Jimmy John's is so good and so filling. I had the Vito and I almost couldn't finish it. I also had a cookie. My only complaint is that the cookies are pre-packaged. Seems like a place that bakes their bread fresh could also have fresh cookies. read more

This was the first time we tried the Jimmy John's in Monticello. Probably the best sandwich shop around, no matter the city. We ordered our food online through the jimmy johns app. It speeded up our order cause when we arrived the drive thru seemed backed up. I ordered online. I had made a mistake with my credit card. I thought the order went through, but, it hadn't. Totally my fault. However, the staff there were so patient and helpful. Stopped here for the first time. Several long haired gals making sandwiches- uh, NO hairnets...what? Hair not even pulled back in pony tails. Kind of appalled. Requested Dijon on my turkey tom but wasn't any. Our sandwiches were both #4 with different requests but no indication on wrapper as to which was which. I go in and the guy tells me there's no bread I told him I won't need any I'm ordering an unwich and I told him I wanted it with cheese and extra pickles he said it back to me and then proceeded to make my sandwich before he did he handed me chips as I said I wanted chips and a water. He decided I needed plain chips instead of asking me which chips I preferred. He then made my unwich and I paid and left. Went to my truck and opened my unwhich started eating it and found out there was no cheese. Ate a little more to see if it was further down and no cheese opened it and no pickles either. I live locally and stop here every so often. Usually pretty disappointed every time. Their prices are usually higher than other jimmy johns locations. And the kids they have working seem to be more pre-occupied with messing around than getting your order right. My wife and I just stopped in quick for a late dinner. We ordered two of the jalapeño ranch wraps and they just gave us the regular ranch wraps. We aren't picky people but when you pay almost 30 bucks for two average wraps, we'd like to get what we ask for. read more

Poorly managed- 3 strikes Strike 1: ordered sandwich through the drive-through, was given the wrong sandwich (I was the only one in the drive-through line...) Strike 2: next time walk into the shop, immediately informed that they were out of bread. WHAT??? You might as well close the doors. (This is a sandwich shop after all, no bread; no sandwich) Strike 3: freaky fast, not at all. Again, drive through, was told "hold on, I will be right with you" was not, so left. This place CANNOT figure it out!!!!! I have given them so many chances to regain my business and prove me wrong but they continue to disappoint. They are so incredibly slow.. freaky fast is not their motto at this location. Recently I ordered a Diet Coke with my sandwich and it was flat. This was thee worst JJs I've EVER been to. Waited in line (one car in front of me when we got in line) and it took 20 minutes to get our food. NO JOKE. Sat there without ordering for a good few minutes, then the guy taking the order had to repeat (very slowly) each item about 5 times before he could even take the next item. Finally was able to pay after a few minutes of sitting at the window. Then sat at the window for a long time after paying to get the actual food (which is we checked before leaving). The order was actually the correct order, to my surprise based off the other reviews. Don't go here unless you have ALOT time to spare (and patience). i have a deep anger in my soul as i write this. This establishment was the furthest from 'freaky fast'. I waited about 10 min in the drive thru and ordered my BLT. once i got to the window and paid i was handed my chips, receipt, and sandwich. i drove away and opened my sandwich to noticed that it was the wrong sandwich. to make it even worse, it was TUNA. as i started gagging i looked at my receipt and the lady swiped my card for the wrong order that was more than what i ordered. i skrrt'd back JJ's and waited in the line again. I told them i got the wrong sandwich and if i could get my money back from the difference of my sub vs the one i was charged for. they said NO. so i was like ughh okay whatever. they finally got me my BLT. i drove off again clenching my wheel very tightly. after a few min i opened my sandwich and realized that my BLT was missing its usual tang. They were very quick making our sandwiches, which should be good except they started making it before we told them what bread we wanted, if we didn't want something on it, or wanted to add things to it. I ordered a turkey tom sandwich and before I could say I didn't want mayo they already had the sandwich half way made and by the time I told them I wanted to add cheese they already had it wrapped up to give to me. My fiancé specifically asked if they added the cheese because she didn't see them put it on and they said yes. After I left, when I opened my sandwich to eat it.. No cheese. It's good to have that quick of service, but they need to learn to wait until our orders complete. read more

My sandwich was ALL lettuce. Asked for a turkey Tom without tomatoes. It was disgusting. It had a tiny bit of mayo, 2 pieces of cheese, 2 pieces of turkey and then lettuce piled up! I have ordered this before and it has been great, my first time at this location and I WILL NOT come back. read more
