2 pounds of the best crawfish, ever!
    Sean H.

Today I had the best crawfish of my entire life. Most places offer barely midsize to tiny specimens with all the seasoning on the outside and barely any meat within. Southern Seafood on the other hand gave us mid to XL and they were meaty, juicy and flavourful all around. These weren't crawfish; they were craw-mommies and daddies. Mmmmm-m! We shall return!

This is definitely my "Go To" spot when I want seafood. I wanted blue crabs and crab legs. Their crab legs are $23.99/pound but they are so meaty. Yes you can get them cheaper but I bet they won't be as meaty. The seafood market isn't much to look at but the food is really good.

Cool place to pick up boiled seafood such as crawfish and shrimp. Also has D&D smoked sausage and Pattons hot sausage patties for all my New Orleans folks!!! The customer service could use a revamp but it's not a dine in restaurant, just to go seafood.

I have been going to this place for years ! Have not been in about 2 years and I was a little disappointed with the major increase in prices - Expected of course , but it was a bit extreme. Staff was the same Not friendly at all , and seemed bothered . All I can say is Southern Seafood is a dirty little seafood market that sells good fresh seafood lol. If your ok with that and can overlook the the cleanliness and upkeep of the place - this is the spot

Thank the good Lord, I have found some Louisiana in Georgia. This is like a seafood market when you walk in there are a few tables and chairs that you can sit in. I ordered four pounds of crawfish and a pound of boiled shrimp( peeled and deveined for $1 extra per lb) they ask if you want them spicy or mild. I got mine spicy along with potatoes and corn for a total of around $43. I will start with the crawfish. Please do NOT ask for extra seasoning because my nose was running, mouth was on fire, and I drank an entire cup of water while eating my four pounds. There were a good mixture of small, medium, and large crawfish. My only complaint was that the crawfish were left in the water too long and I had a lot of mushy crawfish, which was a waste of money! Now for the shrimp, I did get my spicy which it seemed like they threw cayenne pepper on top of them. I mixed up some mayo and ketchup and those shrimp hit the spot. My potatoes and corn were good as well and had great flavor. All in all this little spot gave me that piece of home I was missing. Also you can get your seafood boil here and a few Louisiana products. Please I'd tour craving seafood, give them a try !

I really wanted to support the local Vietnamese restaurant. However, it must not have been crawfish season. Those critters are so tiny! What little meat I could manage to get was tender though. I asked them to de shell the shrimp and to make it MINIMALLY spicy. Oh lawd, the juices must have soaked and concentrated in the crawfish heads and spilled over the rest of the seafood. I ate half of my order until I couldn't stand it anymore. I found a kefir yogurt drink from weeks ago and used that to rinse and get relief. I have never experienced anything so spicy. My lips got inflamed and I wanted to pass out to get relief. This experience led me to give it only one star. I also got a quarter of a potato that was bland. Corn also had no flavor at all (were my taste buds overwhelmed and killed by this point?!). The place was worth to try once. However, I'd do my research before re visiting. Maybe the next experience will be better.

It was a Saturday night but we were a little on the earlier side for dinner so the wait was less than 30 minutes. WELL worth the wait! The atmosphere is fun and casual. Many people were celebrating birthdays with large parties. We ordered the seafood fondeaux based on my friend's recommendation and it was excellent. I ate way too much for sure but it was hard to stop! I ordered the Chicken Ooh La La with angel hair pasta and added on a side salad. I tried the ginger citrus (house) dressing and wasn't sure what to expect but I was very pleased. Not overpowering ... perfect mix of ginger and citrus. The Chicken Ooh La La was excellent as well and needless to say I took most of it with me. My husband ordered the Poo Boy (half portion) with fries. He said it was excellent as well and the half portion was just enough. Service was excellent as well. The young lady that waited on us was super friendly and accommodating. The staff also comes around in NOLA fashion and throws beads on you which was a fun experience. I would definitely return to Henry's but for now I look forward to my leftovers tomorrow!

Multiple stuffed and topped redfish options, lots of crawfish, and plenty of dishes that require a roux (all things that lesser restaurants are clearly afraid, or unable, to offer on their menus). For me, most importantly, they have crawfish etouffee. Any other dinner items will have to wait till a future visit. It was terrific, made from a hearty roux, with lots of crawfish flavor. It was a more tomato-y variety of etouffee than I make for myself, but it was excellent in a different way (the tomato presence was good -- neither sour nor bland). Service is great, attentive but not obtrusive. Plus, they have live jazz music -- even though I was there too early for the live music, it's important to support restaurants that make the effort to have real musicians. Nearly everywhere in Atlanta has very kind people and very good food, but I will still try to stop by the Louisiana Bistreaux next time I'm visiting the friendly sweltering inferno that is Atlanta.
