Work was guaranteed to be done in 7 days per the contract. First red flag was on the first day of work and in hindsight they should have been fired then and there. Veronica and Martin were supposed to meet us at 8 AM to begin work and they didn't arrive until after 2 PM. They didn't show up for 2 days after and when they did decide to show up they would work for a few hours and leave. It was excuse after excuse as to why they weren't working. Long story short, work took 2 full weeks to complete after essentially threatening to fire them. The work done is terrible and already starting to crack where repairs were supposed to have been made. They managed to rip off paint on walls that were supposed to have been covered during work and also mud was left all over our walls for us to clean up ourselves. Fixtures were not taken down and were mudded around sloppily. All of our lights are covered in paint and mud, again for us to clean up ourselves. If you want to be ripped off for sub par work at best, these are your guys. Otherwise, steer clear of Franco Drywall.

He also had to do 2 drywall repairs in my guest bath entry. The repairs were so bad I almost called him and told him not to come back. My wife said maybe that's just a first coat and he's going to finish it. He had already texture coated the repairs but I thought to give him the benefit of the doubt. Nope, he was finished and upset that I told him the repairs were very poor. He redid them and when he retextured he did the texture sideways instead of up and down. Very poor quality. The skim coating was 2 days for first coat then 2 days for second coat. We chose smooth finish with no texture and boy was it bad. The finished product has divots and high places that look like a 4 year old did it. Now onto the cleanup. He didn't hang plastic in the doorways so the entire house is covered in dust from sanding. I'm talking the ENTIRE HOUSE! Everything and I mean everything is covered in drywall dust. It took us 3 days just to clean the kitchen. I'm talking every cabinet and everything in every cabinet. Without exaggeration The entire house! I'm really mad at myself for not stopping him after the first day.

Their guys are go-getters, clean and respectful, hard workers - and the crew (photo) includes a gal, yes, up there hammering nails! As a female contractor myself, I appreciate that Greg had other jobs going on around the city but stopped by several times to be sure all was going well The team removed old shingles, replaced rotted decking, installed new shingles, ridge vents, gutter guards - all in one day (photo, mine's on the left) My neighbor had them do his roof too (no photo) and they were able to complete both in one day (each townhome is ¼ lot). As it fell dark there were a few things that didn't get completed, so, after having worked on other roofs all day, the team came back twice to finish those up. They did a good job cleaning up debris and nails, including from neighbors' properties The company uses some high-tech tools like drones to look at the roof. They hold weekly staff meetings, which I find impressive. And treat not just their clients well, but their employees, too A lot of reviewers mention their pretty roofs. I worked for this company and I can tell you firsthand that it is a very shady practice and their…read moremethods of acquiring clients are very, VERY predatory. The company downloads thousands on thousands of phone numbers from an online database and sends unsolicited calls to anybody they can early as 8 AM (even calling businesses and renters on holidays) in order to rope in clients by offering a special free estimate (which is standard practice). If you do choose to accept the free estimate, they will try to overcharge and upsell you on any sort of home remodeling projects you're considering due to the small size of the company. From a worker's point of view, the company will hide information on the jobs you confirm and will threaten your job security once a week if you do not get 2 potential jobs per day. This unfortunately leads to the harassment of many Houston citizens through desperate callbacks for months on end and even giving misleading information about the company's status with the Better Business Bureau. There are cockroaches and bugs living throughout their showroom and the owner, contractors, and most of upper management do not speak English as well. All in all, this company is very unorganized yet uncomfortably persistent when it comes to finding clients and will often overcharge clients who are in desperate need remodeling and do not have time or resources to find a second opinion. If you do come in contact with them or happen to receive an unsolicited call, I strongly suggest finding another contractor to save you from a headache/wasting your time. I would even make sure to block the number because they will not stop calling if you don't.
