There was so much liquid of some sort in the burritos that they were soggy when we received them! The super burrito was no different than the regular burrito except it cost $3 more! All that we could detect on the burritos was the protein (barely any carnitas), soggy beans, soggy lettuce and rice. I just don't get it... Loud music making it hard to talk and sloowwww service cinched the deal... just a surprisingly bad experience.

I originally came here for the molcahete ( my favorite ). After talking to the nice waiter (Pepe) I realized it would be hard to transport such a large dish into my ice chest since it comes out boiling hot. I decided on the 2 enchilada plate ( carne asada) that came with rice and beans with a generous amount of guac and sour cream! Huge plate! Everything was very tasty! I love the complimentary salsa bar with warm chips! Several spicy options! Love the variety they have ( see picture). I had to try everything! Plenty of leftovers! It was a Great experience with nice employees ( thanks Pepe!). Very clean inside! They have a nice selection of beer as well. I will definitely be back with my boyfriend so we can sit down and enjoy their molcahete with chicken and beef and shrimp!

I met the owner JUAN and he said they have been in business for 58 years! I certainly can see why! I ordered the 2 beef enchiladas with rice and beans. It also came with soup and warm fresh tortillas. Complimentary chips and salsa. Both the ground beef and shredded beef enchiladas were tasty! I tried a few bites of everything and it was delicious! The chicken soup was flavorful with corn. The red salsa was mild but the green salsa was awesome because it was spicy and tasty! YUM! They have a full bar and special margaritas. I had a nice chilled chardonnay with lunch. They also have a lady near the front making fresh tortillas. It was a really great experience with quick service and friendly employees ! I normally always go for the traditional green aguachile, but surprisingly the red sauce ended up being my favorite! It definitely has some serious heat, so be prepared if you're sensitive to spice. It is very clean inside with plenty of seating. I ordered the 2 item combo which was carne asada enchilada and a chicken tamale. It came with rice and beans. I had them split the tamale with half red and half green sauce. Very delicious! Chicken was moist and tender. The enchilada was good too with alot of flavor! I liked that they had complimentary chips and different salsas. I like it spicy! They also have beer and sodas available. I am obsessed with molcahete dishes ( served in an urn type bowl) but they are hard to travel with because they are very hot! Love their menu! The owner...ROSA.. was very warm and friendly! We ordered the tripa and al pastor tacos, an asada burrito, botana a la cora, and a pineapple agua fresca. The shrimp in the botana were big and flavorful, although the dish was a little salty for our taste. The tacos were actually really good--full of flavor and well-seasoned. We were also surprised by how big the burrito was for the price; definitely a great value! The pineapple agua fresca was perfectly balanced--not overly sweet, which we really appreciated. We also loved the large cups of water, a small detail that makes a difference! The customer service was very friendly and attentive, and we're definitely looking forward to coming back to try more items from the menu. Overall, this is a great Mexican restaurant!
