as a nuisance. 5. The Final Insult: Once the car was delivered back to them, the General Manager attempted to renegotiate by offering a small discount--but only if I handled the shipping myself (a complete reversal of their earlier policy). I declined. To top it off, after I had to take time off work to overnight the title back to them to get my refund, they refused to cover the $48 FedEx fee. After compromising a six-figure deal through their own negligence, this pettiness was the final straw. Conclusion: Lexus preaches "Omotenashi" (wholehearted hospitality), but this dealership practice transactional indifference. They took my money, risked my asset with a cheap carrier, lied about the logistics, and dismissed my concerns. If I could give a -100 I would. I have always loved my service people at Lexus of Tulsa, but they eventually moved on, so I got stuck with two idiots. Anyway, I was in for service at the end of Sept for an oil change, super simple, right?! OMG! After my service my TPS sensors never worked again. Why, well because they went out mysteriously, which was $700 to replace both. My tires were low, which I knew so I bought new tires. What the jerks didn't tell me was that my break fluid was like mud and my rotors were warped, all 4!!! How in the world do you miss that?! Thank goodness I live in another city with better Lexus dealers because I will never return to Lexus of Tulsa when Im in town. read more

Took it home and troubleshot it for thirty minutes , tightened the spare tire and it's fixed. Wasted several hours and it wasn't fixed. By the dealer. I flew in from out of state which included buying plane tickets, hotel etc. I had an OTD price which includes tax, title and license... Thats what out the door means.. after I picked up the car they told my finance company I didn't pay tax, title etc. I am now getting charged for everything that we had in writing via email on top of the agreed upon price. This dealer will do whatever it takes to steal your money. Whatever you do.. do not deal with Kevin or Margus at this dealership. Arrogance and condescending are good descriptors for my brief encounter with a sales person named Benedeck (sp?) at Tulsa Lexus. Spring 2021 I agreed to purchase at full ask price a used RX350. However after 15 minutes of dealing with this individual on my trade, a CRV Honda, and his total low ball offer, I simply walked out of the dealership. It's fine to make an offer on a used car, and then agree to disagree. But the hubris, arrogance, and completely condescending unprofessional approach is uncalled for. This individual made four huge mistakes: 1. he failed to sell me the 350 at full ask as I was ready to buy right then, 2. he didn't buy my CRV of which the dealership would have made a very respectable 25% margin on, 3. he lost the sale of a GX460 I subsequently purchased, and finally, 4. he failed to win a 25 year Lexus owners relationship. I have a 2002 Lecus RX300 with 154,000 miles. After getting an oil change from this dealer January 2012, the engine complete broke down 2k miles later with NO oil in it. Dealer kept saying it was an oil leak. We have 2 independent mechanics inspected the car and there was no trace of a leak. NO oil residue underneath the car. No oil residue in the exhaust. No oil residue under the hood. So where did it go?? The dealer could not answer. They flat out forgot to put enough oil in it. We've always gotten oil changes at this dealer. 30+ visits. 1st upsetting experience at the Lexus dealership. I called Monday (11/18/2019) to schedule to get my car repaired. I asked can I come in tomorrow or Wednesday, and she asked, do I need a loaner car and I said yes of course. so she said the earliest lexus would have a loaner car is today, which is Thursday (11/21) and we agreed on the appointment at 2:15. The gal was very pleasent. so today, I left work to run an errand to drop my car off. I came to Lexus dealership today right on time at about 2:14. the people that work at the service desk were very nice. they went to get my advisor and they told me he is not in his office, he must have left somewhere so wait. which is totally fine normally but since what happened today I will bring every point up. I waited for about 15 minutes, and it was pretty cold today. so finally when my advisor came and we agreed on the price of $120 for diagnose. he told me it won't be long, maybe 30 to 45 minutes. and I let him know that I needed to go back to work but if it's only up to 45 minutes then okay I will wait if I have to. But I really do need to go back to work. okay so I waited for about 40 mins which would be about 3:10. he came back and said okay they figured that my cigarette lighter Outlet wasn't working because it was missing a fuse. which is fine, but I guess if it takes them that long to figure out a fuse. Wow lol. and at that time, I was still totally fine with waiting. so he tells me the mechanic is now trying to figure out about the main reason why I'm here which is, why is my USB and aux not playing music and the whole screen for the two part is grayed out. I told him that I read online forums and they said maybe my software needs to be update if nothing else can fix it. he tells me to wait another 20-30 minutes. it took him over an hour to come back to me. it was about 4:20 when he came back. he said that the mechanic said maybe the USB is not working because I have an after-market wire but I said no. It's directly from Samsung. and then he said, well he doesn't know what else to say and then the impression he gave me now was this is the end of it. and then he goes to charge me $68 and some change, just to find out that I needed a fuse for the cigarette lighter. which was fine and I paid for it but at that time I haven't spoken up about how I feel yet. then I asked him, why am I paying only $68 and not the whole $120 that we agreed on? he said yeah that's it. We're going to charge you what the mechanic told me to charge you $68. I told him that if I knew I was going to be here that long, why did I not get a rental car? he said all the rental car is out there's no more. he said that they called and reschedule with all the customer that was short on the rental car. well, I was one customer they did not call. and he didn't even tell me about it when I first got there nor waited so long. so I started to get a little bit upset at about how this played out. and I wasn't in the mood to argue or anything so I kept it to myself that I didn't say anything else about that. so he tells me my only problem is I need to go buy an oem wire and my USB would work to play audio. and that I can go home and we are done. and I told mine cord came with my phone from Samsung. and he says he doesn't know what else to say. then I said can you please find out why is my USB and aux tab under audio is grayed out. I said why didn't your mechanic look into that. I said I am willing to pay the whole $120 we talked about. and then he said okay can you come back next week. I said so can I leave my car here and take a rental car and he said no there is nothing. so I figured he got me waiting there for about 2 hours and 30 minutes was because they didn't have a rental car. instead of telling me to come back he got me waiting even though I told him I need to go back to work. I thought he was very inconsiderate and not caring, he didn't care about my work, that I had to work and be somewhere. while he was here working and making money. Then finally says there was a few more tests that the mechanic didn't do, and that they will do when I come back next week. you know, I am upset because this was the main reason why I came and they did't even bother to solve it. they tried to tell me to go home and act like nothing happened. had got me paid $68 for nothing. I had to push him and tell him this is important that's why it's my main reason taking my car here and I had to ask him to explain why is the USB greyed out for him to finally admit there's a few more tests to be done. which he didn't care about. and he also never bothered to tell me there was more test. I have to push him and let him know I was little frustrated for him to tell me there was more things that could be checked. and I reminded him that I already told him earlier that I check online and the forum said that the last thing to check would be a software update. and he read more

I don't know anyone who enjoys the car shopping experience, but Lexus of Tulsa takes the pain out of it with approachable, friendly sales staff that do not pressure. They know they have a quality product and the cars speak for themselves. I appreciated the tutorial on operating the technology in my new car and they even followed up later to make sure I didn't have further questions. The service department staff has always been helpful, accommodating and friendly (my husband has Lexus as well). The only disappointment we have noticed lately is that courtesy cars do not seem to be as readily available as they used to be, so I'm sitting in the waiting area for my first service. The waiting area is comfortable and they offer drinks, snacks and there are tv's. I would suggest maybe making service appointment further out to ensure a loaner is available. read more

I took my RX 350 in for a regular oil change after waiting over 2 and 1/2 hours they come and tell me that there is a problem that the threads have come out when they try and put the drain plug back in. They tell me this happens quite frequently, so they are going to put in a oversize bolt (Which is going to cost me $115.00 and I said You Got to be Kidding). Almost a hour later the tell me there going to put me in a loner, and they send me on my way. So the next day they call me late in the afternoon and tell me that the oversized bolt didn't work and that they would have to put in a NEW Oil Pan $ 883.00 I said you're crazy I come in for a simple oil change and tire rotation. I said that I would have to make some phone calls. Lexus of Tulsa called me a little while later and said that they would eat the labor if I would pay for the part. Which was $318.18 once again I told them that this was the biggest rip-off ever. So I didn't have much choice I couldn't take it anywhere else couldn't drive it so I told them to go ahead and fix it I had no choice. Once again it was late in the afternoon they didn't get finished they called me the next morning at 8:36 and said it was ready. I found a car on Cars.com that I was interested in so I began communicating with Aaron regarding the specifics of the car. I was, at the same time discussing a similar car with a dealer in OKC. The stark contrast helped make our decision. We were provided the CarFax and all additional records we requested. Aaron went above and beyond to provide specific information and history of the car. We traveled from Kansas City and knew we may be risking a long drive if the car wasn't as described. Upon arriving we were warmly welcomed in this gorgeous facility. The process took less than an hour and we drove away with a car more beautiful than I even imagined. The car is impeccable. We appreciate everyone we worked with and have been very very happy with our car for several months now. Having worked with finer dealers we have encountered a lot of pretentious attitudes. This just wasn't the case with Lexus of Tulsa. We will absolutely trust this dealer with any future purchases. read more

After working with a couple of other car dealers and getting the usual pushy car salesmen attitude we went to Lexus of Tulsa. We noticed an immediate difference when we walked onto the lot. While it was obvious we were at a dealership and the salesman came outside to greet us he wasn't pushy, but friendly and helpful. After more shopping and pushy salesmen and even more pushy management or closers we decided we were tired of the game and went back to Lexus of Tulsa where we looked up the kind salesperson, Kent Procter, told him we were ready to talk more about a purchase. Mr. Procter was very kind, knowledgeable, the kind of service you receive when you go to a high end hotel or restaurant looking for a better quality service at a known price. After negotiating a respectable price based on all research possible we settled and the purchase was quick and painless. From the sales experience we were taken to the closing where we were offered extended warranty packages. Normally this is the second time you get the, "you really need it and should buy it beat down". Instead we were advised of the different plans and the value added in each option. After signing all paperwork we were then taken to our car by the Delivery Specialist, Brittani Johnson, who was one of the most kind, and sincere young lady who was as excited to show us our new vehicle as we were to receive it. She didn't rush her time but instead treated us as if she was only here for us and time was no issue. If you are asking yourself, "Should I, or shouldn't I?" Don't think about it.
