This has been one of the worst experiences I have ever had dealing with any company, period. Instead of providing all cancellation requirements upfront, this company continues engaging in an endless back-and-forth process while continuing to bill the customer. Every time something is submitted, another requirement suddenly appears. It feels intentionally designed to delay cancellation rather than assist the customer. This is terrible business practice and an extremely frustrating experience. Future customers should be aware of what they may be dealing with before signing up.

Two things stood out. First, he answers questions -- real ones, in writing. I sent him a long list of detailed coverage questions that most agents would have brushed off with "don't worry, you're covered." Patrick went through them point by point, and when he didn't have an answer he went to his underwriter and came back with one. He also shopped multiple carriers for both property and flood rather than defaulting to one, and gave me a full range of deductible and premium options instead of picking for me. Second, he told me what he couldn't do. On one coverage layer, he was upfront that the only market available to him wouldn't settle claims the way I needed, so he wasn't going to sell it to me. That's an agent saying no instead of offering something that looks fine on paper. I'd rather hear that once than find out at claim time. If you have a rental property and coverage questions that don't have easy answers, Patrick is worth calling.
