I was attending a birthday celebration upstairs. When we arrived, the girls at the front acted as if they didn't know the name the event was for. They were very dense when approached and asked about it. Also we arrived five minutes early and they told us to take a seat near the door. Meanwhile there were guests already upstairs seated. Had we not looked up and saw a familiar face, we would've been sitting down there like dummies. So, moving on, the dinner menu only offered beer, wine or sangria, none of which I drink. So I decided I wanted real drinks from the bar downstairs. The girls assigned to the event said they'd take our drink orders. So I said ok and ordered drinks for three people. She returned and asked if I wanted to pay now or keep an open tab. I decided I on the open tab. We kept ordering drinks and got the bill with a $34 gratuity added to it. I just didn't understand, considering the drinks were for three people, not the event attendees. Had I known, I would've walked downstairs and ordered my own drinks. Also, they got paid royally from the total cost of the event. They should warn people upfront that they'll be adding on this fee, which is listed on the bill as an "Event Admin Charge". The Penne al a Vodka with Chicken was a large portion; the Paella's rice was mushy and the Shrimp Scampi was more like dry grilled shrimp surrounding a mound of rice. Food was pretty good. However waiter service was very poor . Came with my friend and order the waffles fish and salmon croquettes and French toast . The waiter brought the food out and never came back to the table after. I flagged one of the other waiters to get water and. That took another 15mins for someone to bring that over . The cafe had only about 15 people Dining. Also I so the waiter brought bread out for all his tables instead of ours and had to ask for him to bring the out while he was delivering our food . I love going to restaurant that make me feel welcome and treated with respect. This place it is ! Those beautiful lights and the ambience of the room , plus the bar and the music are very trendy. The drinks are amazing it's a safe place I go there regularly by myself with my children and I just love it . They specialize in Catering private parties anniversary dinner and upstairs is very beautiful. When you sale steak you have to make sure it's seasoned at least with sea and pepper. Today I made the mistake of ordering food for the 1st time from Jimmy's Grand Cafe. I ordered a cheeseburger with mash potatoes. The burger was raw - I asked for medium well - and the potatoes had no taste whatsoever. I had to cook and season the burger and re-heat and season the potatoes. If they can't get something that simple and straightforward right, I don't have confidence in anything else from them. Disgusting. I wonder how they got popular with this crappy food. read more

Such an elegant place. They decorated everything so nicely. The waitresses were very attentive and you know they definitely catered to the event very professionally. I showed my sister and we might be using this place for her wedding party if she actually does get married next year ... we been in the talks of this for 10 years... anyhow it looks as if theres two floors in here , might even three. We were on the top floor and it had a bathroom so we never walked into anyone else's tables or events. I think the main floor is the restaurant part of the establishment, like open to the public. I cant rate the food because i did not eat. My cousin had breakfast buffet style kinda food eggs, waffles,,,,,and pasta, salad, and something with mushrooms, I'm not sure. Thats not food for me to rate this rating is purely just an even rating. If there is one thing I would change is the fact that when the waitresses serve if your not at your table you don't get served. So every time i went to the bathroom I missed out on the cake. The desert. And most importantly my last mimosa lol. So dont get up ! Joke. I just think that I guess they should be a but more attentive. And, yesssss I was a waitress before so I most definitely understand how it feels to serve dozens of people. Found this place on a whim. Came on Saturday morning for breakfast with the family (party of 4 and 1 child). We were all pleasantly surprised with the space, decor and service. Our server, Jimmy (Not the owner), was very kind. I appreciated his down-to-earth attitude. The food came within 10 minutes of everyone ordering. We got Water and Coffee refills without having to ask. I was pretty happy with portion size and pricing. Everything was very tasty. Let me start by saying that you should not expect your reservation to be honored if you are booking a group for a birthday celebration . Made reservations for a group of 10 and i was met with a blank stare and a mad dash by front door staff and told to wait by the bar The bar was packed as well.We were forced to wait for over an hour we placed our orders and of the 10 orders placed we had 3 wrong that had to be sent back. 2 other dishes that were prepared were cold by the time they arrived at the table. ROACHES!!!!! I am from Florida and my sister highly recommended this place. I went with her on Friday 7/16/2021 around 1:00pm and we ordered, our food came pretty quick and no sooner than that my sister had a roach climb on her back from the booth and she freaked out. Told the waitress and it's not her fault but the same roach went across the the next set of booths and climbed up. The waitress killed the road with her hand and moved forward like nothing. Gross!! Next there were people from the same side booth that were getting up and leaving because there were roaches crawling in the wall. I am not one to post anything but the owners need to take a hard look at the gold mine they have and clean up and exterminate frequently.
