This is definitely my "Go To" spot when I want seafood. I wanted blue crabs and crab legs. Their crab legs are $23.99/pound but they are so meaty. Yes you can get them cheaper but I bet they won't be as meaty. The seafood market isn't much to look at but the food is really good.

2 pounds of the best crawfish, ever!

Today I had the best crawfish of my entire life. Most places offer barely midsize to tiny specimens with all the seasoning on the outside and barely any meat within. Southern Seafood on the other hand gave us mid to XL and they were meaty, juicy and flavourful all around. These weren't crawfish; they were craw-mommies and daddies. Mmmmm-m! We shall return!

Cool place to pick up boiled seafood such as crawfish and shrimp. Also has D&D smoked sausage and Pattons hot sausage patties for all my New Orleans folks!!! The customer service could use a revamp but it's not a dine in restaurant, just to go seafood.

I have been going to this place for years ! Have not been in about 2 years and I was a little disappointed with the major increase in prices - Expected of course , but it was a bit extreme. Staff was the same Not friendly at all , and seemed bothered . All I can say is Southern Seafood is a dirty little seafood market that sells good fresh seafood lol. If your ok with that and can overlook the the cleanliness and upkeep of the place - this is the spot

Thank the good Lord, I have found some Louisiana in Georgia. This is like a seafood market when you walk in there are a few tables and chairs that you can sit in. I ordered four pounds of crawfish and a pound of boiled shrimp( peeled and deveined for $1 extra per lb) they ask if you want them spicy or mild. I got mine spicy along with potatoes and corn for a total of around $43. I will start with the crawfish. Please do NOT ask for extra seasoning because my nose was running, mouth was on fire, and I drank an entire cup of water while eating my four pounds. There were a good mixture of small, medium, and large crawfish. My only complaint was that the crawfish were left in the water too long and I had a lot of mushy crawfish, which was a waste of money! Now for the shrimp, I did get my spicy which it seemed like they threw cayenne pepper on top of them. I mixed up some mayo and ketchup and those shrimp hit the spot. My potatoes and corn were good as well and had great flavor. All in all this little spot gave me that piece of home I was missing. Also you can get your seafood boil here and a few Louisiana products. Please I'd tour craving seafood, give them a try !

I moved to Atlanta from TX about 4 years ago and have always lamented not being able to find good crawfish here.

Initially, I had this really good seafood restaurant in Marietta on my radar but I wanted to try something different. So, I Googled and Yelped, finding this place. Henry's Louisiana Grill. It's far, like crazy far from my home. It took a long while to get there. Like there was no McDonald's or Waffle House ANYWHERE!!  Not that I eat that stuff but you take my meaning. I got there, went to the hostess stand and was greeted warmly by two young ladies. They directed me to the bar, as I was taking it to go. Spain was playing Belgium at 3PM and I did not want to miss it  When I went over to the bar, I met this really cool Bartender Goddess named Julie. She could not have been more hospitable and cheerful. I placed my order with her and in about 15-20 minutes, my food was packed and ready to go. The time was not a problem; everything is made to order. What did I have? I ordered their hot chili gator for one and their Chef Henry's Seafood Platter. It was plenty and it was really good. As if I wasn't stuffed enough, I also had their bread pudding. There is something in the sauce, I was scraping the bowl and I never do that...LOL Moreover, the long drive was worth it.  Henry's Louisiana Grill definitely served a good birthday lunch/dinner. I enjoyed every bite and still have leftovers, even of that bowl-scraping bread pudding. Oh, Spain won, 2-1. Awesome!

The coconut cream matcha and the cherry limeade were both delicious. For apps we did raw gulf oysters 100/10 and crab claws 10/10 the sauce on them was insane. Inside is dimly lit with several tables, a large bar, and a furry staircase leading upstairs to another bar. Service was good and the drinks were strong. I ordered the Bayou Fog. The food was tasty but nothing special, more like a solid homemade sandwich with your favorite mayo. It's good and satisfying, just not unforgettable. I had the Seafood and Sausage Gumbo and a half Po' Boy called Bo Kho, and while both were enjoyable, they're items I could easily make at home. I'd go again if invited but probably wouldn't make a special trip. If you're curious, it's worth checking out for yourself. Parking is limited behind the restaurant, the lot across the street is for Mary Mac's, and street parking or the Park Mobile app may be your best option.

It is exciting to find a restaurant serving great Cajun food (probably my favorite cuisine)…read more They have all the dishes you'd expect from a serious Cajun restaurant. Multiple stuffed and topped redfish options, lots of crawfish, and plenty of dishes that require a roux (all things that lesser restaurants are clearly afraid, or unable, to offer on their menus). For me, most importantly, they have crawfish etouffee. Any other dinner items will have to wait till a future visit. It was terrific, made from a hearty roux, with lots of crawfish flavor. It was a more tomato-y variety of etouffee than I make for myself, but it was excellent in a different way (the tomato presence was good -- neither sour nor bland). Service is great, attentive but not obtrusive. Plus, they have live jazz music -- even though I was there too early for the live music, it's important to support restaurants that make the effort to have real musicians. Nearly everywhere in Atlanta has very kind people and very good food, but I will still try to stop by the Louisiana Bistreaux next time I'm visiting the friendly sweltering inferno that is Atlanta.
