2 pounds of the best crawfish, ever!
    Sean H.

Today I had the best crawfish of my entire life. Most places offer barely midsize to tiny specimens with all the seasoning on the outside and barely any meat within. Southern Seafood on the other hand gave us mid to XL and they were meaty, juicy and flavourful all around. These weren't crawfish; they were craw-mommies and daddies. Mmmmm-m! We shall return!

This is definitely my "Go To" spot when I want seafood. I wanted blue crabs and crab legs. Their crab legs are $23.99/pound but they are so meaty. Yes you can get them cheaper but I bet they won't be as meaty. The seafood market isn't much to look at but the food is really good.

Cool place to pick up boiled seafood such as crawfish and shrimp. Also has D&D smoked sausage and Pattons hot sausage patties for all my New Orleans folks!!! The customer service could use a revamp but it's not a dine in restaurant, just to go seafood.

I have been going to this place for years ! Have not been in about 2 years and I was a little disappointed with the major increase in prices - Expected of course , but it was a bit extreme. Staff was the same Not friendly at all , and seemed bothered . All I can say is Southern Seafood is a dirty little seafood market that sells good fresh seafood lol. If your ok with that and can overlook the the cleanliness and upkeep of the place - this is the spot

Thank the good Lord, I have found some Louisiana in Georgia. This is like a seafood market when you walk in there are a few tables and chairs that you can sit in. I ordered four pounds of crawfish and a pound of boiled shrimp( peeled and deveined for $1 extra per lb) they ask if you want them spicy or mild. I got mine spicy along with potatoes and corn for a total of around $43. I will start with the crawfish. Please do NOT ask for extra seasoning because my nose was running, mouth was on fire, and I drank an entire cup of water while eating my four pounds. There were a good mixture of small, medium, and large crawfish. My only complaint was that the crawfish were left in the water too long and I had a lot of mushy crawfish, which was a waste of money! Now for the shrimp, I did get my spicy which it seemed like they threw cayenne pepper on top of them. I mixed up some mayo and ketchup and those shrimp hit the spot. My potatoes and corn were good as well and had great flavor. All in all this little spot gave me that piece of home I was missing. Also you can get your seafood boil here and a few Louisiana products. Please I'd tour craving seafood, give them a try !

I really wanted to support the local Vietnamese restaurant. However, it must not have been crawfish season. Those critters are so tiny! What little meat I could manage to get was tender though. I asked them to de shell the shrimp and to make it MINIMALLY spicy. Oh lawd, the juices must have soaked and concentrated in the crawfish heads and spilled over the rest of the seafood. I ate half of my order until I couldn't stand it anymore. I found a kefir yogurt drink from weeks ago and used that to rinse and get relief. I have never experienced anything so spicy. My lips got inflamed and I wanted to pass out to get relief. This experience led me to give it only one star. I also got a quarter of a potato that was bland. Corn also had no flavor at all (were my taste buds overwhelmed and killed by this point?!). The place was worth to try once. However, I'd do my research before re visiting. Maybe the next experience will be better.

Pepsi products, sweet/unsweetened tea... NO ALCOHOL! Outstanding employees! All so nice! Big menu- ask for one if needed, they have scrolling screens & it is hard to figure out. They have fresh & fried options. Here are pics of our meals. All left with to-go's. Note, meals are served in to-go containers, not actual plates. The music is fun but WAY WAY WAY too loud. Heads up. I'd truly go back if in town. What an unexpected treat for dad's birthday. He was HAPPY!

Making reservations was incredibly easy through OpenTable, and I was pleasantly surprised by the convenient valet service for only $3. It was an effortless start to what turned out to be an exceptional dining experience. Upon entering, we were warmly greeted by the host and promptly escorted to our table without any wait. Our waiter, Kevin, was phenomenal. He did an excellent job explaining the menu, offering thoughtful recommendations, and making sure everyone's needs were attended to throughout the afternoon. The service was attentive without being overbearing--truly excellent and unforgettable hospitality. We started with the Chargrilled Oysters, Oysters Rockefeller, and Calamari. Everything was satisfying, but the calamari was the standout for me. It had the perfect crunch and was quite literally fried to perfection. I would absolutely order it again. These appetizers are true staples and a great way to start the meal. We also enjoyed several rounds of cocktails. The bartender was able to execute a few off-menu, custom cocktails perfectly, and there were absolutely no complaints from our table. Everything was well-balanced and thoughtfully prepared. For my entrée, I ordered the Blackened Branzino with lemon-herb beurre blanc, paired with whipped potatoes and Vichy carrots. By far, this is one of the best seafood entrées I've had in Atlanta. I've had branzino at plenty of other restaurants, but this one? It clears the competition and has officially claimed the #1 spot on my list. The fish was beautifully prepared, flavorful, and paired perfectly with the sauce and sides. The rest of our party had equally impressive meals. I had the opportunity to sample the 12 oz. Prime NY Strip, Blackened Salmon, Lobster Mac & Cheese, Brussels Sprouts, Green Beans, and Clam Chowder, and everything was amazing. There wasn't a single dish that disappointed. Overall, this was truly an exceptional dining experience from start to finish. Great food, phenomenal hospitality, attentive service, and an atmosphere that made celebrating my mother's birthday feel special. I'm already looking forward to returning--and next time, I definitely want to check out the patio! A true standout for seafood in Atlanta. Highly recommend.

We paired the oysters with calamari, truffle fries, and a couple of glasses of the HH Pinot Noir and Sauvignon Blanc. Everything tasted good, and our server Dayvion gave us excellent service. They have valet and a parking deck right next door. Definitely recommend if you're in the neighborhood!

Got the reservation confirmation and then confirmed via the automated system prior to the event. When we arrived we were informed that they recently changed their reservation system and did not have space for us. They offered we could either come back much later that night, stand in the corner hoping someone left, or try to squeeze in somewhere amongst the currently seated guests. Now we understand that mistakes happen. But just maybe if you have two concurrent reservation systems and a booked out event you might check them to see if there's any overlap. Then you could reach out to people beforehand so they can make alternate arrangements ahead of time. What you don't want is for them to show up and then be told to stand in the corner.
