They send a letter with factiously low quote supposedly based on public data. Then then request data on the home which matched the public data. No response foe weeks, no response to my follow up email, no response to my 1st voice message. Finally say they can't even match present rate. They are a complete waste of time. read more

I wanted to switch my auto insurance to another company. In June 2025 I asked my agent, Alex Santopietro, to find me another company. He began ghosting me. I did get him on the phone the first part of Aug. and reminded him that my policy was due Aug. 20th. He assured me he'd have policies for me to consider before then. You'll see today's review date, Aug. 18th 2025, 2 days before my renewal. It means I'm going to renew my current policy while I look for another firm to help me. I dealt with this company for a couple of years and they just switch insurances and don't really understand the type of insurance needed. I am in a townhome and the agent had me in a single family home policy that I did not realize. After doing some research because my premium was really high for a condo I discovered this on my own. I received a letter in the mail claiming they could provide me a homeowners policy including wind coverage for less than half of what I currently pay. I was skeptical believing this was probably just a "come-on" letter to get you on the phone and then hard sell you into a higher-priced policy. I was correct. The gentleman I spoke with immediately began hedging about the written quote saying there may be circumstances that could increase the premium. I answered all of his questions and matched my current coverage. As expected, his real quote was more than what I paid and he had a slew of excuses for why this happened. Then he wanted to try and hawk auto and business insurance pretending that there could be discounts by purchasing several policies. I heard enough, wished him well, and hung up. This appears to be the real bait-and-switch scam. They are going after unsuspecting homeowners dreaming of a lower home insurance policy. But, Floridians know we are going to be screwed forever. If you want to live in FL, be prepared to pay BIG for hurricane coverage. read more

DO NOT use these crooks, was good at first, they set me up with a company that saved me a lot, BUT, a couple months later, get a cancellation notice, NO phone call, NO reach out, saying, hey, we have a couple issues, they tell me , pool is not taken care of, trash in the yard, yes, that was from a fire, and THEY KNEW that was being worked on when the inspector came, and is done now, BUT, they also sent pics of 'shade' on the roof , NOT trees hanging over, just 'shade', they wanted everything cut that had any shade on the roof, and Marshal when i was talking with them on the phone, even looked at the pics, and said, yes, i don't see any trees over the roof, did NOTHING about it, was removed from their mailing list, they refused to answer any calls, maybe they have relatives working where they set up these 'deals' ??? very shady people, read more

This is a "bait and switch" company. They send a letter confirming insurance premium, just to change the premium when I called their office.

I have received several letters from these guys over the years. They're a legitimate insurance agency, but their methods of marketing leave much to be desired. Getting the phone to ring is their modus operandi. It's a serious game of bait and switch. Sort of like throwing a bunch of you know what on the wall and seeing what will stick. I received the same form letter as others have stated here. This one was from My Nguyen promising insurance coverage for less than half my current policy which is not being renewed. I suspect but can't prove that my current insurance agent gave my information to an insurance company so they could come in a slightly less that 20% of what I'm paying now. This situation is a total mess and you're probably better off dealing directly with an insurance company rather than a seedy agent. Anyway, stay away from Marshall.
