This is my go to taco place for a reason. It's very consistent incredibly affordable and the drive-through is actually very good. They rarely screw up my order and the food is always very fresh. Jimboy's is one of those places I always forget exist but it's super good every time I do go. This location is in a sort of weird area and the drive-thru is a little funky. That being said the food is always good and the employees are super nice. It's on the slow side compared to other fast food places but the quality is better. I order my food drive-through and I order from more than three people like around $25 and I asked for a few sauces and the girl gave me only two sauces in the bag and I had to stop my car in the parking lot and had to go inside to get a few sauces and employee told me that we are allowed to give out only two sauces by drive-through orders and you want us to park our car in the parking lot and come inside for more sauces, If we are ordering drive-through there's no make sense. read more

I've seen this place during plenty of trips up north but we never stopped here. It was a shame, because i think the place was pretty good. An old school mashup of fast food and fast casual, we chose to dine in and take in the whole experience. I ordered some tacos and a taco enchilada, not really knowing what to expect from the later. Honestly, I actually loved the taco enchilada. I was really surprised by how tasty stuffing normal taco meat into a tortilla doused in taco sauce could be, but man I was loving it! I go here every time I get my oil changed across the street. Most of the food isn't bad. I especially like their tacos, but I can't get over how dang expensive it is to basically eat slightly upgraded Taco Bell off a foam plate, when for the same price I can grab a lunch special at an actual Mexican restaurant with freshly made tortillas, complimentary chips & salsa, and the whole Mexican restaurant ambiance. This location in particular is pretty shabby. I was there yesterday & it was freezing in there. I noticed a space heater on the salsa bar. I remember it being roasting hot in there during the summer, too. They either don't have or don't use central heating & air conditioning on a regular basis. Makes for an uncomfortable dining in experience. And make sure you won't need to use the bathroom while there. It's usually filthy because they have issues with homeless people sneaking in the there to wash up. But if you do go, try the tacos! read more

I ordered a 9 dollar meal; the drive thru girl told me she accidentally charged my card 39 dollars and asked if I was okay with getting my refund in cash. I told her no- put it back on my card. She gets the "manager" to help her... this takes awhile. She then tells me it's been refunded but I was checking my account and it hadn't. I told her I wanted to speak to the manager and then said I wanted a refund. She asked for the food back ( not very sanitary considering we're in a pandemic and all). The manager then tells me they aren't going to serve ME anymore and slammed the window in my face.. because his employee made an error? I wasn't being irate and was being quite calm considering the situation but the manager or owner, or whoever he was, did NOTHING to make the situation right. Just had delicious tacos for lunch. Cod Tacos! Highly recommend. Everything I've had here has been wonderful. But I highly recommend the fish tacos. I love this place! When we are craving a quick Mexican meal, this is the way to go. The tacos are dusted with a cheese, and the shells are very crispy. The enchiladas with shredded beef are mouth watering, and the salsas they offer are fairly decent. My daughter always chooses the kids meal with a taco. Comes with several side items. For a "fast food joint" it can get a little pricey, but it is worth it just to get the tacos. Drive thru is available, and I appreciate them for that. Highly recommend. read more

Slow AF and rude girls working at the window. I ordered street tacos and got regular tacos. The girl refunded me 1.58. It seems like I should hVe got more back then that. No napkins, no apology.
