    a sandwich and a drink
    Paul V.

Stopped in here by getting directions from Yelp, my best friend during my travel. Ordered to go veggie#6 with hot peppers and all freebies, as usual well done sandwich which I stared eating before writing this review! Ingredients and blend is unique which I really love and miss Jimmie Johns in our town after it closed down anyway I make it up during my travels

The sandwiches here are better than subway, quiznos, togos, and penn station. Not only that, but they had mine done before I had even poured my drink. Excellent service, excellent food.

Manager was rude. Would not honor coupon for side. It did not state on back no premium sides. They need to change this

Very good food. I really like the new wraps. The food is fresh and I was in and out very quickly. This is a great place.

it was certainly fast, just not "freaky" fast. don't come in with too high expectations of their speed.

Good subs, great bread. A little pricier than other sub shops, but worth it. I love the humorous, and cocky atmosphere.

I will continue to review Taco Casita 5-stars as long as possible…read more I had received some good news at work. Other friends and family had other obligations. So, my chance to indulge and celebrate meant there's only one place....Taco Casita. It amazes me the different personalities which patronize. While waiting on my food to be prepared, I just kept scanning the dining room. There was a father with his 7-8 year old daughter. She was giddy eating chips and cheese. The father was chowing down. Another corner had a college age couple enjoying conversation whilst nibbling their food. There was a clean cut family of 6 on some tables. A fellow walked in wearing a muscle shirt of some sort. Another customer appeared like a weary Fed Ex driver getting Carryout. My Red (for Ed) sweatshirt kinda stood out. Almost everyone in there had one mission...to eat some cheap Mexican food and get their tummies full. Personally, it cleanses the sinuses for me. Some might say it will do other sorts of body cleanses! It's always a cheap spot to grab some grub that you know the flavor. It's not fancy. But good to eat.

Taco Casita - Anticipate a slight wait during noon lunch. But it's still not that long. They'll holler your order number when it's ready.

I called at least 6 times and left 2 messages but got nowhere, so I called my husband to see what he wanted to do. He called back and said he had gotten through and I was to call them and place the order. I did so with a boy who sounded as if I were bothering him. My husband arrived home with the three sandwiches and passed them around. My daughter was to have had a philly cheesesteak on wheat bread and received white bread. I was to receive a philly cheese steak with lettuce. tomatoes ,onions and mayo and my husband was to have a philly cheese steak with everything except hot peppers. Neither of our sandwiches was correct. By this time, we were all frustrated. I called the store to complain to the manager and was told by the same bored silly employee, or possibly another, that she was in the bathroom. I told him I would wait. A girl came to the phone and identified herself as the supervisor, Zaid Jabur. I told her I simply wanted to express my dissatisfaction and when she had no apology or explanation, I asked for a contact email or phone number for her superior. She said she could not give this information out. I told her I did not want the order corrected or credited to our account, neither of which she had offered to do. I simply told her that I would not be returning to this store again and would be contacting someone about this poor service. The worst thing about this whole experience was the bad taste it left in my mouth. It was like dealing with silly teenagers who could not care less about the customer, the business , or the ruining of a dining experience ; worse yet, it was as if these jejune little nincompoops who work at this store were snickering behind their hands at having gotten away with doing as little as they could to do a poor job. If I did speak to the store owner - Zaid Jabur ( who is listed in this website as the supervisor and owner,) then he/she needs to rethink his/her career choice. I will be telling this tale and advising people that if they want good food, good service, or good manners, then Penn Station East in Terre Haute is not the place to go.

I was craving an Italian cold cut that was a step above Subway. I ordered with no lettuce and no tomato, they got that right, 1 Star. They were nice and quick. That's the 2nd star. Let's start with the Pepsi machine, a clump fell out of the nozzle, so that tells me they don't clean it regularly. I got sweet tea instead and it just tasted off. The bread was hard on the ends. I got the 12" but lost about 3-4" to some non eatable bread. I got to the register to pay. I had $15 in my hand thinking this should cover it... NOPE! $21.60 for a 12" cold sub and a drink... ouch! Way over priced. Never again. Now I know why I haven't stopped in. Seriously, a steak at Texas Roadhouse is cheaper.

I have really debated how many stars they should get. On…read moreone hand, the food was really good! My daughter and I both got the Chicken Gyro (that's not its full name, but that's what I remember). That was our plan B bc they were out of corned beef. It was awesome and so huge that we had to use a fork and knife to eat it. The Parmesan fries with curry was also very good. We got there during an off time. There were 6 ppl dining when we came in. It took probably 10-15 minutes before we got to order. We were there for 30 minutes before we got our drinks. I had to go out to the car to get the drinks we had in there bc we got thirsty. I also don't think they change table cloths between customers. Once the other people left, tables were cleared but crumbs remained. When I came back from the car, there was an insect crawling on our table. I won't say the R word, but I'm pretty sure it was a baby R. I pointed it out & worker squished it in her fingers and tried to save face by saying it was a spider (definitely wasn't a spider) or an aphid (most definitely not an aphid). I hate giving bad reviews, especially to small businesses, and they probably don't deserve the 3 stars, but the food was delicious when we finally got it ... just tried not thinking about the critter. Not having a restroom wasn't great either. We do prefer to wash our hands before we eat, as one should. We went out to our car to use our hand sanitizer. After other customers left, I also started to play my own music at the table. They obviously had kids in the back and had a children's show fairly loud, which was just kind of annoying. That may be nitpicking, but dining in was just not a good experience all around... besides the food. Sorry
