Wanted to compare a few sandwich shops in the area to find my favorite. The plymouth store was clean and had great lively atmosphere inside. Staff were happy and friendly. I know we live in a world with inflation but I was surprised at the prices. $11 dollars just a sandwich. The good news it is a bigger sandwich and stuffed fuller than JJ. Order: club sandwich add lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, banana peppers, onions done Mikes way. Really fresh ingredients with the meat and cheese sliced fresh. Bacon was crispy. Produce all had that crisp crunch. The red wine vinegar and oil added that extra flavor and brightness. Bread was the cheese and herb topped and added that savory element. Really really good. Ordered a sandwich online for pickup. Sandwich was to be ready within a half hour. I had to wait for a few minutes but finally got it. When I got back to my desk at work the wrap was very soggy and wet. I tried to pick it up and it was full of oil and dressing. I had to get a fork and eat the meat and throw the rest. I called the store and spoke to Rob. He pulled up my order and said he would credit my account. It has been a week now and I never got the credit. This was the first time since Jersey Mike's came to our town that I was not satisfied. I am out the $13.76 for my meal. I hope this review will prompt a reply from the management. I recently decided to give Jersey Mike's another try after having them off my sandwich list for a long time. Unfortunately, this visit reminded me why they were on that list in the first place. When I ordered my sub, the staff finished preparing it and then placed it directly on the counter next to the register--no paper, no tray, just the bare sandwich sitting there. I politely asked if they wanted to put some paper down, and the employee responded that they were going to cash me out first. To be clear, they planned to handle the register, touch money, and then wrap my sandwich with whatever germs and counter dirt had accumulated. That's just gross. Food safety and cleanliness are basic expectations, and this experience showed a serious lapse in both. Back on the "no-go" list they go. read more

There's a new sandwich shop in my hood. I signed up for their email club and got a coupon for free drink and chips before it even opened! Then I completely forgot about it. Wah wah. Then will wonders never ceases? They sent me a free sub with drink for my birthday! AND gave me almost a year to use it. Woo hoo! Well, I couldn't wait to try it and went the day after my birthday for lunch. It was early about 11 and there was only one person in front of me. Quick service! Yeah! You order on the far end and they give you a paper with your sandwich order on it. You grab chips and make your way to the cash register. Pay for your order. If you order a drink you get to use one of those crazy touch screen drink machine. They were super quick and very friendly. I got my sandwich to go. It smelled so good! Driving back to work was tough. I finally got to tear into my cheesesteak and it was so worth the wait! I can't wait to go back and try more of those sandwich selections! This place is a higher-end hoagie outfit, with the large sandwiches topping out at $14.95. But don't let that scare you away, as your first bite into the dripping cheesy goodness will help you understand the price. This place knows how to make delicious sandwiches, the only fault I have found is with their service. I ordered takeout, and I got to the restaurant about ten minutes after the website said it would be ready -- so one would assume my food would be ready to go for me, right? Well, sort of. I waited for the woman making sandwiches(she was pretty nice) to finish a sandwich for an older gentleman who had placed his order in store. I thought oh, that's fine, good for them helping to put customers first. I was disappointed though when, after she finished his sandwich, she handed me my bag after I had waited five minutes for her to finish making the sandwich for the aforementioned gentlemen. This is a minor problem, but I feel like she could have just snatched my bag for me right away when I walked in. High intensity, super rushed service which I would understand if there was a line, but I was the only one in there. Ordered a kids meal, asked "what on it?" to which my reply was tuna. Another staff member said "we don't have any kids tuna subs it will be a mini" "ermmm okay?". Next thing I know if my bill is $8.23 rather than $4.95 and when I asked why I wasn't being charged a kids meal, the response was "you had a mini". I ordered catering for my Dad's 90th birthday party. I placed the order 2 days in advance. I was told to pick up at 10:30am. The party was at my place at noon. When I arrived at 10:30 my order was not made yet. I waited over :20 minutes waiting for the staff to make the subs. I had ordered 4 boxes but they thought it was for 3 boxes. They didn't have any catering boxes that displays the subs on the buffet table. The manager was out front at first but when I was told they were out of catering boxes he went to the back, never to be seen again. I would call some other catering service before you go with the Plymouth location. My order wasn't correct, on time or included supplies that are suppose to be included. read more

I placed an order in the store last Thursday. Ordered 5 sub, one of which was supposedly to be a mini. I was charged for 5 regular size sub. When We got home I opened mine and it was made wrong. I ordered chicken and received steak. I called the store 3 times no answer. I called and talked to Sam the following day. I told him I still had the sandwich and could take a picture or bring it back to the store. He said that wasn't necessary. I explained to him what happened he took down my information said he would call me back later that afternoon. I told him I wouldn't be home but he could leave a message or talk to my husband. I'm still waiting for him to call me back. I guarantee I will NOT be back as a customer. read more

Went to Jersey Mike's at the Plymouth location at 8:35pm and was greeted with eye rolls that I had the audacity to come buy food 25 mins before closing as they were already putting all their food away. I asked if I can order food and was told yes and when I wanted to order a philly steak then the grill was down for the night and could only order cold sandwiches. If you're open till 9pm maybe the employees should keep the grill and store open till then and not expect to run out the door at 9pm. The lady behind the counter said they close down the grill at 8:15, 45 mins before closing. Even though the sandwich was good the service at this location needs an over haul. read more

I would give Dan and his location 10 stars if I could. I order for a hs lax team that is working out communication issues. The 24 meals I ordered were cancelled by someone that had wrong info. When we showed up at 2:45 to pick up the meals that someone else cancelled, Dan jumped into action. We had to have these at the hs by 3:15. Dan whipped up 24 plus sandwiches, and didn't charge us for our cookies and chips for our trouble. We will continue to go back over and over! I highly recommend!! read more

I'm a big fan of Jersey Mike's, having grown up in Point Pleasant NJ. Really excited to see the concept franchised and in the Minneapolis market. I will however not return to the Plymouth MN location due to rude service from the team members at this location. During my visit there were three team members behind the counter. A female working the register, a male (who identified himself as the owner) working the slicer, and a second male putting toppings on the subs. The poor customer service was received from the male putting the toppings on the sub. I was asked if I wanted the sub Mike's way and answered that I wanted everything on it. The team member said, "so Mike's way?" I replied, "I did not realize Mike's way meant everything." He responded, "you want everything, all of this stuff too," as he pointed to the peppers and less traditional toppings. I responded, "yes." He said in a somewhat condescending tone, "so Mike's way, all the way?" I've never heard this expression and agreed. I asked for the oil and vinegar on the side. The team member commented, "tough crowd." I asked, "I'm a tough crowd because I want the oil and vinegar on the side?" The team member responded, " well you and that last customer. Did you hear the last customer?" The owner and topping team member started to exchange banter about Jersey Mike's not being Starbucks. I was extremely offended with the manner I was treated and to top it off, when I went to eat my sub the toppings weren't correct anyway. I suggest this team go through customer service training. They need to do the job they were hired for. If a customer has a special request, such as a topping on the side, it should be honored without making the customer feel like a burden. I also suggest this location have a more mature adult owner check in on the young adults running the store. Worst service I've received in a very long time. read more
