We went to the one on Creasy Ln in front of Menards and the crew was more interested in their dinner. They had Popeyes chicken spread out all over a table. We ate in the store in front of the front window so they couldn't really see us and I don't believe they remembered we were even there because they all were laughing really loud and then one of them yelled very loudly. Terrible service. Drive thru took 10min to make the sandwich when the shop seemed to have no customers. They got my order wrong, so i went back in to fix and and the folks in there where all the sudden confused and couldent remember my order after they just made it. Kid behind the counter has one speed and thats slow. He finished the sandwiches then forgot he was in the food industry and started cleaning his station, forgetting to hand me my food. Levi, the general manager, was great to work with on a large catering order. He was patient, answered all of my questions, and was so pleasant to work with. The order was ready on time. We were able to get mayo and mustard packets on the side for our 7 party boxes. There was one minor item that wasn't as intended on our veggie sandwiches, but I may not have communicated that clearly. Overall, still 5 stars! Wouldn't hesitate using them again. read more

Jimmy John's is my go-to when I am traveling for work and need to grab a quick lunch. I've visited this location twice this week and each time my food has been excellent and service has been very friendly. All the ingredients on my veggie sub were very fresh. Lettuce was crisp, tomatoes were red, ripe, and full of flavor. Bread was fresh, tasted like it just came out of the oven. I always add Jimmy peppers and onions to my sub, and a side of Kickin' Ranch. My sub was perfectly made to order. I ordered on the app and picked up at the drive thru. It was ready freaky fast. This is one of the best JJ locations I have visited. Will definitely return when I am in Lafayette again. read more

This has got to be the worst Jimmy John's I've ever ordered from. Every single order I make is wrong, instructions not followed with customization, sandwich never cut in half or bread taken out when instructed to do so, always forgetting chips. I'd estimate that around 80% of my orders are incorrect in some way. I even put instructions in the comments section when I order and they still ignore it and mess up the order. Highly recommend to go to a different Jimmy John's rather than this one, otherwise expect disappointment. read more

Ordered a couple weeks ago for delivery and the guy was dumb on the phone. He started reading my credit card info over the phone out loud which did nothing but make me so mad!!!! Also, ordered it the other night for delivery and went through the whole process and then he said cash or card? I said card, he then said oh our credit card processor is down so do you mind if I write you credit card number and put it in later?! I said will my number be lit somewhere safe or will it just be laying out? He said oh we are taping them all around the outside of the register and then when we can we will or then all in!! I've been to this jimmy johns a few times and never had an issue. This particular time there was no one there except myself and my children and there were literally 10 workers behind the counter who all greeted us! Kind of a lot but they must have a lot of dinner deliveries...it was about 4:15 when we were there. They took my order fine except even with ALL those employees there the one guy taking my order didn't seem to know the cash register very well and no one was even paying attention to help him he actually had to ask how to add extra mayo to my order (I don't think he's dumb I think the other employees should have been more helpful...) oh but I guess that they did try to put cheese on one of my sandwiches but the girl who does the last step realized and took it off. Jimmy Johns has pretty plain fair, but if your in the mood for a cold cut sandwich this place is a better option than Subway (I'm still not sure if they really use meat). However, this particular location can't seem to help getting it wrong. First, inside it's usually very loud (think Hollister or Abercrombie & Fitch stores), which isn't the best venue for young people to place an order correctly. On several occasions I've gone in to order carry out and the person at the computer can't seem to repeat the order back to me correctly, or put it in the computer correctly and I have people asking me, as they make the sandwich, what I want. I've also ordered delivery and while I can't complain about the speed, at that point I've typed and sent my order so there's no reason to get it wrong. By wrong what I mean is: I usually add a veg or ask for extra mayo, and I might see one onion or cucumber and there's hardly any mayo. If I order Italian I don't make any changes, and they'll still forget the dressing and put hardly any mayo on it. Also, the overall amount of lunch meat you get on the sandwich seems less than at other locations--less to the point where you can feel the difference in the size when they hand you the sandwich. I've also gotten sandwiches with no changes and they put hardly any lettuce or veggie toppings. Overall, the store just doesn't seem to care about customers, just in getting it done fast. Also, with all the young people working there, sometimes I've gotten the sulky teenage attitude look or whispers with one another and since I'm not a problem customer I can only assume it's not about me and just the way they do service. read more
