Don't be turned off by the appearance! It's an older, un-updated building, but the food is very good!! It's hot, fast, and cheap!

I have been eating here since I was a young kid. This place has a cult like following, you either love it or hate it. We LOVE it!!! You MUST try it at least once, it'll probably be your next go to, crave place.

    Fiesta- love the nachos

I don't care about the atmosphere here, I just love this place. It's one of those things you just crave. Both Castia locations are sketchy but lovable. The feast I am posting was $20 and that's just crazy. So much delicious food. I describe it as a high school lunch, but who cares? Good it's good. We got an enchilada deluxe combo- two beef enchiladas, taco, beans and chips with cheese, four tacos, fiesta nachos, large chips and cheese, large beans, 3 sour creams and a ranch- plus two 32 oz drinks....literally $20. Insane. This place is like a White Castle, you love it or you hate it. It's a college favorite of mine, so it's a must have when I go to Terre Haute.

    Yesss. Almost Taco.

This place has me torn down the middle. On the one hand, it's dirty and shady. In fact, it's quite fitting that the letters have fallen off the sign and it now reads "Taco Casi," which translates into "almost taco." But, on the other hand, there's something about the food. Because despite the fact that I'd normally never eat in a place like this, I keep coming back. Like an addict. Anyway, you have to trust me that if you have a hangover or you're sad, a wet plate and two beef enchiladas on the side will wipe away your blues. Trust me. You'll thank me later. By the way, as someone who grew up in the southwest less than an hour from Mexico, I'm not exactly sure where the idea for the Inca-esque decor made in China came from, but in some weird way, it's perfectly fitting. Check this place out. It's a Terre Haute institution.

I was really craving Mexican food, and I decided to try a new spot. The food sounded good, and I liked the description of the nachos, so I ordered them and decided to add on a side of Mexican street corn. It was ok. First off, the corn was very overcooked. Small kernels. Very juicy, but not in a good wat. I took about 2 spoonfuls and pretty much tossed the rest. The nachos were not very good. I know this was a delivery and I have to make concessions for some saturation making the chips not as crunchy, but even the chips they gave me on the side were very thin and oily and would never hold up in a nacho setting. The meat (carnitas) was very dry and stringy. The guacamole lacked seasoning as did the rice and beans. And, the salsa had a pulled-from-the-refrigerator flavor. I maybe ate a third of the nachos and then tossed those out as well. I did not eat any of the chips and salsa after the initial taste. I was really bummed as I had hoped for a good meal, but I won't be trying this restaurant again and will try others next time I am in town.

But when you get a bill of $30 for 3 people during the late lunch hour (what a steal!), and for value, this place is a 5 star. Twice, I have dined here, both for a late lunch with my parents after visiting the Catmosphere across the street. Juan C was our server both times and he was very kind to my older parents, thank you for that Juan. Although my dad and I order standard items from the menu, my mom needs simply a plain ground beef burrito with cheese and nothing else. Like nothing...tortilla, beef, cheese, nothing else on the plate please. Basic. Juan delivered and adjusted the price accordingly. For Terre Haute, this Mexican food is pretty OK....not great...but pretty good. Juan the server was authentically nice. In the footprint of a former bank, this place is decoratively a mismatch of many things. A mismatch of colors, bank relics, chair fabrics, flooring, parking lot is odd.... It is what it is. Bathrooms could use a remodel, cashier area seems odd, front entrance area cramped. So with that, Mis Tres Potrillios is a 3, but I would go back. Support the local guy. (new paint

We tried quesabirria which was good too. Definitely ask for the house salsas- habanero and green options, as these really make the tacos. The "Americanized" chips and salsa were good but average. Worth the trip for good tacos and salsa. Do not expect a peaceful or fancy environment. There are a few booths, it's connected to a small store, and the employees, while efficient at their jobs, are loudly playing music and videos on their phones competing with the music playing through the store speakers.

Super tacos means with sour cream, cheese, and pico and it makes them impossible to close and challenging to eat. If you gotta have those things on your taco, you won't be disappointed, but the regular tacos are probably fine. The tortillas are good and the meat is tasty, this is definitely the thing to order here. Pupusas was interesting but probably wouldn't order it again, kind of like a tortilla pancake with meat stuffing. Chicken empanada was ok, needs some kind of dipping sauce. Breading was soft but and seemed baked instead of fried, which gave it a unique texture. The tamales are huge! Didn't get to try one, but if you're into that they look great. Chips were a little stale, red salsa was ok, they do have a habanero sauce that's great on the tacos. Overall, it's cheap and good, nice and casual, I'll be back.
