After spending many hours ferreting through multiple responses from various window replacement and…read morerepair companies, NONE of whom actually responded to my inquiries of repairing old aluminum windows, I finally got a response from someone who actually was able to address my specific needs. Andre of Medallion Glass and Shower Doors contacted me and told me that his company could repair existing old aluminum windows. More amazingly, he came to my rental property the very next day, sized up the windows and ordered the necessary parts. He then contacted me on the Tuesday after the weekend, informing me that the parts had arrived. The next day he showed up at the property at the agreed upon time with two coworkers. They proceeded to repair the 4 old aluminum windows, replaced several aluminum window clips to hold the windows open, constructed screens for two of the windows, and replaced a shower safety door sweeper. To be candid, in light of all the worthless solicitations I received from multiple window repair companies after having placed my inquiry on yelp, Medallion Glass and Shower Works was a breath of fresh air. Not only was Andre responsive, but he's pleasant to work with and clearly he and his fellow workers are extremely competent.
