If I could give this place no stars I would. Very disappointed in that my girlfriend and I were very interested in joining, having had communication with the Sensei, we had already established an agreement that we would be starting on the 7th of April that we would begin classes. Today, (after a few unsuccessful phone calls to Sensi) I then made attempt to meet and arrange for payment ($900) by showing up to the Dojo, i walked in, it was at the end of a session. there was no sign on the door, zero direction zero respect at that. going forward, I went to open the door to wait for session to be done. before i could open the door fully, he began to yell and raised his hand at me shaking his head with an ignorant face yelled at me saying to leave were having class. I couldn't believe what just happened, here i am after several attempts to contact then driving there to hand payment and set classes up for my girlfriend and I, here is supposed to be a respectable man, yelling at me in front of a class full of children around the ages 7-10-year-olds. here I am a 35-yr old man who is a armature fighter- MMA-muaythai-taekwondo-wresting never in my life have I dealt with this kind of disrespect from a supposable Sensei. He has no business running a Dojo, especially with children. read more

Sorry to say I wasn't able to join this place (but also kinda glad because it was 450$), as a family member of mine and his wife was intending on doing. He, being an accomplished martial artist and amateur boxer was looking forward to joining, and had convinced me to join up as well. I had a special reason as the building this business occupies was none other the location of the world famous Frantz powerlifting gym, where we both were members for years. I'm sorry to say I gave up on joining in view of the extremely unprofessional actions (or lack thereof) of Sensei Dhawan, who seemed to care less about accepting new members. He had terrible communication with my family member, and when attempting to arrange a membership in person ( $900 in hand mind you), he was literally turned away in most rude manner, simply because a class was in session. There are professional ways to deal with prospective members and this was definitely not one of them. Of course he hadn't intended on disrupting his class, but the Sensei's rude action turning him away like that spoke volumes as to what he and his wife might expect if they did join. Thankfully there are other options in the area. read more
