I've used West Air for my furnace and now AC. Recently encountered issues with our old AC (original…read moreto house, 30+yrs). Had another service place out and they said it was a freon leak and they filled it up with freon but couldn't diagnose the leak. Unit didn't work at all a day later. I called West Air to quote on a new AC. Owner said that it would be worth diagnosing the unit before replacing it. I assumed it was beyond repair since we had just filled it up with freon. Owner strongly encouraged me to diagnose it first just in case there was a chance they could fix the leak and buy us a few years more with our AC. Sure enough his tech went out there and actually found two leaks and sealed them up. Also found that the previous company had overcharged it with freon to the point it wouldn't work. Bottom line: the unit works! Appreciate the good customer service when they could have easily just said to replace it.
