My husband and I each had pedicures, and I had a manicure, and it was nice to sit together in her cozy, relaxing salon. J'Leigh takes great care to maintain a high level of cleanliness and ensure your comfort. She is a kind, warm person, and we enjoyed talking with her while she did a wonderful job on our nails. Highly recommend!!! J'Leigh (jay-lee) is thoughtful and kind. She has a wide selection of colors. She will do traditional, French Tips, and gel manicure and pedicure. She is dedicated to sanitation; sanitizes between each appointment. Reasonably priced for high standards, quality work, and approachable about discussing preferences/if you see something not up to your standards. It is a home business. She has a dedicated space that feels like a professional salon and a comfortable home atmosphere if there are interactions of home life. Give her a try! She helped me to not only start the healing process from my very first manicure ever (with gel) that was improperly removed. So much damage and brittle nails. I have very strong nails. She also problem solved with me about issues with my cuticles; they look so much better! I did about two traditional manicures with her: They still chip some; however, they lasted way longer than I expected. I also did a pedicure. She does a very simple process. She does have stamps for nail decorations and is learning freehand design work with polish. I believe this shows her motivation and dedication to a quality service. She has dedicated clients that come every two weeks for gels FYI. She used to be a medical assistant, and sanitation is a priority (she sanitizes between every appointment). Highly recommend! Don't feel the need to shave for a pedicure. She was nonjudgmental. She does have two cute very small and friendly dogs that may or may not be there to greet you. It's a simple at home business, and I'm sure she'd consider trying something added to her services if you want; just ask. It's an automatic no if you don't. She may consider; however, she has healthy boundaries that are communicated kindly and knows her limits for the best quality manicure and pedicure experience she provides. She will process or will be honest about requests for the future (straight forward). It's a small business and area; it was comfortably spaced for two people (brought my mom) and maybe three. J'leigh is the best nail Tech I have ever seen . I've been a massage therapist for 11 years and gave up on the idea of having beautiful nails because my nails are so short and shellac never worked out for me in the past. I have been having a shellac French manicure for nearly 6 months now and I love it ! My nails are always beautiful now even though they are short. I came to J'leigh after my original nail lady quit and the place i went to after had SEVERELY hurt my original nails.. causing a ring of fire (where they tilt the grinder into your nail and cause a huge rut) her prices are a little more than the asian gals shops BUT the quality is 100% better and her service is 1000% better and I don't have to worry about MRSA or infections b/c she is so clean! I love being able to talk and laugh with her during our appointments. Honestly i feel like i'm going to my friends house she is just so wonderful. I honestly would recommend anyone to her. I have tried pretty much all the shops in marysville, lake stevens and arlington and i'm done i have found my nail lady. Love my nails every time i leave :) Just tell her what you want and she'll make it happen :) She isn't like the other gals who make excuses and don't want to fix it. I really wanted to find a GREAT local nail person while here at Lake Stevens. Found her! J'leigh took her time, did an excellent job on my nails and toes, gave great advice on my nails and even sent me away with a sample of oil so I can keep up my CND Gels until we get home. J'leigh is just awesome! I have gone to various nail salons over the years, and more recently had been going to one very regularly for shellac mani's. After about 3-4 months of shellac mani's, I noticed my fingernails no longer stayed looking nice for even 1 week after the mani. My nails were so weak and frail, so damaged. I used to be able to get 3+ weeks out of a shellac mani! I tried a different salon and went with acrylics since I is so much stronger. I hated them. Then I found J'leigh. All of the reviews on Yelp were 4+ stars, which impressed me. Everyone raved, so I called her. I've been going to J'leigh for a few months now, and love my experience every time. My nails always look great, I'm back to wearing shellac and back to wearing it for about 3 weeks! She always takes her time and does a very thorough job. Never rushes or damages your nails. She is a little more pricey, but it's worth it, in my opinion. read more

I visited J'Leigh for the first time today. As I have had some terrible experiences lately, I was a little nervous. I started with a pedicure and instantly relaxed. Even though this was my first time meeting her, I instantly felt like she was a friend. My feet and nails were in terrible shape despite a recent pedicure and she took the time to carefully exfoliate and examine them. She pointed out some areas of concern and gave me ideas on how to solve them. After my pedi, we started on my nails. As she filed off the extensions that I had put on two weeks ago, we found deep drill marks and two nails broken underneath due to being drilled so aggressively. Though we had hoped to do shellac, we realized that wasn't feasible with the shape my nails were in. She did a full set of beautiful acrylics, using natural tips and using pink and while acrylic to create a beautiful forever french manicure. I am very particular about my nails and like them shorter and more natural looking with a thinner white tip. She asked for feedback throughout the process, making sure that I was getting exactly what I wanted. I asked questions throughout the process and never felt like I was bothering her. She also talked to me about nail care and how to keep my nails looking nice throughout the two week time between rebalances. She warned me that there would be some minimal lifting, but showed me how to file that away and recommended a great top coat to refresh my manicure. The whole process took three hours, but it went by in a flash. She took her time and we chatted away e entire time. The end result is a beautiful, natural looking manicure and a gorgeous pedicure and soft feet. J'Leigh is a hidden gem. Her prices are a bit higher than your average strip mall place, but the quality is worth every penny. I am so glad that I have found her and highly recommend you try her, too. read more

I've been going now for a few months, every two weeks. I'm definitely a regular. My manicures almost always last a full two weeks, and my pedicures last even longer. My manis would probably last longer, too, if I weren't a klutz and I didn't mind the grow out. J'leigh has become a friend, and I always look forward to my appointment. I found her salon through a deal from Amazon Local. I needed to have my nails and a pedicure done before my son's wedding. I was going to get acrylic nails done because my nails are so weak. J'leigh asked me to trust her and try a gel manicure. She said it would last for over two weeks. We did a French manicure and it looked great! It has lasted over two weeks already. She also did a great job on my feet, the color matched my dress perfectly! I loved the time we spent chatting while my nails were being done.
