When I called customer service to get an ETA, I was told the technician had already tried calling me twice and therefore would not be coming. After checking my phone, I noticed the calls had gone to my spam folder. Like most people, I receive countless spam calls every day. If the technician had left a voicemail or sent a text message, I would have known the call was important and responded immediately. Neither was done. What made this situation even more upsetting was the response I received. Both the customer service representative and the technician stated, "This is not my company and therefore I'm not losing any money." That comment was extremely unprofessional and showed a complete lack of concern for the customer's time, schedule, and inconvenience. I explained that a simple voicemail or text could have prevented this entire issue, but there was no understanding or willingness to work with me. They refused to send a technician out. Taking time off, planning ahead, and rearranging my schedule meant nothing to them. This experience showed poor communication, lack of accountability, and very disappointing customer service. That is why I am giving Safelite a one-star rating.

Sad day to be writing such a review, but long overdue…read more Service is now completely degenerated. Owner marches to the beat of his own drum, does what he wants, when he wants, and how he wants. He showed up without permission, completed a glass replacement without our knowledge or permission, and was unreachable during the time frame. Once I had as able to reach him by phone he just gloated about how busy he is, and how we aren't the only customers. We then found out through other sources and from additional complaints, that he was using aftermarket glass, but being paid for the factory (OEM) price. Once we learned that, we found other jobs he had done fraudulently for us as well. SafeLite is now reviewing him as an affiliate; and my business and family have discontinued him as a vendor for us. He has gotten too big for his britches.
