The food has a heavy focus on local ingredients, with flavors that are incredibly tight and well-balanced. The steak frites are so tender I'm pretty sure they were cut with a polite suggestion rather than a knife. The scallops are meaty and perfectly cooked. And of course the burger is absolutely mouthwatering and make it the tempting default option during each visit. The appetizers are all fantastic, Kat and the Korean cauliflower takes the cake! For desert, their house cheesecake is phenomenal, and their in house amber ale is full and flavourful. Our server was on the ball; the water was never empty, and the check ins were always at the right time. Verdict: 10/10. If you want western food with a fun twist and high quality ingredients, this is one spot you must check out!

Unfortunately, this dish was not at all what we expected. The menu mentioned Chardonnay, so we anticipated a white wine-based sauce, but what arrived was a red sauce that was extremely spicy. It felt like there may have been a very heavy hand with the chili flakes, and again, the heat completely overpowered the other flavours. The seafood itself was cooked very well, but the sauce really missed the mark for us. Overall, it was a disappointing dinner at a restaurant we normally love. I'm going to chalk it up to an off night because our previous experiences at Radius have been so good, and I would still return based on those dinners. The service was as always consistent and great. The Sunset Skies was easily our favourite and one I'd happily order again. Unfortunately, the High Noon wasn't for me--it had a very floral flavour that I found unpalatable. What really made the experience exceptional was the service. Our server was incredibly attentive and noticed that I hadn't touched my High Noon cocktail. Without hesitation, they offered to replace it with another drink of my choice and removed the original cocktail from our bill. That level of attentiveness and customer service really stood out. The gochujang came in handy again here, but the flavours in the dish and accompaniments were good. Same for the bulgogi...the best part of the plate was the buchimgae (pancake). Not that the bulgogi was bad, it was just good. We also had a maki platter not pictured that was decent as well. They have little individual table rooms (we weren't in one this trip) which adds to the authentic feel of the place. Obvisouly The Buvette Signature Share Platter! A mouthwatering board featuring steak, lobster, shrimps, lamb, and all the fixings.
