Study the menu before you go. It can be quite overwhelming, but definitely worth it. I've been here four times and every time I've tried something different. I haven't found a bad dish yet. I always go around lunchtime so definitely be prepared to wait the staff as quick and efficient and always friendly. Don't expect anything fancy as this is a true gem and a hole in the wall.

First time today. I had heard of their fried seafood and wanted to try the Po'Boy. It was the best one I've found in the Atlanta area. Had great bread and 10 jumbo shrimp. 10 inch long bun. Shrimp fried perfect. Definitely going to go again.

This place is excellent. Crazy good fried seafood get the catfish and shrimp and hit it with their hot sauce. I will be back!

Great food. Great servicea It's not much to look at from the outside; but don't judge a book by its cover. I've never had a bad meal or bad service here. The portions are large and the food is always served hot. The cherry on top is the fast friendly service from their great staff. Recommended dishes: Alfredo catfish/ salmon plate pork chop plate shrimp and grits Wings burgers spinach and mushrooms pork rinds (loaded) and save room for the beignets

The place was hopping when I stopped by during lunch. It is a fried food heaven which is what I was hoping for! I ordered the fried shrimp with a side of onion rings and hush puppies. I am still scratching my head on the shrimp... I think it was pre cooked a bit, then breaded, and then fried. The texture was a bit off putting. The sides were wonderful! The staff was very personable. They were cranking out to go orders, pick ups, and dining in...

It's sad when you end up at the same restaurant twice in one week and then realize you've been three times in two weeks. But here we are. I found this little jewel after scrolling through the great Yelp reviews and decided to give it a try. Clean. Consistent. And incredibly price-conscious it almost feels like they're looking out for you personally. I walked in thinking I'd grab a little snack and I paid actual snack prices! The sides are super reasonable, and once you finish being shocked by the cost, the quality hits you next. Everything is good good. I've gotten the Charleston Fishwich twice in two weeks, and both times the fish was fried to perfection, crispy, generously portioned, and no signs of old grease or anything questionable. I haven't ventured into the healthier options yet. I've been minding my business with the fried foods and grits for now. The ladies (and gents) at the counter are all super friendly. They take your order quickly, you wait for your number, and then they open your box like it's a little reveal moment and ask what sauces you want. I'm so impressed by the food I watch everybody else's reveal moments so I can see what they're getting. No attitude, no rushing, just genuinely kind, polite service that makes you want to come back. And I will because it's that kind of place! Cafeteria-style setup, but warm, friendly energy and great food. I'll be back.

This is one of my favorite places off Lavista Road. I've actually been dining with Fork in the Road since 2010. Back then it was at Northlake Mall where Dugans is now located. I was sad when Wendy's on Lavista closed but excited when Fork in the Road took its place. The menu is almost overwhelming but there's too many good options to choose from. Whatever you're in the mood for is most likely on the menu. You can also dine in which I sometimes do vs takeout. The manager is amazing! He gives great service every time I go. His employees are efficient and polite. Some of my favs are the Sweet Cream Cornbread, Southern Fried Chicken Salad, Wings, Tenders, Fish, Alfredo pastas with either Chicken or Salmon. There's enough seating and the decor is simple enough. It's not too loud so you could have a low key date night without all the frills. Just good food, good conversation and a budget friendly outing.

This place is a local favorite. They get busy at times but the staff is always hard at work. They also give a 5% discount if you pay cash. I have been trying their healthier options lately. Through multiple visits I got to try the Cali Salad, Grilled Cajun Catfish, Garlicy mashed potatoes, spinach and mushrooms sauté, and grilled Red fish. Everything tasted amazing. I just can't stay away from this place. Parking lot is small but there is always a spot available.

Located @ 3892 Lavista Road Tucker, GA 30084 Health Score 97 = A on 11/19/25 Today we ordered Fried whole Chicken Wings, Fried Shrimp, Fried Okra, Spinach and Mushrooms, Fried Green Tomatoes and Cajun Fries all very reasonably priced. Cierra, was our order taker and she was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. This was our first time eating here and she was very patient while explaining the menu options. Ty, passed out my order and she went through each item to ensure that nothing was missing from our order. This was on a Wednesday afternoon and the restaurant was very busy with customers coming in and out picking up orders and dining in. The food is cooked to order but they offer a call ahead option for those who are interested. Tip: If you choose to dine inside, bring a jacket it was super cold inside to me. R&B music pumping through the speakers makes you feel right at home. Overall, our experience was great The Customer Service from Cierra and Ty was great. The food was delicious. It was everything for me!!! Trust me, I will be back soon!!!

They still got it going on at fork in the road. I haven't been eating out that much lately but today I do not feel like cooking so fork in the road hit the spot. The fish shrimp and fries were delicious. I haven't had one bad experience for the years that I've been eating here!

Ask the Community - Fork In The Road

What are the vegan options available?

Other than various salads and some vegetable sides, there aren't that many other options for people on vegan diets. Fyi, some of the veggie sides are dunked into a batter, then fried.

My previous 4 star review was mostly because the menu wasn't really my favorite offerings, and when you are going to eat in the same place 4 or 5 times in a week, variety that matches your palette help. I had my favorite 1 or 2 meals, but some of the takes on standard dishes just weren't my thing. If previous reviews were just on staff, it would always be 5-star. So why a new review? Because on my last trip to town, I had two daily specials which normally I listen to patiently then order my go-to(s). My favorite bartender Juan laid out the Chicken Parmesan one day, and as an Italian who makes a great version of that dish, I was intrigued. When it arrived, everyone within visual range wanted to know what it was. A huge piece of chicken, cooked perfectly in a nice gravy and just the right amount of cheese. Also the angle hair pasta was cooked just right. So in one dish, Marlow's avoided the 3 pitfalls of most non-Italian restaurants when they try pasta, good sauce/not too much cheese/properly cooked pasta (angle hair is often over-cooked because it is so thin). The next day Juan asked again if I wanted to hear the special, and after the success of the parmesan, I eagerly awaited. I'm not an Alfredo fan, I like my gravy red, but I took a shot. The noodles were well done, the chicken well flavored and cooked, and the gravy was nicely doled out, unlike most places that like to bury the product underneath. Once again, well done. Finally on another day I wasn't feeling the special, so I went with one of my old standbys, the prime rib dip. Always big and filling, and great au jus. So my follow up review is now a 5-star, with these new dishes (I recommend one of the pastas make it to the menu), and the air conditioning fixed, why would I go anywhere else when in Tucker? Oh and Kat and the staff are still 5-star.

Went here for happy hour which is a fantastic deal, the service I received knocked off a star…read more Their happy hour is from 4-6 Monday-Friday. It's been a few years since I've dined at Marlow's, but their HH deals brought me in. I sat at the bar, and maybe they were in the middle of a shift change bc it took a while to get greeted and service throughout my experience was slow. I had to wave them down, ask for refills instead of the bartender being diligent. The bar was full, but at one point I saw one of the bartenders texting, so they had time to check on guests. I'm also in the service industry , so I may notice these things more than the average person. Anyways, their happy hour is one of the best I've come across. $5 margs & $6 old fashions to highlight a few items. I love a happy hour with food AND drinks. The food here is still as solid as I remember. I had the kettle chips and wings. Wings were not sauced, but very crispy and came with dipping sauce on the side. The chips were hella good! Crispy and the toppings were great. I had those two appetizers, 3 margs and a creme brûlée for under $40! That's a win, this will be one of my go-to spots for sure.

Now, here is where the rating was impacted! I asked what type of fish it was before making a selection. The staff responded. "Catfish." Coo! Ultimately, it was NOT catfish. I would attribute the texture and how it fried to being along the lines of a Swai or similar fish. The only thing that saved it was the light cornmeal batter, which was good. Not much seasoning, so hot sauce was needed. Sides: Collard greens - good (per my hubs) Macaroni and cheese - standard/good (per my hubs) Deviled eggs - good Broccoli cheese casserole - PASS (there was some sort of brown crumble between the layer of cheese and the actual casserole and it was not needed and wasn't good! Hard, but honest opinion. Also, there were large mushrooms in the casserole (no, it wasn't from a mushroom soup), so beware if you're not a mushroom eater -- I don't mind. Mashed potatoes - good and creamy (Baby girl did no gravy, so we have no thoughts on that!) Fried okra - good (my fav of the sides for the day). We came before 11:30 AM and that proved to be ideal. By the time we left (12:15), it was packed tighter than a can of sardines! Ambiance -- ehhh. It's typical cafeteria vibes. No music. Basic decor.

The quesadilla was not completely filled to capacity. I wouldn't order it again though. The chips and salsa that came with it were terrible. The chips tasted like those fried chip things you put in your won ton soup at a Chinese restaurant and the salsa was inedible. It tasted like it had gone bad or they just make a gross salsa. The best part was the fried basket with pickles and jalapeños. Those were very good except $10 seemed a bit high for this appetizer. $7 or $8 would make more sense. If we ever go back I would try a hamburger as I hear they are huge. But, then again, the wings weren't jumbo.
