Maybe I ordered too simple of a sandwich,,, turkey, provolone, lettuce, onion,,,,, cold - not toasted . The bread wasn't that good,, not really soft at all for a French roll,,, and honestly,,, the whole sandwich had NO flavor . Definitely fan of Potbelly's.... have been to a couple different locations. But after reading the other two reviews, I think I'm going to have to break down and try one of their shakes sometime. Sandwich-wise - - I always get the same thing. "The wreck". "You wreck me baby. Yeah, you break me in two. But you move me honey, yes you do". (Sorry, Tom Petty fan...) But this location -- great service. No WiFi from the restaurant, but the staff will advise you to piggyback off of the FedEx store nearby. Okay.. ?? I've never encountered long lines here. And... not sure if this location has any entertainment either. (I would guess not, since it's a northern suburb.) read more

I don't often go to Potbelly, but this experience may change that. I went with my mom and it was her first time going, so I had to teach her the ropes. It was around 2:30 pm, so it was very quiet when we arrived (we were actually two of six guests total). The restaurant was a bit too warm, which explained why they had the door propped open. The staff were incredibly helpful - they greeted us, offered time and suggestions, and ensured our orders were accurate. I ordered the Mediterranean and my mom ordered the Grilled BLT. We both ordered on multigrain bread with a pop. Our total came to about $20, which is a fair price for the sandwich and a drink. Both sandwiches were toasted to perfection and were plentiful in flavor. One thing I especially appreciated were the gender neutral restrooms. It showed that Potbelly (at least this specific one) is attentive to the needs of inclusivity. Would definitely check it out again! read more

This is one of the go-to sandwich shops when I connect with my friend in the north metro. I ordered a T-K-Y skinny sandwich that's paired with soup. I chose the broccoli cheese soup, which is part of a soup/sandwich deal for three skinny sandwich options. I added avocado which is a $1 extra, btw. The skinny sandwich offers less meat and cheese than the normal sandwich. You have several options to choose from with your bread. They run the sandwiches through a toaster oven and then add condiments to your liking. I enjoyed my sandwich. The soup was ok. I'm all about cheese but this was just average. We stopped here just a little while ago, looking for some good lunch. I am so glad to stop here, as it had been a long time since I have had Potbelly, much less this location. The restaurant didn't seem that busy, just a steady flow during the lunch hour. I was so glad, as it gave me an extra minute or two, peruse the menu. I mean with so many options, I needed that extra time. I finally decided on a Mediterranean style sub, with some potato soup, a chocolate chip cookie, soda, and an Oreo shake as well. I liked how ad I walked down the line, I could see them making my sub, and finally asking what type of dressing that I would like to have. Of course my soup was practically ready, and I needed to wait an extra minute for my shake. Once I got my food I didn't have much time. So I devoured my cup of soup and my shake. What I liked about my soup was how thick and creamy it was. I mean they tasted how they were supposed too. When I finally got home I was able to have my sub. And there was plenty for later as well. What I liked about my sub was how they didn't skimp on the ingredients like the tomatoes, feta cheese, lettuce to name a few. Not only did my sub look delicious, but tasted like that as well. What I liked was how my sub came in different sizes or styles, depending on how hungry I was. It would be so good to go back, but maybe try a salad instead. read more

On 5/20/20 I placed an online order for pick up. I put a pick up time of 6:45 but didn't get any of the order until after 7. When I finally did start receiving my order it came out in pieces and was wrong and missing items. The employee was very rude the whole time. By the time I have gotten all of my order it was nearly 7:45. I wrote to the company the next day but have yet to hear back from them. If I could give lower than 1 star I would. The food is not worth the price and with a family of 6 I look for value and price. Never will I ever return to this location and because they are so unprofessional as to not reply by to comments on their corporate site I will not go to ANY of their locations. read more

We order from here a lot and normally have a good experience. We picked up our order tonight about an hour before closing and they were out of broccoli cheddar soup which is fine as we ordered something else but when I got home, there was almost nothing on my sandwich. It looked like they got halfway done making it and then forgot to finish it. I had to take some meat from my boyfriend's sandwich and put it on mine which is disappointing for $22. read more

This is my favorite place to get a sandwich. The service is always fast and friendly. I have found that everyone working here is good about communicating with each other. It's Potbelly. Do I need to say anything else? Good food when you need a slightly greasy sandwich, but still want the comfort of pretending to eat healthy. The shakes, malts and smoothies are always a nice benefit of eating here. The reason for this special review (I don't usually review chains) was that the service was fantastic! They delivered our food and shakes as if we were at a table-service restaurant. I can't promise you this will happen all the time. But, for once, a chain made me fee like a king! Horrible customer service. The food was good however the staff seemed un happy to serve us. Being how it was my first time here, I will not be coming again. We ordered a smoothie and she rang us up, didn't ask for a receipt but then after she kept the smoothie and then said she forgot to rang it up. So Potbelly is absolutely fantastic. Both my boyfriend and I have become addicted. The shakes, the sandwiches, the soups, and even the chips are just top notch. I've never had slow service or a bad experience here. This is only one of the locations that is convenient distance from my house but I actually prefer to eat at this location because the staff seems friendlier and the line usually moves faster. The Coon Rapids location is charming inside. The sandwiches were good, however the flatbread is more like a cracker texture. I had my sandwich cold so maybe warming it up would have softened it. The soup was also good. The brewed iced tea smelled like sewer so I chose soda. The employee was rude and not helpful with our questions. This was our first time here. She told us to read the board behind her. I will go back but hopefully a different employee will be working and the tea will be better. read more

Potbelly is great. Great food, great malts, great atmosphere - it's one of our family favorites. That is why when I have a less than favorable experience there, I take into consideration that it's normally not like that. Supposedly, Thursday nights at this location, is kid's night. They have big posters on their windows, visible from Main Street, that boasts balloons, live music, face painting and free food for the kids. So we went. When we walked in, there was no live music. There was no face painting happening. And the only balloon we could see was a pink one tied to the basket where they have their cookies for sale, on the counter. As much as we love Potbelly, this false advertising was a complete turnoff from the get go, and we turned around and went somewhere else. We love the sandwiches, no doubt about it, but when we go for an experience like "kid's night", that's what I expect to get. read more
