This is an extremely weak and unprofessional moving company. I selected this moving company because…read moreof it's good reviews but am absolutely baffled by Tacuma's lack of professionalism. His team moved my mom earlier from a 1-bed to a 1-bed this spring and did not come prepared with food or water on a very warm day and expected me to provide that to his team. Since everything was packed, my mom didn't even have food or water for myself. This move took the ENTIRE DAY, as in a full 9.5 hours, and the new place was literally DOWN THE STREET from the old place. Tacuma came up with every excuse as to why it was taking so long. The real reason was the inefficiency of his movers. I've moved many times and even with less men, if they know how to efficiently pack items and work together as a team, a move can be done in a few hours. He also proceeded to take a nap for a good part of the afternoon while his team worked; his presence was extremely unnecessary, as I had hired a 2 person team, and he just hung around since I wasn't paying for his time as a mover. He also treated himself to a nice tour of my mom's new place and didn't even lock an outside door when he was done touring. There was one mover who behaved professionally, but the other mover, again not bringing water, proceeded to drink straight from the faucet and then SPAT into my kitchen sink. This mover then set askew a very large mirror so that it was a fall risk. When I told him it was uneven, his response was, "What am I supposed to do about that?" Overall this an extremely disappointing experience. To make matters worse, my mom ended up feeling unwell -- I thought Tacuma was going to bill us later given how sick she looked, but no, he refused to leave until my mom paid him. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY.
