Wow. What a terrible place. I thought ordering a basic dinner salad to go would get me in and out quickly-I had plans. But no. In an effort to relieve the front counter staff who looked like they'd rather be in the back of a squad car than deal with the clientele I ordered at the kiosk. Got my number. And waited. For 20 minutes. For a salad. To go. I asked the front line if I had done anything in error and they said no while a dozen or so walked in, ordered and were served their pasta entrees well ahead of me. It is a divwy (meth lab not cute hipster) McDonald's that serves pasta. If the salmonella salad is any indication I wouldn't try the E. coli carbonara. Breadsticks are edible. read more

For a chain, I was impressed! Came here with my bro for a quick lunch. They had a nice lunch special featuring 2 items with a drink for $5. I'm not usually a big fan of fast chains, but this location always seems to be consistent with service and quality. Today was no exception. We ordered at the counter and filled our self-serve drinks. The food runner was super friendly and brought us four tasty breadsticks during the short wait for our orders. I really enjoyed my penne with spicy tomato sauce and side salad. I dont normally stop at fast food places but decided i wanted some pasta. I was traveling back to Colorado from the East coast and stopped here for lunch. I was having an issue paying with my card at the self service machine and i asked for help. The manager Mary stopped to help and got me a cashier to help me who then charged me considerably less than i think they should which was so nice. The cashier was so sweet. Then i got my drink and sat down and my food arrived by another sweet girl. She asked if i wanted fresh Parmesan and she put some on. I asked if this kind of service was normal or am i someone special and she nope we just give great service. I saw the manager and told her how wonderful the staff was and the food is great and the place is so clean. I said this is better than any five star restaurant i have ever been too. Traveling and looking for a late (8pm) quick meal., we thought we would give Fazoli's a try. Service to place order was very slow. We walked in and no one was at counter! No greeting, we could hear and see multiple employees milling about. After a few minutes a girl finally acknowledged us and said she would be back to help us. We waited, ordered and then found a seat . The floor was very dirty and I noticed many employees walking by napkins on the floor but not picking them up. Our food came out quickly and the server was very pleasant. The meal was very good for fast food. Only 3 stars due to cleanliness and initial service. Went to this location and ordered 2 ultimate sampler platters and there was a young black or mixed girl working in the kitchen. We didn't realize that they had 20 minutes before they closed so we ordered our meal for takeout, the young girl in the kitchen was very rude and made a comment....... "What the hell did they do order everything on the fuckin menu?" When she brought our bag of food out she rudely set it on the counter and didn't say anything to us, no thank you or have a good night or anything. She walked away without a single word to us. She definitely doesn't know what good customer service is. I work in customer service as a hairstylist and her behavior is very unacceptable. And our food didn't even have much sauce on any of it, it was like they just put a little bit of sauces on the top and didn't even have enough to taste it. It was just like eating dry noodles. Very dissatisfied with the lack of customer service and the quality of the food. We eat at this restaurant often but this was probably the last time I go there. Wow! My first time at a Fazoli's and I looooooved it! No, it's not the pasta your Italian grandmother would make, but it's fast, easy and cheap. I had never even heard of this chain before but I'm a fan now. Order at the front and they will deliver to your table. Meanwhile, a kid roams around giving out free breadsticks while you are waiting. Oh carbs, how I adore you. Got a special that included a nice sized simple salad, breadsticks, a drink and a generous bowl of simple spaghetti with a meaty sauce. Passing through on our way home to Missouri. Excellent service and food. While eating we witnessed the staff helping an elderly woman who had a flat tire. The lady was visibly upset and the staff sat her down, got her a drink and started helping her find a relative. The older lady wasn't much help. The manager asked enough questions to help figure out where she lived and said they would get her home even if they couldn't find a relative. One of the guys employed knew exactly where she lived because his grandpa lived there. It wassuch a blessing seeing the staff go above and beyond. BTW the restaurant was busy during all of this. Stopped by this place to eat lunch on our road trip. We were pleasantly surprised! It's like a fast food Olive Garden. We ordered at the front, like fast food, and then a waitress brought our meal on a tray and offered to grate fresh parmesan at our table side. Everything we ordered was delicious. Our caesar salad was so crisp and fresh. The parmesan cheese was wide grated. Definitely a great place to eat! read more

On our trek back home my wife was feeling nostalgic so we stopped here for dinner. The bathroom needed a little TLC and the food was decent. My wife loves the traditional spaghetti and I got Chicken Tortellini Alfredo. The chicken was well cooked but the sauce wasn't very good. My husband grew up in Terre Haute and really loves Fazoli's. We do not have Fazoli's where we live now and do not have anything close to fast food Italian really. Every time we come anywhere close to a Fazoli's he insists on eating there. Some locations in the past have not been so great, but I think this one generally has pretty good food and service. It would still probably have only been rated a three for me in the past, but on this occasion I noticed that they have stepped up their game a bit and if you eat in the restaurant they now have real plates and silverware. I appreciate this a lot and makes the food seem better somehow. It is also nice that they have a drive thru, if we had a Fazoli's close to our house I am sure we would eat there fairly often. It is nice to be able to get something other than burgers in a drive thru. Granted the food is probably not really any healthier. My husband's family always loves their breadsticks that comes with any meal and eats all that are brought out and gets more since they are unlimited. I try to stick with just one with my meal and alway supplement with a salad. Typically I get the chicken parm, which comes with spaghetti. The pastas are very filling. My kids love spaghetti and pizza, both of which you can get here, which means they were happy campers. We came here on our first night in Terre Haute after a long drive from Chicago, the night before Thanksgiving. We came with a fairly large group of ten and everyone filled up and were satisfied for relatively little money. We took over several tables in the back and because it was so casual they had no problem with our kids running around a bit after being cooped up in the car for hours. I've started cooking my own pastas over the summer, so perhaps my expectations for Italian food have shifted a bit. The specials that Fazolis has from time to time allow you to get good food for cheap. However, for anything on the menu, it's not as cheap as one would think it is. OK. I will not going to lie here. As a college head coach of a track and field team looking for a place to eat and loading up with carbs this is the place to eat. A few things here.... 1. Thanks to Amy, the store manager, for putting up with us. We had a tax exempt form for being non for profit/government and it can be a pain. We actually had to use it twice since my assistant coach came in later and it was packed already. Amy and her crew were able to do what she usually does with those forms without a problem. 2. This was the quickest service I ever saw of any Fazolis I have ever been too. They were quick, no mistakes, and service was incredible. Very clean restaurant and awesome service. Awful service from every employee I encountered tonight , they made it seem so bad to ask them anything and/or to do their job ! Food was terrible , barley any sauce on any of my pastas and when the bread was brought to us twice (unlimited bread sticks huh?) They were so soggy and salty it made me sick to my stomach. The dining area was messy , food all over the floor , straw wrappers , cheese ,etc. Which is understandable if it's busy and you see employees trying to keep up but their rude employees were on their phones when their store needed things done.
