Where do I even start - I always hated going to the dentist and I avoided going whatsoever for years before I found out about this practice through Yelp! Everyone here is super welcoming and I felt super comfortable with every single visit. I've been there for fillings, deep cleaning, regular cleaning, and all I can say is my experience was amazing every single time. Jin Dental is so much more than a dental office. From the front desk to the chair there is no shortage of interest in the patient and in cultivating a warm, familial spirit. I can't say enough about how the entire staff embraced our needs after we lost our home in the Eaton Fire in January. Additionally, my oral health has never been better thanks to the remarkable staff and one of my personal favorites, Jocelyn. She is hands down the most dedicated hygienist I've ever encountered, and her chair side manner is top notch. She and the staff are genuinely interested in your health and it shows. Please do yourself a favor and get the Airflow upgrade when you go for your cleaning. It's 10x worth whatever your insurance doesn't cover in terms of comfort and effectiveness. Cannot say enough good things about this place. The staff from the front to back are all very kind and understanding. They do their best to answer any and all questions that I had to the best of their abilities whether it be about the appointment itself or financial responsibilities. The providers are also very patient and attentive to your concerns. They thoroughly go over each and every issue and assessment. The office itself is very cute and clean as well. It's modern and up to date with all the latest features. My favorite part was the digital 3D rendering of the teeth they made with a scanner which eliminated the need for those sticky gunky dental impressions. Not only that, I believe they are able to print out retainers and Invisalign within their office directly. Overall if you are in need of dental assistance I highly recommend this location. read more

ok so let me begin w i do not like going to the dentist. i would only for cleanings or when i was in pain. i had braces in high school and then didn't wear a retainer so my teeth are a mess. i felt like an ugly duckling and avoided smiling to hide my secret. i made an appointment appointment and within a month (consultations and cleanings etc) i am now on my way to get invisalign. the staff here have treated me with such dignity, caring for me like i was their most important patient. i've interacted with Esme, Beryl, Donna, Gaby ( i'm so sorry the young girl at the front desk who's name i didn't catch) they have all been amazing in their communication and professionalism. Came in for a standard teeth cleaning. Left with nothing but confusion, frustration, and a recommendation for a cleaning that costs roughly 10x what insurance covers. Here's how it went down: I scheduled a routine 45-minute cleaning, gave them my insurance info in advance, and was told it would be covered. Great. I walked in expecting to be out before lunch -- instead, I spent 90 minutes getting X-rays I didn't ask for and being slowly worn down by a full-court press for an "advanced" deep cleaning that my insurance barely touched. I asked if I could just get the regular cleaning -- the one that's covered. Their actual response: "We wouldn't even do that for our mom." Wait, what? That's the line? So I tried reasoning with them: "Okay, if me teeth is C-grade, can I at least get the B-grade cleaning to improve things?" Blank stares. No straight answers. Just more nudging toward the deluxe, platinum-tier gum polishing. After saying no several times, the hygienist looked visibly irritated -- like I was the one wasting their time. Still no cleaning. Just pressure, pitches, and a weird refusal to provide any care unless I went with the upsell. Before leaving, I asked one last time if I could just get the standard cleaning my insurance does cover. They said yes... but not for me. Not for me? So now dental care is being handed out like VIP bottle service? I walked out with no cleaning, a vague feeling of being scammed, and 90 minutes of my life I'll never get back. Jin Dental doesn't feel like a place focused on patient health -- it feels like a place focused on patient conversion rates. If you're into sales pitches and philosophical debates about what kind of cleaning your teeth are worthy of, go for it. In 2019, I attended the grand opening of Dr. Jin's first dental office. I had been scared of dental treatments since childhood in China and here in CA where painful procedures left me in tears. At that time, anesthetics were not available. Because of this, I didn't see a dentist for many years. In 2021, after getting PPO dental insurance, I found I had old fillings causing cracks in my teeth. It was overwhelming to need so much work: four fillings, two crowns, and three wisdom teeth removed. I was very nervous and had a hard time at first, but my awesome and compassionate dental assistant Donna made me feel calm and comfortable. When I woke up, I realized only part of the work was done. I asked Dr. Jin to finish everything at once, but he recommended spreading it out to avoid overwhelming me. After several appointments, I felt relieved and grateful that my teeth were healthy again, preventing future issues. This year, Dr. Jin fixed a small chip from edge damage on my teeth and adjusted the size of my other teeth to make them look straighter. He did an excellent job, and I couldn't believe the result! It made me smile more and feel so happy--I had tears of joy! I can't thank Dr. Jin & his team enough! I now enjoy visiting his dental office. His team is professional, welcoming, and accommodating. I would give him over 100 stars. He's the best dentist ever. He continually learns, works hard, undergoes intensive training, and provides the best care for all his patients. I highly recommend everyone to visit Dr. Jin, the best dentist. You won't regret it! He created a comforting environment and super clean. While it may be a bit expensive, I find it reasonable for the high-quality care. I've been a patient at Jin's Dental Aesthetics since August 2023, and I've had the best experience here. My previous visits with other dentists weren't great. I've had my concerns ignored, my tongue burned, and even had a piece of a needle left inside a molar during a root canal. Needless to say, I never liked going to the dentist. I actually feared it. But from my very first visit here, I felt heard and respected. There was no judgment from anyone, just kindness and professionalism. The front desk staff, dental assistants, and hygienists have all been incredibly welcoming and caring. Plus the office is really clean and modern. Dr. Kimmy has been absolutely amazing. She caught a few issues that other dentists had missed and always takes the time to truly listen to any concerns I have. Most notably, she resolved the jaw pain I'd been experiencing while eating by adjusting a crown that had been left too high by a previous dentist. After experiencing the drama of losing an adult tooth, I was looking for someone that could give me confidence I would end with a smile I was happy with (I lost a front tooth... cue music for what I want for Christmas). More importantly, the staff is also top notch. Everyone is friendly and caring from in-person discussions to on the phone and even via email. Dr. Jin has taken the time to clearly explain everything to me and I don't feel like it's rushed or a chore for him. I feel he has passion for what he does as well as for the success of his practice. I will start this review by saying I love coming to Drs. Jin's office. I have always been afraid of dental procedures but somehow I really feel safe and really good take care of the staff. I love that the place is super clean, with a lot of gadgets and the staff is super friendly and welcoming. My whole family comes here. Another great thing about them is that they always solve your questions and even they teach you basic stuff like proper flossing and brushing teeth (even though I'm 30) I always recommend them with friends and family.
